Hi! I’m a student writing a research paper on the prevalence of queer couples and lgbtq+ representation in fanfiction and need participants for my survey. Regulus froze in his tracks, scrunching up his face in an attempt to restrain the ridiculous smile he knew was threatening to spill over. With a deep breath, and a face at least two shades darker than before, Regulus turned around.

“It’s alright if you don’t want to!” James quickly said. “I know there’s a lot of animosity between our houses, and I know people already treat you unfairly because we’re dating, so I completely understand if you don’t-“

“James.” Regulus stepped forward, standing on his tiptoes to press a quick kiss to James’ cheek. “I’d love to wear it.”
