I think this line from the description of the file sums it up perfectly:

nothing gets me more heated than people saying it’s weird when other players have a female tav that romances astarion because he’s “obviously gay.”

a man being flamboyant =/= gay. astarion has expressed attraction to all genders, and it is canon that he is pansexual. equating “flamboyant” to “gay” can can be harmful so please stop.

i know this is just a video game and some stupid online discourse, but it’s so frustrating to see people spewing bigoted rhetoric and passing it off as some enlightened progressive take.

Okay so Noelle’s private post about Kris and Susie, yeah that post.

So I see a lot of people theorising that Kris replied back to Susie something like ‘what like you?’ or ‘like your mom?’ or something like that, which is a possibility.

However I saw one person on twitter suggest another possible reply that is even more harrowing in my opinion.

And that was “good.”

I’m actually more inclined to believe that especially because of Susie reaction afterwards.

If what Kris had replied was insulting I think she would just get more angry, but instead, Susie was shocked. Noelle said that her whole demeanour changed and that she backed off quickly , this is important, it indicates that was Kris said disturbed her.

I think that sort of reaction out of Susie would’ve come more from Kris indicating wanting to be gone, or some sort of agreement that their mum would be happy if they did so.

Noelle also mentioned that Susie is head was held low, which of course may just be because she was upset at what Kris said if it was something equally cruel. However, to me it also shows shame,

because she realised that she was picking on someone who already wants to disappear.

reasons to love the rtc fandom !!

the musical is weird!! so. fucking. weird. but, instead of dwelling on that and criticizing it, everyone...embraces it. space age bachelor man is beloved. no one hates on this song is awesome's autotune. the quotes are repeated over and over. we all love it despite its weirdness!! and thats a good thing!!

instead of being quick to villainize ocean's every move like fandoms tend to do with female characters who have even a hint of flaw, ocean's an understood character by this fandom! of course, some of what she said is inexcusable (stop trying to excuse some of the things she said abt ricky omg wtf), but we can understand why she acts like she does!! that's very important in a fandom!!

no one messes with noel ok. no one babies him. he is gay. he is a poet. he is emo. and no one tries to femboy him up and make him too soft for his own good. everyone treats him seriously. fandoms could learn from that with their queer characters.

best of all? we haven't gone toxic yet. everyone respects each other's opinion. oh, you think talia doesnt actually exist? hm, ok! oh, you think noel is transfem? awesome! i think he's trans, too! you ship ocean and constance? that's adorable! you believe jane has autism? that's really cool!! etc etc. nothing has gone sour at all. no arguments or drama. we all love this gay little dead kid musical. by being so accepting, we are opening the doors and helping manifest the better tumblr fandoms of tomorrow. keep doing what you do, guys! <3

Where's that post that's like "Medic tf2 is a physically imposing six-foot-tall German man whose voice sounds like he would jump into the air and click his heels when he gets a new shipment of organs". Bc that pegged it

I don't know how you can look at sans' pacifist arc which is all about letting himself care about the future again and rekindling that ember of hope he never truly lost in the shape of this tiny, sensational, cosmically terrifying human kid in order to finally move on from his past life and fully live the life he has NOW with his new friends, trusting said kid with his story, letting them know it's okay (sans with a lot of people you don't recognize. you and sans with all of your friends. it doesn't matter, he looks happy)

...and then go "i think post pacifist frisk would hate him".

that adds nothing to the characters and it's so needlessly mean spirited it becomes straight up cheap. hate him for what? not keeping his promise in full? letting them die? this kid fought a god and won, frisk doesn't give a crap about dying! the only times they react to death in any capacity in canon it's:

1) someone else's death (which they caused)

2) a way to make their opponent feel bad and stop fighting

3) after flowey takes their SAVE powers.

this kid gets beaten to death by asgore an uncountable number of times and they still trot over to gerson in the epilogue to be like "is he a goat? is he immortal? okay but what if he adopted me, could he adopt me? i'm very adoptable you know". be real now.

The story is Leo and Mikey centric but let me be clear, every one of these characters hits the mark with characterization and dialogue and the descriptions of the landscapes in the American West are just ASDOIHAOSIDHOSAHFOISAHFOIASFHOFH WHY ARE YOU STILL READING MY BS GO READ IT
