Idk what or why this is exactly...I would love to write this as a fic, too...but idk how interested anyone would be in that XD

the doctor's relationship with clara mesmerizes me, to be completely frank. like wdym you split yourself in his time stream so there was no version of him throughout his immortal life that didn't coexist with a version of you that would die when the moment arose in order to save him. wdym you consider her the only mystery worth solving and your fixation on her to be the thing that saved you from wasting away in victorian london out of grief, renouncing every vow and principle you've upheld as the basis for your entire identity. wdym you believe in him so strongly that the fervency of your faith is a shackle clasped around both of your ankles, but you don't even care because your hand is in his and you know he will save you from this. wdym you're slowly becoming agonizingly aware that she's become as reckless with her life as you are with yours in her desperation to become like you and it's killing you because there is no one like you for good reason (there is only the master, but that's a completely separate ballpark); you know every relationship you have ever started has a grave marker staked in it from the moment of its conception but you thought you'd have longer than this. you need her, you need her, you need her. you'll walk through hell for however long it takes to get her back and you will not regret even a single moment of it. like wdym by that
