Alright so fun thing I’ve been doing, I usually write fics on my off time on my phone during work, but because the Docs app can be finicky when offline, I sometimes can’t access my current wip, so I’ve started prep work on two other fics for TGT lol.

Yesss Autobot Starscream is a swearing sailor and I can no longer be convinced overwise! He learns all the swears!!!

What if Autobot Starscream had a swear jar:

Optimus: [whispers] Starscream, it's your turn to watch the humans...

Starscream: DAM-!

[Starscream drops a few coins into the swear jar.]

[Later, he's fighting Soundwave and he nearly blasts the bot, but Soundwave got out of the way.]

Starscream: Oh, you son of a-!

[Starscream drops more coins into the swear jar.]

[Later, Megatron is mocking him through a video screen in the Autobot Base.]

Megatron: You know Starscream, you actually did me a favor by leaving! No sooner had I made Shockwave Second-In-Command, everything has been functioning perfectly! I tell you, the way he keeps coming up with competent plans, it's almost criminal!

Starscream: YOU DIRTY BAST-!

So I've been thinking...

After watching Transformers One with my mother, I noticed something about Orion and D-16. There's an inherent tragedy to their characters. Like we all know the tragedy that is D-16's rise into Megatron, but I notice we seldom ever talk about Orion's fall into Optimus. Hear me out. Orion's entire arc is about Choice. He wants to be able to be more than a miner, he wants to choose his path and continues to make choices that are against protocol. Each choice he makes causes harm to those around him: His choice to save Jazz inadvertently caused Elita to be fired and thrown to waste disposal, His choice to run the Iacon-5000 with D-16 winds up in himself and D to be thrown into sub-level 50 where no one even knows that it exists, His choice to find the matrix on the surface winds up putting his friends into danger, them realizing their life was a lie, and starts D-16's full crash-out. Now these choices are both good and bad ones, I'm not going to deny that, but it does end up shifting on him and mirroring how D-16 goes from complacency to making his own choices. Each choice D makes, robs Orion of a choice as well.. just as Orion's choices often did the same. And what's worse is that after D-16 kills Orion and sends him off into the planet's core, he has effectively robbed Orion of any choice in the future. While D-16 gets to choose to kill Sentinel, gets to choose to take Megatronus' cog back, gets to choose a new name for himself... Orion gets none of these choices. Orion didn't choose to be shot by his best friend, he didn't choose to fall into the core of the planet, he didn't get the choice to accept or refuse the matrix of leadership, and he didn't even get to choose his name. Orion has been thrust into this duty, this responsibility. He has no choice in the matter. Optimus had no say in who he wanted to be, but he does choose something else. He chooses to fight for others to have that choice, and I think that's something neat. Anyways! Blah right? Haha, just another everyday ramble. Goodnight folks!!

GhostSoap in which Soap is home for the Highland Games

GhostSoap in which Soap wears his kilt for the first time in ages and decides to send a pic to Ghost (Who he may or may not be in the flirting stage of his relationship with the guy.)

Ghost, who stares at the picture with a red face and thankful his mask covers his face so no one can see him blushing at his sergeant wearing a goddamn kilt.

Ghost, who panics when Soap asks how he looks so he just says ‘I’ve seen better’ before completely shutting his phone off before he has the chance to register how dickish he came off.

Soap, who sees his questions being put on read and getting sent into a frustrated mood because apparently Ghost has seen other Scott’s in kilts and that makes him jealous.

Soap, who’s entire mood is shot throughout the whole Highland Games and he doesn’t even partake in that usual playful banter between contestants, he just throws his frustration into every game he does and ends up winning all of them.

Soap, who returns back to base with his winnings but still feels upset, he just ends up fully ignoring Ghost when he comes back. He doesn’t engage in banter, he leaves areas if Ghost enters them.. he just stonewalls the man.

Ghost, who’s now realized his fuckup and now has to essentially chase Soap around to try and make it up to the Scot. Eventually having to get help from Gaz or Price because Soap is a lot harder to catch than he realized.

Eventually the two get sat into a room together and everything blows up to the point where they go from yelling at each other to aggressive make out session before they calm down and look into each other’s eyes.

“So I looked pretty good in the kilt aye LT?”

“Jesus Christ Johnny, you’re never allowed to wear that for anyone but me. Got it?”

“Aye Simon.”
