Group shot of our Lancer RPG MSMC crew. From left to right: Watcher, Shrike, Gemini, and Archmage. (Click to open full size) We named ourselves "The Angel Killers" at the end of our last (for now?) session. This crew has lived rent-free in my mind since we started playing.
I drew my friend @pomplanaki's main characters from her upcoming YA novel, "Journey to the Winterlands"! (Which FYI features adventure, friendship, and DINOSAURS, so you should definitely read it when it's out!) Top to bottom, left to right: Entilu, Aaro, Cori, and Saka.
Hello there, I am your Secret Santa for the Tolkien exchange!! I'm writing a fic for your gift, and I was hoping to write Aragorn/Arwen this year so when I saw them on your list of fav ships I was excited lol. One thing I enjoy doing is writing AUs, so I was wondering how you felt about an Aragorn/Arwen AU? I like doing modern AUs, or I was also testing a possible Regency-era AU, so those are on the table. But if you would prefer something set in Middle Earth that's chill too :) Just lmk!
Hello and thank you so much! I am incredibly excited for this gift (and getting to meet you.) I feel AWESOME about an Aragorn and Arwen AU! I’m particularly liking Regency-era - especially because I just finished re-watching the 1995 Pride and Prejudice - but modern AU would also be fun!Thank you again, you’re amazing <3
Why did Yen change her appearance?
What do you mean, Anon? Her reasons for undergoing the transformation in the show? Or, how it went in the book? Or something related to my drawing of Yen?
I haven’t had time to draw because of school, but here’s a dragon I drew for my dad’s team at work.
Vikram, part-demon bounty hunter, and Izorei, a fae on a recent rampage in the human realms, who doesn’t want to play ‘arrested’ anymore.
They were initially side characters in a fantasy series @savagegardenaesthetic and I are planning, but we liked them so much they’ll get their own book as a standalone in the same universe. (I attempted a background, which is unprecedented. I could be a changeling fae too, you don’t know)
I am honoured to be a part of Dates 3 with "The Wind and the White Horse". It's a story of self-discovery and adventure, which begins near the end of Great Old Bulgaria. The amazing Sunmi created beautiful illustrations for it! Check out the Kickstarter and support us!
Speeding trains, galloping horses, long nights in the woods. All the trappings of adventure are waiting for you in the third volume of Dates! An Anthology of Queer Historical Fiction!
We Kickstarted Dates 1 in 2015, and Dates 2 in 2017, and now we’re back for round 3! With over fifty contributors and more rip-roarin’ adventure than ever before, Dates 3 is 300+ pages packed with comics, illustrations, and prose. All the stories feature queer characters living their lives to the fullest, and—best of all—there are no tragic endings.
Check out the Kickstarter page for more information and previews—and to learn about all the cool rewards you can get for supporting the campaign! We’ll also be posting more process work right here on our blog and our facebook page, and you can follow our twitter for daily previews and creator features. And even if you aren’t able to back the campaign, a reblog or share can make a real difference!
Are you ready? It’s time for an adventure.
A sketch of me and @savagegardenaesthetic I’ve been working on
And now Watcher - my friend's Lancer RPG pilot (adoerksen89 on Instagram)! Watcher is one of the newest MSMC recruits, but that doesn't stop him from obliterating enemies in one shot from his giant, cheerfully painted mech. He's also a talented hacker!
The one on the right has a greenish yellowish background. The one to the right has a greyish purpleish background. The one to the right looks better to me. Probably because the colours look more vibrant.
Thank you, and everyone else who answered by mail or the IM system! Turns out, my old laptop’s display was improperly configured and everything I drew was greener and more saturated than I meant it to be.I’ve fixed up my art as much as it can be (replacing/reposting certain pieces - so if you want to see the real colours, browse through again) and will hopefully draw better as time goes by.
