" Drake, why are you looking at a civilian's family history "

"The adults are Midwestern villains their secret hero son may be my long lost twin and they also have a daughter but she's mostly fine by herself. We might need to overthrow an entire government branch though"

"Excuse, me"

" You're excused"

After chatting with Danny for a while and getting more information without it sounding like an interrogation also making sure he'll be fine for couple of hours I went digging for the rest of the day.

And oh boy you won't believe what I found.

The Fenton's are fucking wild, after breaking through several firewalls just for the town and then even more for their security I found out 'the haunting world' really means haunted like ghost haunted. These people are the definition of mad scientists proudly stating that they built a portal to another dimension in their basement, and judging by the floor plan right below where Danny sleeps, said portal was letting dangerous ghosts out onto the city, but not all of the ghost are like that though.

The 'echoscientist' are heavily biased when it comes to ghost stating that they are 'nonsenseient' and 'don't feel pain' that they need to be a 'contained' 'experimented on' or even 'eradicated'' which is bullshit and horrifying. It's pretty obvious that there are several neutral and even some good ghosts appearing, most noteworthy being Phantom the hero of Amity Park (I know that majority is painting him as a villain but that is so far from the truth! there is an hour long video of him playing with children at the park helping everyone with daily tasks and more) also it seems pretty clear to me that Lazarus water and ectoplasm are similar in compounds which is frankly something I rather not think about right now.

The Fenton's cause so much property damage it's not even funny. they seem to not care for human lives and their excuse for doing so being 'dangerous ghost in the area' when it's clear that Phantom has it handled they don't even shoot at the attacking ghost they shoot at him which is so wrong on so many levels. the anti-ghost inventions they make seemed to even cause several attacks as well. Phantom already has enough on that his plate with the ghost attacks being 24/7.( Poor guy looks exhausted and burnt out) He doesn't need to have to hide/escape/be afraid from the people he's trying to protect. Hell even the red huntress(another vigilante) makes allies with him then shoots him in the back when the danger is over.

Looking closer at Phantom he has fluffy, soft, and thick white hair that seems to move like it's underwater; piercing, glowing, Lazarus green eyes; body type like Danny's but you can see more of the muscle and shape with his clothing being more skin tight, speaking of clothing he looks like he's wearing a hazmat suit with a symbol(a stylized D with a P in its negative space) postered on it and a utility belt. both the symbol and utility belt were added on later to the original suit which seems to resemble the ones the Fenton adults wear constantly

Actually Phantom looks a lot like Danny in general. . .

And Phantom has been called 'halfa' by some of his rouges. . .

Phantom and Danny looks so similar because they are the same person!?! after looking at Danny's school absences, tardys, and straight up running out of the class with the ghost attacks they line up

Danny seamlessly shows up with injuries that phanton has gained from Ghost attacks (but they're also injuries that seems to come from something else). Danny is apparently known to run from ghost attacks and as soon as that happens Phantom comes around the corner. Phantom uses Fenton tech that has been modified from the original, which probably he did, another similarity to add between us. . .

Wait I can add being a vigilante/hero as a similarity between us as well!

SHIT! Phantom is a ghost, dead, not living, did my twin brother die at some point!?! Cuz he sure as hell wasn't born like that!?! It must have been the day the portal was open. from what I was able to gather he was the only one home that day and the portal spontaneously worked after failing at first. And about a week later the first official ghost attack happened.

Also what is all this shit about the Anti-Echo Acts and the GIW!?!?! A whole government branch dedicated to the horrendous sayings of the Fenton adults!?!?! It looks like a lot of the Ghost attacks are dying down because it's became too dangerous for them to be out there.

We probably wouldn't have even noticed about all bullshittery with the government and this town in pacifically if if it wasn't for danny coming here.

He is Phantom.

He said he was forced to be here.

He was forced into leaving his town.

The town that is attacking him at every corner.

With a support system that seems to be nonexistent.

And from looking at the old videos/photos he was learning everything from scratch.

With barely any appreciation for the things he does.

With the government trying to dissect him ( the fuck)

So logically after taking down the government and shutting down the portal if possible ( don't know if Danny needs it or if they environment has changed too much) Amity Park wouldn't need a hero if there's nothing to do there.

plus with their treatment of obvious heroes they could deal with their shit themselves, how does he deal with that I don't know.

They wouldn't mind if Phantom stays in Gotham would they? Probably not.

Oh well

He should probably start that welfare check now he'll do a more thorough investigation with the government later, twin brother priority right now.

" Drake, where are you going? You can't just say all of that and leave! Drake!!"

Sorta Maybe Blind pt 3

There's a group of people, about seven of them setting up big crates and boxes filled with products of the dangerous variety around the room. Chatting about this and that.

"Can you warn Me the next time you pick me up randomly, I know bad guys just came in but I want a little warning." the blind child grunted at him softly making sure to not make much noise.

"This will be the last of spontaneous trips for you"Bruce answered back in the low quiet voice.this is a tricky situation he founded himself in, the child was entirely unexpected coming through the broken down doors and landing right in front of them. Looking exhausted and famished.

Being a child without a guardian is already dangerous enough in Gotham being blind on top of that is practically a death sentence. Who are the child's parents, why did they leave him alone for so long, and where are they now.

Does he even have parents? Is he a orphan?

" Chong, you have the merchandise ready for receivable" Calin Honching asked one of the goons who we now know is named Chong

" Ye, got them all sir. these suckers are top of the line shit right here." Chong replied

" Excellent! We'll surely make lots of money this load"

Calin Honching is a man of upper class having a business named Honcare, a medical hospital that specializes in trauma care and surgeries. he is also a man he has been pursuing for a while now. Honching has been doing weapons deals across Gotham. Selling them to traffickers and meta-traffickers alike. The weapons mostly consists of guns and torturing devices though some of them are hefty loads of sedatives. He has been doing those deals in exchange for money and promise to get there victims treatment at his facility without being exposed of there wrongdoings. The man was horribly greedy wanting to make sure that you will have patience coming in Even if he's passively caused those patients wounds himself.

Another group of people came in with their own boxes. likely the buyers known as the horrforce they have been taking mostly children in the 13-15 range. the leader is named Kimlig Horrin

"Dr. Honching I hope you have my order ready "

"That I do Mr Horrin"

"Lovely, absolutely lovely bring the goods over."

" Batman " the child softly whispers " i heard something that sounds like scratching next to the voice of Horrin" looking around Horrin he spots the biggest box that they have brought big enough to fit at least one human teenager inside. A soft sound of nails scratching against wood can be heard if you listen for long and focused in that area enough

" How well can you hear it?" He asked

" Pretty well. I have really sharp hearing. if I didn't how else will I know that someone is approaching me.I listen for footsteps or a Heartbeat. And there's definitely one erratic heartbeat and frantic scratching over there" the child tensely states.

He may be a meta if he is able to hear heartbeats like Superman. He would have a suggested Kryptonian but kryptonians tend to be indestructible and clearly something happened to this child for him that become blind if the scarring creeping up his neck says anything.

Carefully he readjust the child and his grip before reaching his hand up to his com " Robin, Oracle, have we have a possible hostage situation along with the weapons deal be sure to be prepared"

" Affirmative "

" You got it B! Also been looking at reports for any missing children of his description and there are none for your information. How many children do you have now? 7? 8?"

"Hhuunn"

" Good chat B "

" Batman has 7-8 kids?" The child confusingly responds.

" You can here me?"

" Yes Mam "

" Weeeelllllll how about that!! should have probably known when you said you can hear heartbeats without any device. My name is Oracle what's yours?"

" Danny " he hums

" Good to meet you"

" Well Dr. Honching a say we have quite the lovely collection here!" Kimlig exaggerated shouts" what's your price"

" I think it's time to intervene Batman" Robin clicks before shutting the comm off and jumping on one of the goons knocking him out on impact.

Batman quietly crouches down in a more concealed area tucking Danny in a corner with his duffle bag that somehow hasn't made a sound during the whole scuffle. " Will you be all right if I leave you here" He concernedly ask

" I will be okay, go do your job"He gives you a reassuring smile and a thumbs up, almost hitting the box next to him.

Batman begins to nod look or thinking better of it "good stay here" turning around he jumps into the fray of the battle.

Danny may have reveled too much about his hearing, but it was for a good cause because his obsession was roaring its head about the victim inside that box and he couldn't do anything about it.

Sitting in the corner he watches the bats movements, watching them fighting in a way that almost seems like dancing and they are the only ones who know to moves to it. It's kind of mesmerizing.

Looking at the abandon the box he leaves his duffle bag tucked into the corner and swiftly moves forward towards the box feeling around the sides he looks for something after he used to open it. After a bit of searching he finds a latch and lock. He morals his fingers around something revealing the lockpick he phaced into his finger you long time ago. You may never know when you might need one.

"Try and be still okay I am here to help you okay"He states hearing and feeling movement behind him He grabs onto their arm disarming them before judo flipping them up on the floor. delivering a kick to the face He knocks the enemy out cold.

He resumes his task of unlocking the wooden box. opening the box he finds a frail girl a little younger than him terrified before her face morphed into confusion and disbelief.

" You're blind. . . ."

" Thank you for stating the obvious, now do you want help out of the box or not" He holds out his hand in her direction, she hesitates before taking the hand and he pulls her out and close. then running back to the direction of the corner Batman lead him too.

" We'll stay here until they're done, what's your name?"

" . . .Carrie"

"Nice to meet you Carrie, I'm Danny what's you favorite color?"

He asked question after question making sure she's distracted from the situation at hand. she hesitates a bit before answering the questions, but as the more it goes on the more comfortable she gets. Until eventually Batman and Robin comes over to tell them the threat is resolved.

Danny puts his duffle bag back on when leaving the building they go into Pairs. Batman is checking Carrie over for injuries and Robin turns over to him " The GPD will be here momentarily. I want to congratulate you on the move you pulled back there. It was impressive for someone of inexperience in these types of situations."

" Well if I can do something, then I'm going to do it"

" A good moral code dut also a dangerous one, Daniel"

One Full body flinch and a pained grimace " please don't call me that, is either Danny or if you prefer last names it's " what was his new last name again? oh wait " Nightingale "

". . . Your last name is Nightingale"

"Yup" he agreed with a pop of the p

Batman comes over when done checking her over and making her comfortable why she waits for the medics to arrive. " Your skills in spatial awareness despite being blind is immaculate. Were you taught that move by someone?"

"My mom. . . When I was younger" holding the duffle bag closer he gains a conflicted face before smoothing his features out waving his hand "anyways since I found a weapons deal instead of a place to sleep you happen to have any good recommendations instead? kind of don't want to end up in a completely different situation that I know my luck will end up doing. you're the heroes of the city so you know the best areas, I'll tack any suggestion"

" Are you by yourself in the city?"Robin asked

". . . Yes, yes I am" he revealed

" I have an acquaintance that will be happy to let you stay the night" Batman admitted

Robin snapped his head toward the bat signing aggressively ' are we really doing this right now? do you really need any more children? I do not need another brother, father' Robin huffs

Rubbing the back of his neck"I don't want to bother the guy if he's busy"

" He is not busy at all" sirens could be heard little ways away of abandoned apartment. " I believe that is our cue to go. Danny, will bring you there in the batmobile if you so desire" they make sure Carrie gets to the medical professional there stating that he is all right and to focus on her. he turns over to Batman.

"That . . . Sounds awesome actually, thank you" at his words Batman brings said vehicle to a location beside the building. Taking his hand they lead him over to the car with Robin glaring holes into the back of Batman's head. Batman holds the back side door open for Danny to get inside then close is it. Robin gets into the passenger and Batman gets into the driver

They head off into the unforeseen night

A Coffee Heart

Danny's a heavy coffee drinker and he has his reasons. Ever since the half-fatal accident at 14 his heart beats at a very slow rate like 32 beats per minute type of slow

He fell asleep in class and didn't wake up automatically to a pencil dropping, once (he fought six big ghost attacks in a span of 3 hours that day, give him a break) he nearly caused Mr Lancer a heart attack it took 10 minutes to convince him to not call the hospital.

Ever since that day, he's been drinking coffee with enough caffeine in it to kill a horse, both for the energy when ghost fighting and faster heart rate.

His parents decided that they needed to take an emergency trip to Gotham to get rid of its ' Shadow mimicking human mocking echo scum ' which was apparently Batman & Co. . . .

3 days, a shit ton of research, 37 cups of 'I am living human' coffee, more research (not batfam related) and a 253 slideshow presentation that I lovingly called Gothampedia. I managed to convince them that the furry vigilantes aren't ghost ( they don't believe that humans can do the things that the bats do, so there metas) and that Gotham has many many more dangers then ghost doing its thing there

It worked. . . .sort of

" why are we packing again I thought the Gothampedia was enough"

"oh sweetheart it was" mom says she heaves a large trunk (most likely goes weapons/technology) inside the GAV " the meta vigilantes may not be the ghost haunting gotham but it is certainly haunted, the dark and dreary weight over the city must be nothing else."

Dad comes over with a mouthful of fudge swallowing " your mother is right Danny-O, Gotham needs our help and what better help is there than the Fenton's! plus with how informative your slides was,"you were barely awake for the majority of it "you know the ins and out of the place so we don't need to worry."

The probability of Ghosts aren't the problem here, it's the fact that you dress in the neon hazmat suits carrying around bulking handmade weapons that will put you on Batman's watchlist faster than you can say Going Ghost! Gotham has plenty of mad scientists you don't need to mingle with them!!

After trying and failing to get them the least postpone this adventure he looked on with Dread

There's no way to get out of this isn't there. . . .

Maybe Gotham has less restrictions on the amount of caffeine I can get in coffee.
