Mc Kendry at Gorry Gallery

I attended the packed opening of Kenny Mc Kendry' exhibition 'Rathlin, Portrait of an Island and Other Works' at the Gorry Gallery, 20 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2. Kenny's paintings had a lovely sense of light in them. Many if them seemed to glow especially the seascapes. His portraits had plenty of personality. The faces well observed. His exhibition will run until 11th Apr 2025.

Oliver Sears Gallery

Last night, I attended the opening of Claire Curneen and Keith Wilson’s joint exhibition at the Oliver Sears Gallery, 29 Molesworth St, Dub 2.. It was worth the effort. Loved Claire’s piece called ‘Rain’ and admired Keith’series of 30 small paintings  ‘Where The Light Falls’. Met both artists. They were very nice. Their exhibition will run until 3rd May. Classy.    

Tom Climent at Solomin

Tonight, I attended the opening of Tom Climent's exhibition 'Pilgrim' at Solomon Fine Art, Balfe St., Dub 2 D02 T802. The opening was lively and well attended. Most of Tom's paintings sold.

I particularly liked the translucent and shimmering quality of his use of color in his paintings. Tom's exhibition will run until 25th May 2024.

Nick Munier at Framexperts

Last Friday night, I attended the opening of Nick Munier’s exhibition called ‘Vacation’ at Framesperts, 18a Ranelagh, Dublin 6.  His paintings were full of colour and exuded a sense of celebration. The atmosphere at the opening was relaxed with many people coming and going.  However, I have to let your know that Nick’s exhibition has ended.    Classy. 

Morrisson at Solomon

Tonight, I attended the opening of Maggie Morrisson's exhibition, Atricity at Solomon Fine Art, 2 Balfe Street, Dublin 2, next to the Westbury Hotel. The Venue was packed. Everyone was chatting. There was plenty of people to meet.

Maggie's paintings were painted in beautiful purples, pinks and yellows. They all looked summery and cheerful. Their subject matter were mainly flowers and landscapes painted in a semi abstract style. Maggie's exhibition will continue until the 20th July 2024. It is well worth seeing.
