unless they specifically asked, you don’t get to tell a fanfic writer you think they mischaracterized the character by the way. because the second someone writes a fanfic about a character, that character becomes the writer’s own version of the character. canon is only a suggestion, but whether or not an author will follow it / how much of canon an author will take is entirely up to them. you don’t get to stick your nose in their world and tell them “hey this is not to my liking therefore I think you’re doing it wrong” when you can simply leave quietly and move on to something else you may enjoy
You're so easy to dream with 💫✨
Sex is good and all, but have you guys ever had a fic update while you were re-reading it?
Snuggly Sanuso cuddles to cure what ails you 🤧💕✨
the way I've had this exact thought before just means it must be good and reasonable.
sanuso but sanji feels like a home wrecker because he knows usopp has a girl back at home. except kaya is all like “as long as you share” bc she knows usopp is just too cute and amazing and funny and wonderful that it’s impossible to not romance him
Local production :)
SanUso but in a "never meant to be" type of way because i love pain
I'm talking: Sanji allowing himself to feel on a far too romantic night on the merry, looking at the stars with Usopp. After a long day or night in which he felt the connection between them flourish.
"Do you think we are soulmates in every universe?" He would ask, with a hopeful spark in his eye.
"I don't think we are even in this one" Usopp would pull himself back, awkwardly stepping further from his crew mate - trying to laugh it off.
I'M TALKING ABOUT -
Sanji not knowing why he hated a girl he'd never met. Or why it was the specific one Usopp never stopped talking about. How could he ever feel something so ugly towards a lady, but there he was - frowning because he heard "Kaya" in Usopp's mouth again.
And Usopp getting sad every time Sanji threw himself in the arms of another unwilling woman. At first he had perhaps secondhand embarrassment, maybe pity or jealous of his boldness. In any case, he wouldn't like thinking about it, finding it would be best if he just distanced himself from Sanji all together.
or like,
even after they achieved their dreams, maybe even parted ways, they both felt they needed something. Sanji proposed a hug goodbye, but it only made the void between them grow. Usopp could feel he wanted something but dwelling on it too much would make the pit of regrets crumble on him. Sanji just tried to convince himself he was over it.
