Like many people in Gaza, Ibrahim Mohammed and his family have lost more in a year than most people lose in a lifetime. Their home was bombed while the children were playing, injuring them, they no longer have access to education, Ibrahim lost his job and his car, family members have passed away... Ibrahim's elderly parents need operations as soon as possible, but they can't get them due to the lack of healthcare were they are. This isn't the only right they've been denied. Like I've mentioned already, the children have lost their right to education, and they don't have any drinking water. Another very important thing I should mention is that the youngest child in this family is a baby who's only a few months old. I lost my wife and children who were the most important part of my life. In this war I hope to die. Yes, death. There is no life without a wife, without children, without a family. Health disaster

I wandered around Deir al-Balah market to buy some of the needs that my wife requested, which were cleaning supplies: dishwashing liquid, shampoo, soap, chlorine, washing up liquid, scented tissue paper, a broom, a wipe, a cleaning cloth, a mop, and a plastic bag.

After many hours of searching in the market, I found these items at one of the sellers. I asked him about the prices. He told me astronomical numbers, terrifying prices. The price was 20 times the real price. I had to leave immediately, as I could barely afford food and daily expenses.

I asked one of the merchants why, and he replied that the occupation has prevented the introduction of detergents into the Gaza Strip for a long time, which led to them running out of markets.

Because of this, we were forced to use alternatives, including scouring cooking utensils with sand, or hand-made materials, which are very poor and not suitable for this, as the environment is not clean.

The tents are set up on sand, and the temperature in the tents is high and causes sweating, and the surroundings around the tents are not clean because it is impossible to transport waste. On top of this, water is scarce. As a result, all members of my family developed various skin diseases, which exacerbated our suffering, and we began searching for a cure for these diseases.

As you reading my message, myself and my family, “my mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,” are trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to fear, instability, and starvation, thirst, and poverty in northern G@za.

Since 389 days until now, We haven't had a single piece of fruit or even a single vegetable! For more than a year we have been living without any kind of meat, chicken or fish, we live without healthy food or clean drink, one meal costs us more than $100 per person after prices increased by 20-25 times, can you imagine the severe malnutrition we suffer from?
