Hey btw, here's a piece of life advice:

If you know what you'd have to do to solve a problem, but you just don't want to do it, your main problem isn't the problem itself. Your problem is figuring out how to get yourself to do the solution.

If your problem is not eating enough vegetables, the problem you should be solving is "how do I make vegetables stop being yucky". If your problem is not getting enough exercise, the problem you should be solving is "how do I make exercise stop sucking ass". You're not supposed to just be doing things that are awful and suck all the time forever, you're supposed to figure out how to make it stop being so awful all the time.

I used to hate wearing sunscreen because it's sticky and slimy and disgusting and it feels bad and it smells bad, so I neglected to wear it even if I needed to. Then I found one that isn't like that, and doesn't smell and feel gross. Problem solved.

There is no correct way to live that's just supposed to suck and feel bad all the time. You're allowed to figure out how to make it not suck so bad.

I mean this in the most loving way possible, Pangur is built like a cryptid.

The Black Mages

The Black Mages are a nomadic race who dedicate their time and magical powers to helping those in need as well as honouring the magical forces of their world. Their culture believes they were favoured by the eidolons due to their unwavering devotion to them in eons past, and they were rewarded with incredible mastery over black magic.

They are incredibly compassionate and generous people; many mages have settled in towns or cities in order to set up schools of magic, so that they can share their knowledge.

The term 'Black Mage' isn't how they call themselves, but they accept it. In their own language, their name would translate roughly as 'enlightened family'.

They're easily recognisable by their full-body coverings; their clothes are always jet black, and only their glowing yellow eyes stand out (many night-time travellers have had a fright with passing Black Mages, where it appears their glowing eyes are disembodied and floating through the darkness). However, if they turn quickly or open their robes, any onlooker will be mesmerised by the incredibly bright fabrics and patterns that line the inside. The contrast with their black garments is such that the colours appear to glow intensely. It could also possibly be due to magic, as it is so integrated in every aspect of their lives that even their clothes are imbued with it.
