It seemed like an eternity, though it was only a minute while Midoriya processed what had been said, his mouth still hanging open.
“You think that All Might is my dad?” he asked, “and you’re gonna tell everyone that I’m his son?”
“Yes, and yes. Problem?”
“I don’t know where you get your information, but you are dead wrong. He's not my dad” Midoriya said with a nervous chuckle. Heat was surging up his face that had nothing to do with the fact the villains were all looking at him knowingly. It was just hot in here, that’s all.
“You can't lie to us.” Bad touch man smiled.
“I... but... you... HE’S NOT MY DAD!!!” Izuku snapped.
“You got your power from All Might, didn’t you,” Bakugo said softly. He stared at Midoriya as if daring him to challenge what he said.
Midoriya blinked at him. So, this was what Bakugo had wanted to talk about. It seemed stupid for them to come all the way out here. The two of them stood in ground beta in the dead of night, past curfew. If Midoriya had known that this was what it was about, he wouldn’t have come at all.
Too late now.
Bakugo stood in the field staring at his opponent. Uraraka. She looked at him with a hard face, one that he had only seen when she was looking at Izuku.
“Alright Uraraka, I am not going to hold back,” Bakugo said, stretching his arms to release any tension that might have crept upon him.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Uraraka said determinedly, “Backing down is not an option here!”
At the sound of “START!” Uraraka charged at him, hands wide as she readied to use her quirk on him. Bakugo stood still, waiting for her to come closer. He drew his hand back and a medium-sized explosion boomed, filling the air around them with smoke.
With the smuggest look on her face, Mina watched as Midoriya was startled again and again, by uraraka popping up and trying to talk to him. He would run away or yell at her to mind her own business, but it was to no avail. The round-face girl would not be deterred.
To be honest, the whole thing was Mina’s idea. She wanted revenge on Midoriya for beating her again and again at Mario cart. With sneakiness, she convinced everyone that Uraraka should try to hang out with Midoriya. It was pure dumb luck, Uraraka had agreed and the rest was history, very entertaining history.
preview of my work :)
Bakugo nervously walked towards his classroom for the very first time. With any luck, Izuku wouldn’t be in his class, and they would never see each other again. It was a shame that he never had good luck. He peeked his head in cautiously and surveyed the room, cringing when he saw a familiar mop of green hair.
Izuku was sitting with his feet on top of his desk and was getting reprimanded by a stiff-looking boy with blue-ish hair and glasses.
“You are disrespecting school property,” the bespectacled boy said, chopping his arm in the air as if to make a point. Izuku was looking at him with a frown. Bakugo sighed. If he tried hard enough, then he could sneak to a seat before Izuku noticed his presence. he would get a few moments of peace until the teacher did roll call.
Ever since the camping incident, Bakugo had been feeling confused, bewildered, a little angry, confuzzled, tricked, fooled, bamboozled, and unhinged. Things just weren’t making sense to him. It was like he had woken up that morning to find that his dad had an anger problem and his mother had become the sweetest creature on earth. Or gravity had shifted so that he could walk on the ceiling.
Why had Izuku saved him? It didn’t make sense. Midoriya didn’t even like him, didn’t even acknowledge his presence when they were standing in the same room. Sure, Midoriya had saved him before, but that was different. This time he was inviting himself to a world of pain. Bakugo had been scared, but if he could do it all over again, he would have had Midoriya stay. The kid had broken arms for goodness' sake.
chapter eight! the last chapter! aghhhhhhh!!!!!
Marinette was sitting on her roof again waiting for something. The wind swept by and made her shiver. She was hooded in a blanket as she looked at the night sky. It wasn’t like she was waiting for chat noir to show up or anything, she told herself. No, she was just taking a break from all her sewing things. She had been working on a cloak, but her fingers would not respond to her commands and caused her to mess up serval times. That gave her a reasonable excuse to take a break and sit out here and let her thoughts wander.
Have you read multi-chapter fanfic and you kudos it cus it's good but then the author posts something that ruins it and you're all like "I need that kudos back, thanks"
I guess the thing is I have been betrayed by fanfics, and I wish I had the power to take my kudos back
“I am not All Might” Izuku snarled out.
“Well of course you’re no-” Endeavor started to say, but this time Midoriya cut him off.
“Right, of course, I’m not.” Izuku turned his head back so he could see Endeavor’s face and meet his eye, "And Todoroki isn't you!”
Endeavor glared at him, his flames whooshing again. Izuku glared back, daring the man to do something.
It had all started when Bakugo had gotten his quirk. Showing it off with a grin. Everyone praising him. It made sense that Izuku would be jealous. He was showing no signs of getting a quirk and soon it would be too late for one to manifest. He wanted to be praised too. He wanted to be a hero, just as much as Bakugo did. It wasn’t fair.
At first, Izuku had cried, wondering why he wouldn’t manifest his quirk. But his tears quickly turned to burning anger and simmering jealously. The world ignored the quirkless but Izuku didn’t want to be ignored.
