Big shout out to the coalition of Catholic nuns who just told the US bishops to stop being transphobic.
“As members of the body of Christ, we cannot be whole without the full inclusion of transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive individuals,” the letter reads. It goes on to argue that “we will remain oppressors until we — as vowed Catholic religious — acknowledge the existence of LGBTQ+ people in our own congregations. We seek to cultivate a faith community where all, especially our transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive siblings, experience a deep belonging.”
The letter also states transgender people are “experiencing harm and erasure” in various ways, listing daily discrimination, a groundswell of state-level legislation aimed at LGBTQ rights and “harmful rhetoric from some Christian institutions and their leaders, including the Catholic Church.”

Saw a sign at my high school saying: “ Don’t quit when you’re tired, quit when you’re finished.” Hahahahahaha, not all of us have that luxury

My binder wearing trans bros and enbies!!! I need your input!
I hate my chest. I absolutely hate it.
But I am not old enough for surgery by law reasons or my mothers reasons.
I wanted to know what your experiences in starting to wear a binder were like, in the physical side. Like was it uncomfortable at any points, did it leave dents in your skin, etc.
I am curious and need help in this area if I want to convince my mom to let me get a binder.
Favorite LGBTQIA+ moment in video games?
I don’t really play video games...
Soooo
The best I can do is tell you a cute story about among us.
Okay so one day when me and my friends were bored and all still played among us, my friends asked me to join an among us game.
I joined their lobby and they’re username was trans babe.
That was how she chose to come out to me.
It was freaking adorable, dude.
But yeah that’s the only thing I really have for today!
“why bother writing bisexual characters if they just end up in a m/f relationship”

stop talking forever
anytime I talk about my chronic pain and fatigue and the limitations they impose on me, my mom's response is always "well you have to talk to the doctor" like firstly. I do. Secondly, I have an entire life to live between doctors appointments. 20 minutes with my doctor every 3-6 months is not going to suddenly cure me.
For those out their with heds that use mobility devices, what device do you use and what was the point that made it a need ? I’m so tired and I’m pain on the daily in either my hips, knees or ankles (and that’s only below the waist)
I’m dependent on my parents for getting care and they are relatively supportive as disability is common in our family but my mom seems reluctant to even discuss the possibility that I may need an aid.
Any advice?
(Also going to the doctor this week to ask about symptoms of pots I’ve been having for years and stomach problems)
“We cant raise minimum wage bc rent will increase”
Stop using the passive voice. Say what will actually happen. Landlords will increase rent — a voluntary action, not a natural result. The fun thing about voluntary actions is that they can be legislated against. What IS a natural result is that when landlords raise rent, their tenants’ wages automatically devalue. Again, the solution here is to stop the voluntary choice from being a choice at all.
Landlords choosing to increase rent is the problem, not a natural result of the solution.
I was looking into break rooms (those places that give u a bat and let u smash stuff) and this line got me
I love all things frog, mushroom, rainbow high… I have Ehlers danlos syndrome and use both a rollator and a cane. Enby that is bad at making friends but likes to have them. I adore many cartoons but haven’t seen even more.
