I've been trying for hours to figure out how to use particle systems to make a medigun beam in Blender. I think I was actually getting pretty close when... this happened... whatever the hell it is.

I don't know whether it looks more like blood/guts or some kind of very huge weird fruit. But I knew as soon as I saw it that I had to let Ludwig play in it like some deranged cat kneading a squelching blanket of undefined gore.

I feel like we don’t appreciate Jed’s phenomenal communication skills enough

like, he has absolutely no issue going “when you do this, it makes me feel like this, and I don’t like it” and I think that’s freaking fantastic

he clearly communicates his boundaries, and not only sets them but explains why he has them and how it makes him feel when they’re violated

like, he doesn’t have to do that, but he does

he is so in tune with his emotions and literally has no issue communicating them

and especially considering he’s a guy (and a guy from the Wild West at that) and he’s still so in tune with his feelings and has no issue expressing and communicating them healthily?

Someone give this cowboy a reward right fuckin now

He has better communication skills than anyone I’ve met in real life, like hot damn

And like, you don’t even realize how good they are until you rewatch the movies, but once you notice them like-

like this man knows what he’s feeling and what his emotions are so well, and just says what he’s feeling. And what makes it stand out so much is that he doesn’t just do it with positive emotions, emotions where it’s easier to express them. He does it with the negative emotions too, the ones people hate to express and/or have a really hard time expressing.

Doubts? Voices them. Anger? You will know when and why he is angry. Uncomfortable? If it wasn’t your problem before, it is now.

nothing gets me more heated than people saying it’s weird when other players have a female tav that romances astarion because he’s “obviously gay.”

a man being flamboyant =/= gay. astarion has expressed attraction to all genders, and it is canon that he is pansexual. equating “flamboyant” to “gay” can can be harmful so please stop.

i know this is just a video game and some stupid online discourse, but it’s so frustrating to see people spewing bigoted rhetoric and passing it off as some enlightened progressive take.

I feel like how every alien species sees the humans in the “humans are spaces orcs” cannon is how we rate Chinese restaurants: 3.5 stars; gets shit done better than everyone else, but a nightmare to work with.
