This night we composed again,
This night was special,
The moon showed us what it can do,
Changed its shape to a body of a human,
But they glowed and shined,
They were so much more than a human.
They were the moon,
They were a being higher than us,
This time they sang the song,
We were all happy.
The moon taught us a dance they made,
Hundreds of years ago,
We watched as they swayed,
As they moved their hands,
The way their dress glimmered and followed their every step.
Ove noći smo opet skladali,
Ova noć je bila posebna,
Mjesec nam je pokazao što može,
Promijenio svoj oblik u tijelo čovjeka,
Ali oni su žarili i sjali,
Bili su puno više od čovjeka.
Bili su mjesec,
Oni su bili biće više od nas,
Ovaj put su pjevali pjesmu,
Svi smo bili sretni.
Mjesec nas je naučio ples koji su napravili,
Prije nekoliko stotina godina,
Gledali smo kako se njišu,
Dok su pomicali ruke,
Način na koji im je haljina svjetlucala i pratila svaki njihov korak.

I made another one!
Like many people in Gaza, Ibrahim Mohammed and his family have lost more in a year than most people lose in a lifetime. Their home was bombed while the children were playing, injuring them, they no longer have access to education, Ibrahim lost his job and his car, family members have passed away... Ibrahim's elderly parents need operations as soon as possible, but they can't get them due to the lack of healthcare were they are. This isn't the only right they've been denied. Like I've mentioned already, the children have lost their right to education, and they don't have any drinking water. Another very important thing I should mention is that the youngest child in this family is a baby who's only a few months old. Winter is coming and they need financial aid, they are very low on funds. If you can, please donate. If you can't, then please share their campaign.
Samah Aburakhia is Ibrahim's sister in Canada. Here are some more accounts owned by members of the family: @salamamohammedr and @moatazmohammedr. If you know of any others please let me know.
This campaign has been vetted by @gaza-evacuation-funds. Thank you for reading!
Trying a new tactic with the fundraisers on my pinned list. These campaigns appear to gain a lot more traction when the number of donations hits a thousand, so here's a way to highlight those that could use more. These have all been vetted by Palestinians on Tumblr. Just like the main list, I'll keep you all updated with how things progress, and as always, if you can't donate, reblog.

I am Nevin Al-Sir, I live in Gaza, I am 27 years old, I used to work as an accountant in an accounting firm, I am married and have a child, I was also pregnant during the war, the war on Gaza, and when the evacuation order came from our area in Gaza, we fled through the corridor that the occupation lied to us about and the safe corridor was a disaster. We walked on foot, the longest distance I have ever walked in my life. I was displaced to a tent with the rest of my family, and it was very difficult, tiring and exhausting. Every time there was an evacuation in the southern areas, I was forced to evacuate again to a worse tent. Then I gave birth to my child in a field hospital because the hospitals were out of service. I gave birth to my son in the winter, the cold and the war together, which did not destroy my house and my tent. Now we live in a tent, me, my mother, my father, my husband, my brothers, my sisters and their children, and I need your support to try to survive.

I made my way with life to make my future. I graduated from Al-Azhar University. I studied business administration, and I was not lucky enough to join a job, not in a government or private institution. I decided to do a project, so I succeeded with the satisfaction of God, and I had a factory that produced brick stones. After October 7, it was bombed with spiteful rockets by the occupation, and we were displaced from my house, and my brothers and son were martyred, and all our dreams were destroyed. Just what I want is that my life continues, generous in this war, and I will survive the rest of my children.
In a forgotten neighborhood, amid the echoes of war and small dreams that refuse to break, lives Mohammad with his wife and their two little children—Reema, just six months old, and Imad, three years old. Despite the hardship of their circumstances, Mohammad fights every day to provide his small family with hope, filling his children’s hearts with love.
Reema was born to the sounds of explosions and burning skies, as if her arrival was a message of hope and resilience. She is a flower that bloomed in an atmosphere lacking safety. And Imad, though so young, sees his father as a hero, clinging to hope amidst every cry of pain.
Every day brings a new challenge for Mohammad, from finding a simple meal to feed his family, to his desperate efforts to secure diapers and milk for Reema, who deserves a quiet life, free from the world’s pain. Yet Mohammad asks for so little—only a safe home, enough food to feed his children, and warmth that his little ones deserve.
Dear friend, your help could make a big difference for this family that battles in silence. Your kind hands could be their lifeline, opening a window of hope for them, where they can live a childhood of dignity, free from pain and fear.

Hi! Please don't vote without sharing‼️
This is Ahmed (@zinaanqar), who I've been talking with for a little while now. Who's been incredibly dedicated in reaching out to you all for help to save his family and promote their campaign. Ahmed is 34 years old and lives in Gaza with his wife Dina, who is 36, and their children: Zeina (8 years old), Eileen (7 years old), Yamen (5 years old), and baby Ronza (only 4 months old). Imagine if it were your own family member, friend, or child who should be enjoying school or playing with friends, but instead spend they're time hiding from bombs and relying on the kindness of strangers to survive. This family has been suffering for more than a year due to the relentless siege and devastation and we are their only chance to find safety and hope for a better future. Please help by sharing their campaign and spreading the word. Right now (10/22/24) their campaign is at €66,413 of their €75,000 goal leaving them with €8,587 left to raise!

Never forget that Palestinians are not numbers on a list of deaths. Please think of each of them, think of their names and faces and know that you can help them. I think of them everyday. I think of the hopes and dreams they should be able to achieve. I think of their education, their future, and the love they show when they work hard everyday to get help. You may feel powerless to stop this genocide, but you do have the power to save Ahmed and his family. Even the smallest donations go a long way and it's important to remember that.

I am currently working on a thesis focused on the art and culture of Gaza, a topic that is deeply meaningful to me. However, the loss of loved ones has irreversibly impacted my life, adding a personal pain to the already overwhelming challenges imposed by this difficult situation.
Every EURO can help my family 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Every REBLOG can help my family🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Every month, I face the responsibility of repaying part of this debt, while financially supporting my family, who were already facing financial difficulties before the conflict, and covering my basic expenses here in France.
Despite my efforts to juggle work and studies, the load is becoming too heavy. This path, which I cherished so much, seems to be slipping away. Yet, I hold on to the hope of one day finding the peace to learn and advance in my research, a hope I nurture thanks to your possible support.
