Comfort 🍷☀️
There’s a strange thing about memories—sometimes, they feel like the only thing we have left. I close my eyes, and I can still see my family sitting around the dinner table, laughing at a joke my uncle made. I can still hear my mother calling me to come inside before it gets too late. I can still feel the warm sun on my face as I walked home from school, thinking about my next big dream.
Now, those moments feel like they belong to another life. The streets aren’t the same. The people aren’t the same. And I—I don’t know if I’m the same either. But I hold onto those memories so tightly because they remind me of who I am, of the love I’ve known, of the warmth that still exists somewhere in this world.
If you’re reading this, take a moment to appreciate the little things. Hug your family. Send a message to an old friend. Step outside and take a deep breath of fresh air. 🌿 These are the moments that matter. These are the things that make life beautiful.
No matter where life takes me, I’ll never stop cherishing the love that shaped me. And I hope, wherever you are, you never stop appreciating the love around you too. 💙
And I'm now waiting to be Vetted by @gazavetters 🙏

Emergency: Help my family from the fierce war
I am Lara, a girl from Gaza who, like any girl, dreams of a quiet life and a secure future. I was studying engineering in my third year at university. I dreamed of achieving something useful for my family and myself, hoping to be a light in our lives amidst all this darkness. Unfortunately, the very harsh conditions created this dream, and my future began to fade with every difficulty we faced.
I witnessed a tragedy that befell our lives in Gaza, where my family and I survived many previous wars. But today we are facing the most dangerous and fiercest battle in the current war. The urgent need for us is very great, as we have nothing left and are unable to secure our basic needs such as food, water and safe shelter.
This is our story - On October 7, our lives changed forever. My family and I were evacuated from northern Gaza to southern Gaza, hoping to return soon, but that did not happen. Everything changed when the occupation targeted our home. I emerged from the rubble; as if I was born again in a world full of disappointment and sadness. My body is exhausted, my soul is broken, but the hardest part is seeing my father injured as a result of our home being targeted and seeing my family in this state. I feel helpless, unable to provide the treatment he so desperately needs, and all I can do is persevere and be patient. Our home, which was once a bastion of hope, has been reduced to rubble, a stark reminder of our shattered dreams. .
Our home was the place where we found hope and safety and made precious memories. Losing it was like losing years of our lives, leaving us lost in the wreckage of our shattered existence. Our dreams are fading into oblivion in the maze of an unknown future.
The war has taken everything from us, it has taken our future, our memories, our childhood, our dreams, our home, and now we are homeless, without anything, scattered.
We have lost our sense of security, our peace of mind, and even the simplest necessities have become out of reach.
My story with my siblings is a united team of three, my eldest sister is a dentist, my next sister is a pharmacist and I am a software engineer....
Our parents are trying hard to find a way to save us from this hell, and they feel a heavy responsibility for every moment we spend under the shadows of fear and destruction. They dream of a safe place where they can build a better future for us, full of security and hope, because we deserve life with all its meanings of comfort and peace.
I was not used to asking for help, but today, I find myself reaching out to you with a heavy heart. We need your support, to continue this long road with a little hope.
This fundraising campaign may represent a light in the darkness, it is the only hope we hold on to strongly.
Your donation is not just a donation, it is an opportunity to rebuild lives and shine a better future. Be a part of our story of hope, we need your hand to start over.🥺⚘️
