Ignore that.
Angst? In my good christian silly fanfic? ...Maybe. Ignore that, let's dance instead!

Happy #AutismAcceptanceMonth to all my fellow beings navigating the different wavelenghs.
my friend was testing perfumes out at the store and she sniffed a bottle and anounced "ngl this bitch kind of sucks" The girl at the counter suddenly looked really sad, and my friend was like "I'm sorry, I wasn't talking about you." And the girl looked up and said "No don't worry, I didn't think that, but I just crushed a ladybug with my shoe" We both took a peak over the counter. she'd stepped on a red m&m
Hello everyone,
I found an interesting article about integration and autism. Hereβs some excerpts from the article:
βSensory integration is an essential part of your development β it helps define everything from the way you see and hear things in the world, to the way that your body exists in space and more. Yet, researchTrusted Source suggests that anywhere from 5% to 16.5% of people experience sensory processing challenges, especially in those with conditions like autism spectrum disorder.β
βSensory integration, also known as sensory processing, is the process by which the brain recognizes and responds to information our senses provide. So, this means how we process or integrate things that we see, taste, smell, touch, or hear β as well as the way that our body exists in space.β
The entirety of this article will be below for this who would like to read through it. I hope you find this interesting and informative.

I want to show you one cool thing.
It's not like it's hidden, but I haven't seen anybody point it out so...
You know how Casey and Donnie start their conversations? That's their little thing.
Donnie lives in multi-tasking mode all the time and often doesn't even turn his head to greet you if you start talking to him. From the outside it looks like he doesn't care. But he and Casey have this little moment at the beginning of almost any conversation where they call each other by name.
It's Donnie's way of saying "I'm busy, but I know you are here and I'm listening to you."
At first it was a one-way thing, but then Casey started doing that in response too and it became a common habit between them
So now whenever Casey wants to address Donnie, he says his name and then pauses. ...You know..., so that Donnie fills that pause by saying his name in response.
Even if Donnie isn't there anymore.
And he keeps doing that with little Donnie.
