My first attempt at preparing Bessara, an Egyptian bean dip. I didn’t have the energy to fry extra crispy onions, so I just added some sundried tomatoes and olive oil. I made it particularly thick because I am used to making super thick hummus (so it doesn’t run out of the side of my sandwiches), but it will thin a bit when I mix in the olive oil before serving it.
