I went back into the cave To have my peace and quiet while transforming Although I had mastered it pretty well I still needed all the focus I had
It was risky to do this outside I'd be completely unprotected for the whole time and someone could see me transforming There was no way I'd take that risk
A few days later I was back looking like me again Dammit, again those scars from wounds I never had They were everywhere, on my arms, my legs, my chest I do have a few scars that genuinely are 'mine' who I got by myself, from being careless around the forge I paid well for those unwary moments, a large burn on my left arm and smaller ones on my right Naturally some on my hands too, but those are rather usual After I was done in the cave, I went to the pond to wash the clothes I got from that old man Wonder if anyone found that guy
I went back to the cave, put the wet clothes on a flat rock then I gathered a few stones, put them in a circle and stacked the firewood inside I got the fire going with some dry grass and Flintstones and went into the cave to get the meat I had cut up Hope it isn't spoiled yet

Horoathea Mass of Aegorath
I dreamt of the Attack again. The screams, the smell, it was all there. I just stood at the edge of the forest. Looking at the sea of flames. But still I heard the screams like I was standing right there. Smelled the burning flesh as if it was my own.
In the middle of it, were the screams of my mother. Those screams filled with pain & agony. Although they were mixed with all those other screaming people, you could hear her pain clearly.
I wanted to run into the forest, to make it stop, but I couldn't move. I was frozen in place. And then I saw a light moving away from the village. Towards me. As it came closer I saw who it was. It was that guy who set my mother on fire. He grinned at me from a distance & shouted 'All Hail the King!'

I snapped out of it I was back again. On the hard, cold ground of the forest.
'How did you do that? What are you? Where are you?'
Nothing. Not a single word. First then, as I listened closely, I noticed all the sounds around me. A crack here, a bird there. Then, a crackle. It came from a bush a few paces in front of me. I didn't know if I should run away or go to it, so I just sat there. Staring at it.
It was just a beaver. It looked at me shortly and then turned around and ran away.
Wait... a Beaver. That means there's a body of water near. I'm sure it'll return to it sooner or later. I went the direction the beaver disappeared into but there was no trace of it. I just continued in the general direction.

Winterfell
No, it wasn't that she didn't believe. She was unsure if the huntsman lied or not. And I didn't blame her for it, neither do I blame her for it now. She couldn't have known what is true and what is a lie. Even I wasn't completely sure of it at that time.
It would explain a few things. Like what IT meant by 'having control' But what reason could IT have to feed from a dead deer ---wait. Feeding. Exactly. I was starving out there. Does that mean it needs me to survive?
This was the first time after Martin found me that I was completely lost in thought again. Just beeing held in that town by Ruth's firm grip. I was staring far far away.

Heartbeat
I stretched down. Slowly. To not startle it.
The tree gave off a creak. Shit, I'm too heavy. I need to get the pace up a bit.
The deer looked around immediately, staying like that for a moment. Turning its ears around. But it relaxed again and continued grazing.
I hung motionless for that time, holding my breath. Even when it had already relaxed again. But I continued, stretched myself further and further. Suddenly, a drop of blood. I saw it right in front of me, falling down, slowly. My heart stopped as I saw it. Oh shit The drop landed on the deers head.
To this day I am unsure how long, or rather short, that moment actually was. In my eyes it looked like it took an eternity. But as I look back on it, the deer wasn't even able to react to the blood of drop before I had sliced it in two. I didn't expect my claws to be that sharp, but it was nearly like I just sliced through nothing. Like I sliced through the air. There was no resistance in the deers body at all. Before I knew it I was down on the ground. Standing in between two halves of a deer. I looked at both of them. Besides of other fluids, blood was flooding out like there was no tomorrow. But the deer, it was still alive. At least the half with a head. It all went so fast, it didn't notice that it died.
I bit off its head, to stop the suffering. Even though I'm a monster, an abomination, I'm a merciful hunter. There's no need for suffering, at least if I'm able to end it.

I waited in the bush
Maybe he didn't notice me but just heard a sound here
He came closer, about a dozen paces in front of me he began growling.
Hê såw yøü hahaha
I know. Shut up. What now? Run or... don't run...? run or not...? run or not...!?
The hound was just a few more steps from me, I had to decide... NOW!
Run!
I swiftly turned around inside that bush and began running as quick as I could
Is it at all worth to try running? Guessing from the guy on the horse this hound is trained for hunting, such a large one probably for deer or stags, I can't outrun him. Gotta outwit the dog somehow.
I ran for my life, not looking back once. I heard the hound still running after me, and I think I heard some hooves a bit further back too. I tried focusing entirely on running, to not stumble over roots or similar, but I felt that I didn't have any chance to outrun him, I really had to outwit him somehow.
Outwit a hound... outwit a hound... come on, I need some good ideas now
I tried looking around while running, but no ideas came up, just trees everywhere, and this quite shallow beck that the hound would just run over like I'd do.

I found a flint and iron, neatly bound together with a piece of thin rope, a small whetstone and some dried flesh in the pockets of that guy. His bow looked fine too, and it also was stronger than mine, so I took it. Arrows included naturally. I hadn't looked what Lord half'n'half had with him yet, but that guy definitely seemed to be the better prepared, and probably more skilled, hunter of the two.
Naturally there was blood on all of his stuff. Have to wash that off later, at least as good as possible.
But more importantly... I turned my attention towards the horse again.
I cut out a few chunks of meat and inspected them closely. Doesn't look foul... doesn't smell foul... nothing moving inside... Guess it's all good then
I went a bit away from the site. Altho I was eating chunks from that horse, and I guess it wasn't hard to see that someone had cut chunks out of that horse, I didn't really want to be seen there.
I made a fire and roasted the meat on it.
Ok, lesson learned, no more drowsy excuses for not sleeping up in a tree. That there could have ended seriously badly... or it would have if...
Hey! You awake? Why'd you get me out of that mess?

Helos
He opened the door. I walked in behind him.
'Martin, where 'ave ya been?'
'Met th' wee un on th' way'
'Wee wahn?'
I came forth from behind Martin. I saw in her eyes that she was exactly like him, only wanted to protect the people dear to her. And it seemed like I just became one of those people.
'Wot 'appened ter ya lil' wahn?' She came down and hugged me tightly. I didn't resist, it felt like paradise. I wanted that moment never to end. This warm, sincere hug. Like the one from a worried mother.
Then, still hugging me, she looked at Martin. 'Ya think...'
'Aye, ah think he cam fae that toun'

' 'tis 'im! Guards! Guards! Capture dis monster!' All people stopped up immediately, and all gazed upon wich the man was pointing.
Me.
Two guards came. Both with there sword drawn, but as they noticed there was no danger, they sheated them again. 'What's happenen eya?' One of the guards asked
'Dis fel -- tin' dare, it ate me game.'
'Coost be a bit mower specific? Yom a hunter, many people ate the mate yaouw bren. That is naaa crime'

The guards looked at each other. They had to hold back their laughter 'Is that the same kind of story loike that 'un with the three-headed elk yaouw met?'
The man was baffled 'Naw! listen ter me-'
The guards nearly pissed themselves from laughing 'It's alrooight, we'll let yaouw get awoy with this unneeded call fer help since yaouw gave us a bostin loff.'

Dark Cave Ambiance
Back in my dreams. As always he was standing right beside me; waiting, laughing, provocating.
But this time I was ready, I knew what to do.
Again he did the first hit, a stiff right. As usual. Blocked.
Ok, now turn. In that moment I realised something, but I didn't even have time to think it.
I woke up
''Damn that bastard!
Wait, calm down. This was your own fault.''
I had totally forgotten how I turn my eyes. I knew how to, but couldn't recall the steps. It had become automated.
Like breathing.
So I stayed awake. Sitting in my cave, remembering how I turn my eyes, trying to apply that principle to my arm.
But it was exhausting. By far more than turning my eyes,
I could feel this 'energy' stream trough my arm, but it wasn't enough.
I'm unsure how long it took exactly, sitting in the darkness of that cave the whole time. But after what probably was a dozen days or so I finally did it.
I turned my right arm back to normal. Only the lower part but now I knew how to do it.

I'm a guy from Norway, 96 model. But enough about me, on this blog you'll mostly find stuff about Bjorn. Maybe I'll add a few short stories of other characters too after a while but for now it's Bjorn.
