AU where Aventurine is a criminal, and Ratio has been in charge of his case for years. So, his higher-ups assign his case to another detective since Ratio hasn't been getting the satisfactory results they were hoping for. Ever since, Aventurine has been leaving his crime scenes completely clean of any evidence, with only a few poker cards written "Bring him back.", "Oops! This evidence is not yours to see~" and the occasional "Fuck you, you're not the doc." when he is in a particularly bad mood.

Ratio Hates to admit he's kind of flattered when he hears about it.
