Yeah, a lot of Cobra Kai subredditors are absolutely shitty about Mary. Rhonda and Mr. M

I'm rewatching the first season of School Spirits before I watch the second season, and I just realized how much Mr. M is grooming Rhonda. Like, when I first watched it I thought he was just manipulating her like he was with everyone else. But watching the second time and thinking about her story and how she thought the guidance counselor was just super caring and she was groomed by him before she died, watching her go through something similar with Mr. M is kind of sad. He's singled her out as special the same way the guidance counselor did, and is using emotional fear tactics to get her to stay in line.
