One of the biggest issues of moving to England as a person who is Ukrainian AND neurodivergent is not knowing how to answer the small talk question of "how are you", but today I was reminded that Ukrainian blessed me with the phrase that roughly translates as "living is hard but dying would be a pity" and can we please naturalise it so I can use it all day every day

The Finnish horse was the most valuable animal to ancient Finns. They are sturdy and very versatile which made them extremely useful. A person's horse was said to be the measure of their worth, and there are several songs and spells to protect the horses against dangers and threats.

Concept (That I Will Write Someday): Shmi Skywalker is the Chosen One. But she works out her destiny not for the sake of the Republic but because DARN IT ALL there's going to be a war and this is not why she sent her son away with the Jedi! Cue Shmi and the Lars fam wreaking havoc on all of Palpatine's plans while they go after Anakin, following the guidance of Ar-Amu, an eldritch Force being who took a liking for both Tatooine and Shmi and who has no concept of a normal sentient interaction.
