A sketch comic of Dipper and Mabel Pines and Bill Cipher all looking around a thrift store together. In the first panel, Bill looks at a shelf while Mabel holds up a doll and excitedly says "Man, I love thrifting! All this cool, weird stuff getting a second chance to live and be loved… it's like necromancy! But chic!" In the next panel, Dipper examines an old plush and says "Mabel, try and stay focused? If we don't find that haunted doll before the store closes--" Bill interrupts by waving a hand dismissively and saying "Relax, Pinetree. I'll keep us on task." Bill then yells to Mabel "Hey kid! Race ya to find the most haunted doll here!" Mabel looks back at Bill with an excited grin and shouts "Oh, you're on!!!" In the fourth panel Bill walks away and points back over his shoulder at Dipper, saying "Last place buys lunch, by the way!" Dipper looks surprised and annoyed, saying "What-? Hey!!"

In a panel labeled "Later", Bill holds a vintage-looking doll with a plastic shell face and fuzzy head with bear ears, as well as overalls, a bow around its neck, and one eye that's hanging closed. Dipper holds a fairly normal-looking clown doll with a patch of hair missing. Bill looks derisively at Dipper and says "Really, kid? That's the best you could find?" Dipper, affronted, says "It made the EMF detector go nuts! You said 'haunted', not 'creepy'." Bill replies "C'mon, any ghost worth investigating could make a doll seem creepier than that."

Mabel says "You mean like this?" She triumphantly holds up a doll with pigtails, a polkadot dress, and a huge scary smile with one missing eye, one huge bulging eye, and a bunch of broken teeth. Reaction shots of Bill and Dipper in the bottom corners show Bill in starry-eyed amazement and Dipper cringing in discomfort, saying "Eugh."

Bill claps excitedly while examining the doll, saying "Ohoho! Now that's a good find, kid!" Dipper, smiling and sweating uncomfortably, says "Yeah, I think that one wins… where'd you even find that?" Mabel says "You guys haven't even seen the best part! Check this out."

Mabel pulls a pullstring on the back of the doll, with a "Zip!" sound effect.

A tinny old music box inside the doll starts playing "Rockabye baby." It starts singing the normal lyrics in a wobbly voice: "Rockabye baby in the treetop…" In the next panel, Bill stares at the doll, stunned into silence and looking worried, but unsure why. The lyrics continue, but under the words "When the wind blows, the cradle will rock", the very faint words "It's not your fault you have that strange eye" are visible. In the next panel, a close-up of the doll's eyes shows what looks like a black, four-fingered hand gripping the edge of its empty eye socket. The original lyrics are mostly covered by new ones: "Stay safe with mommy, you'll never fall…" The next panel shows Bill's horrified face as the memories return to him. His eye is huge and starting to fill with tears, and glitchy, translucent Euclydian hands are reaching out from behind him to grip his shoulders and head. The only visible lyrics now are the ones his mom used to sing to him: "And we'll always love y--"

Dipper and Mabel both share a nervous grin as the doll finishes its song normally. Dipper says "Ohhh man…" and Mabel says "I know, right??" Then there's a loud clatter from offscreen.

Dipper and Mabel both look up in shock. Dipper nervously asks "Whoa, what was that?" Mabel asks "Huh?" The panel is zoomed out to show that Bill's no longer standing with them, and Dipper shouts "Bill?? Where'd Bill go??"

The kids call out from offscreen. Mabel: "Bill? Where are you?" Dipper: "Bill??" Mabel: "Did something happen? Are you okay??" Dipper: "Bill I swear if you jump out and scare us I WILL punch you…" Meanwhile, Bill is hiding in a corner behind a pile of junk, sobbing and breathing hard, trying to calm down from his panic attack before anyone sees him.

immobilizing panic attacks triggered by nursery rhymes are probably a symptom of being completely normal and not needing any help at all.

inspired by an ask from @randomfangirl2002! now i really need to stop procrastinating on the fic. long comics are fun but this took like a WEEK for some reason

I wonder what Jax and Ragatha think when they see the other. After all, one expresses so freely the emotions the other tries so desperately to repress, making it harder to push down.

Ragatha represses her “mean” emotions (anger, annoyance, apathy, etc) in order to be a perfect friend to the others and Jax represses his “cringe” emotions (grief, compassion, wanting to be accepted, etc) so he can do whatever he wants. This makes it hard for them to get along, but each one has something the other lacks, so

Does Ragatha envy how Jax gets stuff done without worrying about how someone else would feel? Does Jax envy the connection Ragatha has with everyone?

That may be why they bicker so much. They’re fighting to keep down the emotions they’ve repressed for so long, but this ironically brings them more to the surface.

Their argument shows this so well. Ragatha puts her anger at what Jax did to Gangle over Gangle herself (leaving her on the floor w/ mask broken), and Jax doesn’t want her to think that he broke it on purpose, or that he’s a bad guy (he isn’t supposed to care about ppls feelings remember?).

Another example is how Ragatha starts worrying abt Pomni only for Jax to go “Poor POMNI? How about poor US????”, and Ragatha doesn’t answer. When Ragatha brings up Kaufmo’s funeral, it makes Jax’s mask break for a split second.

It’s like being around the other brings out what they think is the worst part of themselves.

This is also why they share eps 5 and 6. They are two sides of the same coin, so its hard to bring up one without the other.

I’m excited to see where Gooseworx and Glitch takes them next.

I don't care that i don't do this type of posting but one of my close friends was molested while having an appointment at this hospital. the doctor who was giving her a check up threatened to kill her if she said anything about it (i will update you if i get the name of her, she's not in the picture) and it absolutely enrages me that she has been working there for 20 years and nobody believes my freind was sexually assaulted .

⚠️ im not sure how this is meant to be done but please do anything, reblog, share, leave a bad review, anything to get this evil fucking hospital and it's disgusting doctors out of business.⚠️

this is not just for my friend but any of the poor people, children and infants who are being mistreated here.
