being an older sibling is like. you've never known a life without me. mom yelled at me and it taught her she never wanted to yell at you. I painted my room purple and grey and then you did too. we live in the same house but I haven't spoken to you in months. I don't know your favorite color. I saw it was going to rain so I picked you up from school on my way home so your books wouldn't get wet. i was so worried when you woke up sick when you were three. you don't remember being sick. mom and dad made their worst mistakes with me and I'm glad they didn't make them with you. I'm doing everything for the first time so you won't be in the dark. I don't know any of your friend's names anymore. I used to know them all. if something happens to mom and dad you won't have to worry because everything will fall to me. you don't like to be home alone but even if you don't see me just knowing I'm there makes you feel better. at least that's what mom told me. you still give me jars to open for you because you can't quite get them. I only see you during dinner. i'd never even think about missing one of your concerts. I stand at the counter when I eat and now you do, too. when offered a selection of books you picked the same one I did when i was your age. I'm terrified you compare yourself to me. I love you. I don't know if you like me. I want you to. mom says dinner's ready

What's that poem about the cockroach and the moth where the cockroach is like "I wish I've ever wanted anything the way that moth wanted to burn itself up in that lantern" because we had to read that in high school and it still fucks me up to this day

Michael: This is a beautiful book, it’s called Folk Tales of All Nations by F.H. Lee, and it’s beautifully bound, where do you think this is from?

David: I reckon you nicked that off the set of Good Omens.

Michael: I did! It’s from Aziraphale’s bookshop! It’s from Aziraphale’s bookshop which got burned down at the end of the story and so we were asked ‘Do you wanna to keep some of the books?’ so I got a bunch of books from Aziraphale’s bookshop.

Bonus:

COVID is slowly becoming a "third world" disease. While first world countries are hoarding vaccines, having doses for populations many times their size, third world countries can't get any because pharma companies want to sell to the first world countries first. Even then, first world countries will receive them first. While rich countries recover from COVID, they will forget about the pandemic while many other countries live the absolute worst moment of the pandemic without being able to vaccinate their population.

Good Omens Script Book Deleted Scenes

I have just spent the last 3-4 hours scouring the internet for the 5 deleted scenes that were spread between limited edition copies of the Good Omens script book so I could print them and put them into my signed, 1st edition, copy of the script book.

Through much trial and piecing together pictures of the pages from Google Images, I managed to find and type up all of the scenes. I figured that since I couldn’t find a place with all the deleted scenes in one I may as well share what I wasted 4 hours of my life on for others who care to read the deleted scenes in one place. The only scene I didn’t type up was the 4 Horsemen scene since it’s included in every book. Considering Gaiman himself had assumed that all copies of the book would have all the scenes I don’t feel too bad doing this.
