OMG. OP you have done something special for me: you reminded me of the name of the show I saw an episode of once at a friend’s house as a kid and really liked, but was thereafter never able to find again. Growing Up Creepie managed to speak so deeply to my bug-obsessed child self that fifteen-ish years later I still have some memory of the half episode I watched and I’m super excited right now. Like, I found it! I found that show I was half convinced I must have made up! I couldn’t pin down the specific episode I saw but aaaaa this is That Show skghjjhhg

I’m really curious as to what very short lived, premium channel series y’all remember if any.

This came through my dash, so here’s my cringey crossover crackship: Mettaton from Undertale and Grimm from Hollow Knight. These definitely-gay deadly dancers both live for the show… I can’t help but imagine the chaos of a combined act! They’d also argue because Grimm’s aesthetic choices and general style are way more tasteful than Mettaton’s though lol 😆

This is a metaphorical selves-portrait we made! Jacob is on the left, Katlyn is on the right, and our body is in the center.

I read this and couldn’t help but think of my mad scientist OC Dr. Kaye, who is very much a Type 1 (cold, calculating, emotionally detached) but has the recklessness of a Type 3 (rat bastard drenched in glowing mystery liquid with a shit eating grin). And she used to be anxious and paranoid… and still gets accused of being paranoid sometimes, because she has no friends and a lot of enemies and has decided it’s entirely rational to carry a gun and know how to use it. She’s a terrible person in general, but she gets a semi-redemption arc and she’s my little meow meow ❤️

I love mad scientists who have more academic knowledge than common sense (because I relate) (this is probably all mad scientists, kinda in the definition).

i love how many different mad scientist archetypes there are. we have like

- cold, calculating, really good at what they do, emotionally detached

- “dear GOD what did i just create”, paranoid, little meow meow

- bastard, rat, would find them drenched in glowing mystery liquid with a shit eating grin on their face, maniac cackling every time something is silly
