Very brave of me to make a set of illustrations that's 90% hands
Anyway. This is about my personal theories/headcanons about the vision requirements
EDIT: I made a post elaborating on my theories/headcanons! Check it out if you wanna know a bit more :D
EDIT (again): Just so you know (bc ppl keep mentioning it in the tags), I am well aware Archons don't personally give out visionsđ The Archons' hands are supposed to be more symbolic, since it IS heavily implied they have a subconcious affect on who gets one, even if they don't actually have any active say in it
You know shits ab to go down when they hit you wit this look
"Don't worry kid, you're dad had plenty of kids he stopped helping out when he lost interest"
Theseus, who was helped by poseidon multiple times, but in the end was thrown off a cliff by the citizens of Athens and drowned. Drowned in the ocean, the very domain of his father.
Kymopoleia, who was neglected by Poseidon once he found her to be too violent, left to wander his abandoned palaces, given up as a war prize to man she didn't even want with no choice at all.
Bellerophon, who was given the pegasus to tame as a gift from Poseidon in some myths, dying by falling off of it on his way to Olympus.
I'm just saying, that line wasn't a random throwaway line by Ares, he means it.
PROTAG is MISERABLE!

So my headcanons about Percy and Annabethâs children change a lot, but one thing I hold to be absolutely true is that one of them inherits Sallyâs eye color.
It takes Percy and Annabeth a while to realize because newbornsâ eyes can change color as they get older, and their previous child(ren) werenât born with grey/green eyes, though their eye color did change to that over time.
Of course, the two of them have big feelings over this once they do realize. Annabeth because her child has the same eyes as the first person who was motherly to her and whom she deeply respects. Percy because he adores his mom and after everyone telling him for his whole life how he is the spitting image of his father, here is proof that some small part of him must have come from his mom and he carries that deep inside him.
omg let me umm cook your ex ^_^

Itâs so important that tsp is a game that knows itâs a game and it asks you to keep playing it and it tells you that to keep playing it is to torment these two characters but it asks you to do it anyway.
I watched The Morality of The Shadow of the Colossus and it said âyouâre involved in it but youâre not Complicit. These things would happen anyway. Youâre just re-enacting itâ and I feel like the Parable is SOME of that. It wants you to feel complicit but it never really blames you for what happens, except maybe in the potency of the Skip Button. And by that point you have next to no choice.
TSP asks you to play it, knowing the consequences, and says âyou can save these two, but you wonât, but thatâs okay, nobody blames you. This is how theyâre designed. This is how we need them to be, for the game to work. Please, keep playing. Keep making them butt heads. We made them for you.
We made them for you.â
