When I talk about scripting and shifting, I imagine scripting as being similar to vacation planning.

Scripting = Planning the vacation, researching where you want to go and who you want to meet. When you get there, you can do and see way more, you can even extend the vacation, but this is just to map out where you’ll be going and prepare for that

Shifting = Getting on the plane to get to your destination. If it’s a sleep method, then that’s just falling asleep on the plane and (obviously) waking up once the plane lands.

Danny’s audience consists of Wes Weston, Tucker Foley, Sam Manson, Danny’s clone Ellie, and Dash Baxter in a classroom. Wes is seated at a desk at the front taking notes. Tucker is sitting on Sam’s lap playing on a Switch, Ellie is sitting on a desk behind them. Dash is asleep at the back of the room.

Ellie, now holding the cat: “Is this Vlad’s first cat!?” Wes: "Could you tone down the floating eyes before the next part? They’re kinda distracting.” Danny: “What eyes?” Wes: “Please stop gaslighting me.”

This question has come up a lot so I decided to make a post about it :)

happy Thursday the 20th

“Come on, Fenton.” Dash whined.

“No.” Danny crossed his arms.

“Why not?”

“Because! I already had to promise to three different teachers that we’d be good on this trip to Gotham!”

“But I know your parents gave you enough guns for the entire class!” Dash pleaded.

“They’re ghost guns! That’s in the name! They don’t work on humans.” He tried to walk away from Dash, but found his other classmates crowding him. “No! I’m not supplying a whole class of teenagers with guns!”

“Come on, Fenton.” Kwan pouted. “What if we need to defend ourselves?”

“From 16th century rice bags?” He gestured to the nearby exhibit.

“We’re in Gotham. Who knows who’s going to come through that door?” Paulina gestured to the door.

At that second, Scarecrow’s goons kicked open the door. Danny stared at the door in defeat for a full two minutes before reaching into his chest and pulling out a full size duffel bag and holding it open for his classmates. “I don’t know where you got the guns.”

“You’re the best, Fenton!” Dash was the first to pick out an ecto weapon and fire on the goons that was trying to take the museum hostage.

nea’s method. how i shift.

hello. i’ll be doing something different tonight, something that made me shift in the past. this worked for me so it might not work for you, but you already know this.

i decided on another reality to shift to only for this night because i’ve seen that getting too attached to a dr is only gonna take me back sometimes and make it forced. in the past i shifted to spiderman, fantasy dr and hotel transylvania with this method, so why not try it again?

basically, i just choose a reality to shift to, one that i’m not too attached to but still am interested to visit, could be even one that you’re “creating” at the moment. i don’t care if i have a script or not, actually for this new dr i haven’t made a script (just wanna go raw lol).

what i do afterwards is do my usual routine that doesn’t necessarily be about shifting, so i could just shower, eat well, and do breathing exercises. then, before going to sleep, i put on an asmr or ambience that reminds me of the reality i’m shifting to. and finally i would just fall asleep to that, so that it’s the last thing my mind thought about before sleeping, something similar to SATs, but not quite.

you can also visualise and do affirmations, but i shifted doing nothing and just watching the video, so i really just have to fall asleep to it as i used this only as a sleep method, idk if it would work as an awake method too (i mean of course it could work, it all depends on your assumptions).

about my new desired reality, if you’re ever curious, i got the inspiration from an asmr that i’m watching lately. it was very interesting to me because i usually only like older ambiences and realities, or even just present, but future? what even is that. so i was like, you know what, imma try it. i am a limitless being who can shift anywhere so why not try everything? so that’s what i’m doing tonight. no script, no idea where i’m going exactly, but i’m excited that’s what i can say for sure.

discourse about batman's no-kill rule is so funny. imagine if a dude was like "i personally will not commit any murders and if any of my kids do i will be unhappy" and everyone booed him

I’ve been watching Danny Phantom and I get it. I get it now.

This show loves to make some offhanded comment, not a hint of consideration or concern in its tone, and just moves on without addressing it like that wasn’t the most creatively horrific concept this side of Nickelodeon. Shit makes up wackass lore on the spot and then disregards it immediately after, asks fascinating questions then looks at you funny when you try to answer them.

I now fully understand how this show has legions of fans dedicated to taking this somewhat mid cartoon and running so far with the implications of the premise they created an entirely different show that’s so much more interesting I’m upset it’s not real.
