Our boy, Jiggy, is straight-up not having a good time. LATE AFTER DISMISSAL, AT THE LOBBY: LXC: *vibrating on the spot, close to blacking out since he is within a meter of away of his crush, JC. Literally sparkles in the setting sun* JC: *turns away, blushing furiously and trying to not combust since he is ALSO within a meter away of his crush, LXC. JGY: *not vibing. AT ALL. He is this close to committing homicide.*
(I used haik*y*uu for references) Ok, I stopped being lazy and drew more of my highschool AU wherein JC is a junior and a member of the volleyball varsity, and LXC is a senior and the Student Council President. Just click my tumblr’s highschool au tag hehehe
Sort of practice using thinner liner, but ended up having so much fun in drawing SenGen in Band!AU again after a while! ^^
They’re caught by some fans in train ;w;
(except its the princess mononoke art meme)
Interesting how the other canon couples have a scene where they finish each others sentences
Including byler
And yet…
(Sha’s Note: This is an AU that is made purely from my own brain fart, and I drew some inspirations from Chinese concepts – I am very sorry for the utter bastardization (シ_ _)シ )
FATE is an abstract notion that guides the cosmos and the world. It is the way and compulsion of everything, and the transpiring of circumstances.
There are deities who can hazily see into it’s countless paths; there are deities who can divine a possible outcome and pinpoint the one which would most likely happen; but no being, divine nor mortal can control it. Fate only strives to maintain equilibrium in the world, no matter how convoluted the way and the path taken to achieve it is. Whatever happens, happens.
At the very least, Fate is the “Point A” and the “Point Z”, it does not dictate on how agents would do it, not when, and not who would make it happen; only that this will happen. Deities have the choice on how they would react but they do not have the choice to abandon their respective Fated Duties. Fate normally send whispers, signs (i.e. fate marks), and visions to every deity to guide them to do their true duties.
FATE MARKS:
Lan Huan is the Day Incarnate who bears the Sun, and Jiang Cheng is the Night Incarnate who bears the Moon.
Lan Huan and Jiang Cheng met as children, as their parents pushed them to meet. Their fate marks are speculated to be equal and opposite of the other. Thus they are very possible candidates to be each other’s Fated Ones.
Above: Lan Huan and Jiang Cheng are in the Heavenly Pavilion, an expanse surrounding the world, that is forever suspended in twilight with thick rose clouds. It is only accessible to the two incarnates as there is an unbreakable barrier that only recognizes their Divine Essence. The two, only mere children, are cultivating the sun and moon to make it grow in time to the Fated Day that they will formally start their Fated Duty of exchanging the sun and moon. (More on their Fated Duties soon) One can only have a distinct feeling on what their fate marks were for. Fate would often cryptically whisper, send blurred visions and provide instinct on what a deity’s duty is. Fated Pairs would often feel drawn to one another and they would receive flashes of visions of each other.
Above: Their Corporeal (or Mortal) Form before the Great Fire Primordial War and before their Divine Trial. (More on Deity Anatomy, on Divine Trials, and on the Great Fire Primordial War soon!) Lan Huan, at his coming of age, was given the courtesy name of “Xichen” which means “Chancellor of the Morning Sun” to officially accept the Title of Incarnate. Jiang Cheng, at his coming of age, was given the courtesy name of “Wanyin” which means “To Chant/Sing at Night” to officially accept the Title of Incarnate.
Lan Huan has to wait for Jiang Cheng to also be of Age before officially doing their duties as the bearers of the Sun and Moon. Their first time to do it had Jiang Cheng sweating buckets– he was so afraid at the prospect of messing it up. Lan Huan is exceptional in creating clouds as he has great divine control. He mastered the delicate nature of making clouds, as it is mostly condensed water vapor, and forming it requires patience, gentleness and softness. Lan Huan mostly likes to keep his clouds near his collar so he can lean and nuzzle his head on its cottony softness. (I am so sorry, everyone, LXC looks like a fucking Altaria HAHAHAHA)
Meanwhile, Jiang Cheng is very exceptional in star making because it requires focus and endurance to keep stars twinkling. (Name me a more focused and enduring MDZS character than JC, I dare you.) He is very self-conscious on how mediocre his cloud making is, and he always asks his Huan-ge to train him – he does not have enough energy to maintain patience when cloud forming, so he usually can only manage thick wisps by his feet.
It is actually difficult to maintain the reflection of their skies, it is a form of training their Divine Essence to become more potent and powerful. It is much more difficult in Jiang Cheng’s case, since he has to also maintain the million little stars, swirling galaxies, and other heavenly bodies in projecting the reflection.
Reflecting the requires straining effort and constant divided attention, the more detailed the reflection is, the more the effort it takes to maintain it. The strain of maintaining it caused many extreme headaches for Jiang Cheng, which is one of the reasons on why he is grumpy most of the time and why he limits it to using his shirt or else he will really get migraines and he’ll really break someone’s legs.
hes a luxury guys. appreciate him.
I just want to point out that it is absolutely WILD of the donghua to portray this as NMJ telling Meng Yao to go turn himself in and then… turning his back and starting to leave, clearly not intending on making sure he complies. Meaning that Meng Yao then stabbing himself can only be motivated by wanting NMJ to hold him and demonstrate that he doesn’t want him to die.
Richie: I have a joke!
Eddie, sighing: Okay.
Richie: Knock knock!
Eddie, warry: Who's there?
Richie: Marry.
Eddie: Marry who?
Richie, getting down on one knee: Marry me
Eddie, tearing up: You motherfucker.

I don't understand why people question if Sasuke likes Naruto, romantically speaking. I think Sasuke is so much more clearer than Naruto about the depth of his emotions. He has stated multiple times that Naruto is the only thing capable of making him lose sight of his goals. If Naruto showed up for long enough, Sasuke absolutely will stop and drop everything. He's admitted to this.
Itachi emphasized that he needs to kill someone precious to him in order to activate his Mangekyou Sharingan, and Sasuke didn't even hesitate before thinking about Naruto. No one else was even in consideration.
His biggest weakness, and the only person who he has made clear has acknowledged him, is Naruto like this is text. He's not chasing Naruto, but that's because he loves him so damn much he needs to run away from it.
With Naruto, there's a lot of duty to the village and perhaps some obligation and guilt associated with the time Sasuke nearly died for him. The story paints it as if Naruto is chasing Sasuke due to his promise to Sakura(he wasn't). But there's more factors obscuring the reasons for Naruto's determination than for Sasuke. Naruto says "for the village, to save my friend, for a promise", etc.
Sasuke explicitly says "I have to kill you because you're the only thing that is precious to me and I can't have that because you weaken me".
