Yes, bitch is a negative word but it no longer holds such a negative connotation as it once did. yes the word bitch is still used to bring down women but it’s also used to bring down men and non-binary people and it’s not even always used with a negative connotation, it can be used with a positive or neutral connotation like when saying "boss bitch" or "I wanna get outta this bitch". The word bitch is an insult but it is no where near as bad as calling someone a fag or any slur.

And when writing two characters that don’t like each other, or at least one that doesn’t like another, you would write them insulting each other, and that is what Erik did he wrote Sam insulting a person he hated by calling them a common insult used by millions of people daily. Honestly though what did you want him to call her? A buttface? Like grow up of course a grown man is going to a person he doesn't like a bitch! Hell I call people I DO like a bitch everyday.

If bitch had such a negative connotation all the time it wouldn't be the 5th most common curse word in the English language. You are taking this to seriously, it was a common insult that was used to show a negative relationship between two characters in a peice of media.

Calling a character sexist or an icel for using a word that out of its multiple meanings has a like one or two that bring down women is just plain over sensitive. Like of course an insult has a negative connotation IT'S AN INSULT IT'S NOT MENT TO BE NICE! IT'S MENT TO BRING THE OTHER PERSON DOWN!

I'm sorry but ppl have been DEFENDING ALEXIS!? Like people have been genuinely upset at Sam for calling her a bitch???? I'm sorry but who in their right mind could defend Alexis turning Sam AFTER HE SAID NO? HE TOLD HER TO STOP! HE WAS PUSHING HER OFF HIM UNTIL SHE FORCED HIM TO OPEN HIS EYES AND TRANCED HIM

Y'all are fucking insane for excusing Alexis' actions because "she's hot.", Sam had all the right in the world to call her a bitch and honestly he could've (and should've) called her worse because she is.
