Omfg, I have so many ideas for a high fantasy, au. I'm just not sure if ì wanna ramble autistic like in unbreaking paragraphs and run on sentences, or if I actually wanna drawwwwwww

The design was so spooky, but gosh Steve turned out so cute to me. I just know he's the only character that actually reads lmaoo

Steve is much more observant and meticulous than the rest of his pack. He tends to notice what the others- especially John- miss. Being surrounded by idiots has this soldier strung out!

-Yet, Steve is considerably more chipper when he's around John. All of Steve's poise goes out the window whenever he's with his best friend.

The tankmen are all strong men, so I wanted Steve to stand out among them. Whereas John is big, burly and fluffy in his wolf form, I wanted Steve to lean into the opposite extreme. I took inspiration from skinwalkers for his design and I think I spooked @slushgut when I originally shared the design with her.

John's personality is best described as... immature. At least, in the sense that John tends to lean into extremes. He can be selfless, willing to lay down his life for his loved ones or a cute animal he just met, or he can be extremely greedy and cruel. Despite this, John has a real talent for getting to the root of a problem and solving it in the easiest way.

At his core, we wanted to keep John the same silly himbo that he is. When I think about himbos, I think about werewolves, and I was able to pull @slushgut onto the idea.
