You have made no inclination that you hate on damangela because of its shippers. Not ONCE have I seen anyone say "I like them but I just don't see why people ship them." You guys have literally said that they have no dynamic and mocked people who just enjoy them point blank. Not only that but you have said that Angela hates Damien and implied that there was something dark and sinister going on there. Idc if you were joking, joking about someone maybe being creepy/harmful to someone is problematic as hell.
I wish I could see what the original tweet this person was replying to said but alas they are private. I wouldn't be surprised if they were hating/complaining about me though honestly. Because I've been going off on this all week lmao.
The fact that one of smoshtwt's main sources of joy and entertainment is bullying and ragebaiting apparently is so sad honestly. Like you and your 15 big twitter accounts are hating on a dynamic because *checks notes* 2 or 3 people ship them and are being very chill and normal about it? Ok yeah sure. I loveeee shaming people for no reason!! It's sooo fun and normal!!! I'm still a 10 year old girl! Like literally haven't seen this type of behavior since I was in like 5th or 6th grade π and most of these people are adults too like it's so embarrassing π

I saw another anon talking about not really getting all the Damangela hype so, I think what a lot of people get wrong about how Ang reacts to what Damien says is- It's all on camera. In front of HUGE groups of people on a set. There's no way in hell I'd be openly flirting with anybody in that kind of scenario! if I can be slightly delusional- I don't think she knows how to talk herself out of a lot of the scenarios he puts her in. Not in a bad way! but in a "brain is not working, handsome man just said something sweet and is paying so much attention to me" way! and her best response is to ignore or deflect
She obviously has a big soft spot for him (almost bigger than his for her), with her constantly reassuring him when he does things well, yes-and-ing his jokes, and forcefully pulling him into convos. (and practically standing on him in tntlsπ)
I can kind of see where people are coming from with "she's just like that!" "she tries to make everyone feel good!" but there's too many little things she does that makes it apparent she truly cares a lot for the guy
A great example is him flirting with her as Todd. She had no idea what to do. She's admitted on the Pretty Gay podcast that she kind of struggles with flirtation and how to react to it sometimes, or how to reciprocate, whether it's a playful thing or something with intention behind it.
It's just very clear when you watch them together that they really care about each other to me. It's far more subtle than say, Shayne and Damien's dynamic, so I can see why a lot of people miss things. They speak their own little language.
For anyone who thinks she doesn't like him, watch some compilations of the two of them and pay attention to the small things.

Curt Mega - honestly I didn't think about this before I saw someone mention it, but I'd be so here for that. And again, he wasn't in the og TGWDLM so there'd be no problems there
Jeff Blim - honestly, I LOVED his Hidgens in Workin' Boys, but this would probably only work if they also recast Sam or Mr. Davidson or something because he already sings like 80% of this show and it would be too much if he also played Hidgens soo probably wouldn't happen
Honestly the thing I'm most excited about for this revival is to see who they cast as Hidgens lmao

Sword af my beloved!! I miss my sword af heros so much! π But yes, season one had so many good damangela moments! Especially with Bug and Gunthar. He was SO sweet hyping her up, and I know it was just for the show but I swear sometimes it felt like it was also Angela and not just Bug reacting to the supportive things he said
