I wandered around Deir al-Balah market to buy some of the needs that my wife requested, which were cleaning supplies: dishwashing liquid, shampoo, soap, chlorine, washing up liquid, scented tissue paper, a broom, a wipe, a cleaning cloth, a mop, and a plastic bag.

After many hours of searching in the market, I found these items at one of the sellers. I asked him about the prices. He told me astronomical numbers, terrifying prices. The price was 20 times the real price. I had to leave immediately, as I could barely afford food and daily expenses.

I asked one of the merchants why, and he replied that the occupation has prevented the introduction of detergents into the Gaza Strip for a long time, which led to them running out of markets.

Because of this, we were forced to use alternatives, including scouring cooking utensils with sand, or hand-made materials, which are very poor and not suitable for this, as the environment is not clean.

The tents are set up on sand, and the temperature in the tents is high and causes sweating, and the surroundings around the tents are not clean because it is impossible to transport waste. On top of this, water is scarce. As a result, all members of my family developed various skin diseases, which exacerbated our suffering, and we began searching for a cure for these diseases.

This is Rania Yousef, (@raniayousef1999) a 25-year-old girl who is trying to collect funds to support what is left of her family. Famine, bombs, artillery and disease threaten their livelihoods every second.

This drawing below is among her many drawings based on the destruction she witnesses in Gaza Strip.

It depicts the horrific aftermath of the besieging of Al-Shifa Hospital by the occupation forces. She embodied this in a drawing, as she and her family buried her father there after he was tragically killed.

I am Nevin Al-Sir, I live in Gaza, I am 27 years old, I used to work as an accountant in an accounting firm, I am married and have a child, I was also pregnant during the war, the war on Gaza, and when the evacuation order came from our area in Gaza, we fled through the corridor that the occupation lied to us about and the safe corridor was a disaster. We walked on foot, the longest distance I have ever walked in my life. I was displaced to a tent with the rest of my family, and it was very difficult, tiring and exhausting. Every time there was an evacuation in the southern areas, I was forced to evacuate again to a worse tent. Then I gave birth to my child in a field hospital because the hospitals were out of service.
