Hahaha. I’ve done it. I’ve written a whole thing. I’m amazed. I’m stunned. Please read my fanfic, I promise it’s short the first chapter is short. Pretty self explanatory, a poll for anthro furry/scalie/whatever the term is for bugs characters.

Inspired by polls like @cool-hat-bracket, @thegreatbigdetectivepolll, @latinotiktok's latinosexyman tournament, @who-do-i-know-this-man, @mostannoyingfandom-poll, @doomed-bythe-narrative, @least-sexy-man-competition, and @worstcharacterpoll.

What counts as "Anthro"?

For a character to be elligible for submission they must:

Have a humanoid body, but animal facial features. What this means is that they have to walk around on two legs but their face must be the face of an animal. I don't want to see any humans who just happen to have cat ears in the submissions, they gotta look like someone sewed an animal head onto a human torso. The body can be anything from fully humanized to something like a literal rat that walks on two legs.

Be based on a real life animal. I'm not gonna add fictional species for this poll, because they fall in a bit of a gray area between anthro and just a separate species altogether. Remember to specify what animal your submission is supposed to be.

Be relatively well known. You can submit obscure characters (in fact, PLEASE submit obscure characters) but no ocs. If google shows no results for them they cannot be submitted.

Not be from a dating sim because there are way, way too many of them. This rule is only here so I don't end up googling 50 different R18 furry dating sims. Spare me please, I beg of thee.

Not be from any sort of real life religion because that's disrespectful as shit.

The poll will prioritize multiple sources. What that means is that if two characters from the same show are submitted, ONLY the one with the most amount of submissions will be put on the bracket. If both characters have the same amount of submissions a preliminary voting round will be held to decide who goes on the bracket.

Submissions will close on May 8th, 10:00PM CLT at the earliest. However the form will remain open longer if we can't reach our minimum of 32 submissions.

Loving the Willow show, especially since, unlike a lot of Disney stuff that has First Gay Character, Kit is allowed to be flawed

Like, DEEPLY flawed. Actually, it isn't unlike Glimmer from She Ra and the princesses of power. Kit is your typical rebellious princess, but when she gets out into the world, that belief that She is right and everyone else is wrong, doesn't immediately go away. Especially not when her brother could be dying every second they delay.

Madmortigan may have left before they were old enough to truly know him, but she and Airk have both inherited traits from their dad. They're both ultimately noble souls with the hearts of true heroes, but Airk is a skirt-chasing womanizer scared to death of commitment, and Kit is a self-absorbed prat whose every snarky word makes Willow wanna shove a tree up her ass. Her relationship with Jade isn't some sapphic fairy tale, at least not yet, because Jade has to constantly drag kit kicking and screaming into doing the right thing and by episode 2 you can tell she's getting REALLY sick of it.

Willow doesn't just fully embrace the queerness of its lead, it also embraces that queer people are just as complicated, messy, and kinda shitty as everyone else.
