The people here are "in the village at grandma's" - they come to a remote town where the monster lives. All the monsters were basically the same, but: MTT has his club, Napstablook helps him Sans and Papyrus help people, they - the counselors Flowy accompanies people everywhere can Grillby, Muffet, NiceCream and BurgerPants have their own cafes and all that is in every village :D
