They're Diavolo's plaything. Maybe in some perverse way he really does love them, but they can't see it. All they can see is the way he wants to own them in every humiliating and degrading way he can.

Sunnydrop probably is feeling kinda tired with things going on in the pizzeria , sometimes they would wish they could see the real world outside of the pizzeria , maybe even the sky , what a real sun looks like , unfortunately they still have to work on their stand for today 

Luckily customers on the place are already starting to leave being less and ..less  people  and children on the site as time goes on , a slight relieve to them be honest 

They weren't the type of animatronic to actually want to escape , it was merely just thoughts , in fact they followed the protocol very strictly and neatly! They were always happy to see their dear customers , some parts of them were even smudged by the kids who didn't learn at all what was "Not Touching The Animatronics!" Rule , but kids will be kids and they actually didn't mind playing with them. 

But there was this one person in particular that always seemed to get into their mind , of course it was dear (Y/N)  (Y/N) always frequented their visits on Sunnydrop's zone while taking their little (cousin/sibling any small familiar) to the playground , of course it was kinda boring for (Y/N) since they were a fully grown adult watching over a child , at some point at the beginning Y/N's and Sunnydrop's friendship , Y/N interacted with Sundrop with small talks or questions to see if the animatronic was able to actually have any coherent thoughts or speech pattern , i mean , it was a robot! Surprisingly , Sundrop answered some of them while playfully stretching at their spot , not wanting to go on deep details on stuff (Y/N) was asking , Meanwhile while Sunnydrop of course dealt with stuff like this before , but you just keep coming back , again and again week by week , you went there with your family everytime you wanted (or had time) and for the final part you arrived at the playground and started talking to Sundrop again , Sometimes you two hanged around or even played at the ballpit if possible , teasingly hitting Sundrop with one of the balls from there , of course they answered doing the same thing , all of those occasional fun moments made them get attached to you quickly , they were already friendly to everyone but to you? Oh they wanted to squeeze you so hard on a hug , and if they could , They would.

Maybe Sunnydrop just didn't realize what they had going on their head was a crush? With the days going on and on , they really had no time to think about if for too long , do they even know what a crush was-? Gosh that is all they thought to themselves , what if- 

Suddenly Sundrop snapped out of their mind as a familiar voice came to their sensors calling out to them , They scrambled a bit back to position as they were exalted by your presence , ""Y/N?" Golly didn't even notice you there! Wonderful seeing my little sunshine here!"" As they opened their arms for a welcoming hug , how could you say no? Of course you embraced Sundrop tightly- i mean as tight as you could because their embrace was way stronger than yours , they seemed to realize you were lowkey suffocating in the long hug as they let you go , Sundrop then seemed to look around as if checking if there were still persons around the playground 

You playfully asked: "So… how was the day Sunny?" Trying to catch their attention again you booped their (nose?) As they backed up a bit in surprise and chuckled a bit "Marvellous as ever! ,  but I think this day just got better"  They say with an exaggerated way on their movement shifting weight foot to foot nervously , of course you didn't get the "indirect" of why their day got better (IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU , SILLY) as you were going to continue- your little (cousin/brother/etc) came running towards you , kinda crashing on your leg playfully as then they noticed the presence of the animatronic next to you , "Woah! That's a biiiiig SUN" letting go of your leg and hopping to Sundrop's leg "Y/N Y/N Y/N! Is Mr. sun a friend?"  You just laughed it off as you looked up to see Sundrop happily lifting  them up and spinning them around before carefully leaving them on the floor as you just stared in how cute that view was , when Sundrop looked back up to you staring at them , they just got MORE nervous as you complimented their actions , and it wasn't normal for them to be nervous being so.. happy-go-lucky

Without even thinking they decided to invite you to hang around the playground! Like you two always did of course  but this time was just to break their tension , as you walked step by step going around , tracing your fingers in the slides near by , you just couldn't help but notice they were way quieter today , they always cheered you up with jokes , picked you up lovingly and- "what were you thinking for god's sake they're an animatronic!" as you began getting flustered by your own thoughts towards them , maybe you did think they were cute??? Kinda?

 Suddenly they stopped walking and you immediately noticed , was there…Something wrong? 

You turned around fidgeting with your fingers and a worried look on your face , oh god were they mad at you? How could you be so troubled because of an Animatronic made to entertain children- you began overthinking on the spot

That's all you heard , 3 words , i . Like . You , as soon as they said that you bursted out in a: "WHAT?" As they repeated again: "you heard me! I Like you!" As they gestured in each word a different hand sign ending with a Heart sign and began moving their head one way to another waiting for an answer , you stared at them while it looked like your words were falling apart as you tried to answer "UH I MEan mean . Liking?? Like Like the liking of liking? Or the FRIENDLY liking BECAUSE of- OF course i like you you're a wonderful fr-friend" god you looked like an idiot that made no sense , as your face was burning and you played with your hair shifting weight foot to foot nervously

As the animatronic started walking joyfully closer and closer to you like nothing ever happened , just like they weren't even nervous about it , or it was probably just the face that gave you that feeling , soon as that they grabbed your hands and holded them close to themselves , all you were hearing at that moment was just the mechanic sounds and the happy ringing from their bells , you looked absolutely shocked as they calmly wrapped their arms around you in hope that you may calm down , you didn't hesitate , you were speechless but you knowed that he knew you feeled somehow the same , as they shifted the weight making you get closer to their chest and cupping their cold metallic hands towards your cheeks , you just felt … happy , exhausted but happy , as you closed your eyes for a bit while wrapping your arms in their waist and back , you loved them and they loved you too , what more could you ask for?.

"Hey sunny?" You said gently

As they looked down at you and hummed an Hmm? In response.

- "Thank you."
