Watching Stanzi Potenza tiktoks and getting pummeled by the line "if that's a hard pill to swallow, snort it instead" in a skit about mfing groundhog day. Adding that one to the list
I love animals that look like stupid little guys. Just completely brainless. My favorite
Wow what a beautiful baby idiot
Just got officially labelled as moderately to severely disabled. I'm in high school. It's been a rough several years of "You SHOULD be able to"
Shout out to the ten year old who just got diagnosed. Shout out to the housebound fourteen year old. Shout out to the eighteen year old who can’t go to the university they wanted. Shout out to the twenty two year old who can’t get a job. Shout out to the twenty six year old with a caretaker. Shout out to the thirty year old who can’t buy their own house.
Shout out to young disabled people. We exist.
Living in a bad area is wild y'all I just heard some people yelling then gunshots across the street and now it's dead quiet out there. Some dude might be bleeding out on the sidewalk but I sure as hell ain't walking out there.
Looking at jewish content around my antisemitic family makes me so anxious I feel like I'm gonna throw up, and I realized that jewish people just. Exist like that. All the time.
I am becoming convinced that able-bodied people do not actually know what experiencing pain is like based on the way they talk about it.
To me, developing chronic pain gave me this moment where I was like, "Oh, this is what being in pain is ACTUALLY like. I am 24, and I have to learn how to be in pain." Sure, I've had twisted ankles, I broke my arm, I've had the flu. Temporary pain hurts and is valid, but you don't learn how to actually be in pain until you are in it all the time. It's a hard lesson to learn.
If you, a teacher, are not willing to work with disabled students (especially if you have help from a sped teacher), you should not be a teacher.
It's funny bc I love scrolling past these but if I stop and look at it. Then the Fear begins. :D

One of the things I like to do because I'm an absolute heathen with no regard for the rules of society is getting into fandoms without literally ever consuming the source material. It's loads of fun and pisses a lot of people off without even doing anything.
I woke up with a migraine this morning. My sister's dog, a retired service animal, will NOT let me alone. It's been five years, and he is still the goodest of boys.
