The father, Ahmed, once a skilled mechanic, is now unable to work due to the destruction of his workshop and injuries he sustained in an airstrike. His wife, Fatima, works tirelessly at home, trying to take care of their children—Maha (8), Omar (5), and little Yasmine (2)—while also dealing with the stress of living in constant fear. Their home, which was once filled with laughter, is now a shelter of uncertainty.💔🙏
The Al-Masri family struggles to find enough food each day and has no access to clean drinking water.💔🙏 Ahmed's dreams of rebuilding his family’s life seem distant, but the love for his children keeps him going, and Fatima remains the pillar of strength for her family. A Family's Unending Journey for Safety in Gaza
My name is Mohammed, and I’m 35 years old, working as a nurse in a hospital here in Gaza. My wife, Diana, is 27, and together we’re trying to give our two young daughters a safe, stable life in a place that knows so little of either.
Our journey began in December 2023. That was when the military ordered us to evacuate our home in Al-Nuseirat. With only minutes to decide, we grabbed what we could carry, took our little girls, and moved to Khan Yunis, hoping it would be safer.
But our time there was short. We were ordered to leave Khan Yunis, so we packed up again and moved to Rafah. For a moment, we let ourselves hope that this would be the end of our running, that maybe we could start to rebuild. But Rafah wasn't safe either. Another order came, and we had no choice but to return to Al-Nuseirat, despite the dangers.
Today, we're renting a small apartment in Al-Nuseirat. It barely fits us, but it's the only place we can go. We live every day in fear, wondering if the next evacuation order will come. Each move takes away a bit more of the stability we try so hard to create for our girls. Every time we’re forced to flee, it feels like we leave behind pieces of the life we’ve worked to build.
There’s little left to hold on to but each other, and the hope that maybe one day we’ll finally find safety.

🚨 Help Save Shada’s Family and Baby Adam! 🚨
My name is Shada Kassab, and I am a 24-year-old mother living in Gaza. Every day is a fight for survival for me, my husband Hussein, and our baby boy Adam, who is just five months old.
Our lives have been turned upside down by war. My home has been reduced to rubble, and my husband lost his water truck, which was our only source of income. We’ve been forced to evacuate twice—from Deir el Balah to the Nuseirat camp—and now, we live in constant fear of what the future holds.
To make matters worse, Adam was born with clubfoot and urgently needs surgery. The cost for his treatment and specialized medical boots is at least $3000, but this surgery isn’t even possible in Gaza.
I recently graduated as a nurse, and I dream of building a better life for my family. But to do that, we must leave Gaza and start over in safety.
