Hello again :)

Hello, to those of you still hanging around here! So sorry I missed Simblrween this year, but I'm happy to share that I have some new CAS Backgrounds coming out tomorrow, and more almost ready (just need preview pics) to release soon! So yay for more conversions coming! If you'd like to read on about what else I'm working on and what I've been doing in my personal life read below :)

First if I've been a little MIA its because I just delivered a healthy baby boy. Yay! But pregnancy left me super tired so I had very little energy left for conversions. I've still been building and trying to play a little rotationally, so I may share some more of the pics from that play time but we'll see.

As far as conversions I have some small "mini sets" of buy mode CC as well as a LOT of half finished conversions that I'd like to polish up and at least share the finished parts. Converting is such a learning curve and because of all the other things I've had going on in RL it hasn't been a priority to continue to poke around and trouble shoot. But with that said, I have also learned a lot and gotten some help (shout out to the amazing Creator's Cave Discord) so while I'm in the simming mood I'd love to give back to all of you and hit that publish button before life gets busy again so stay tuned. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy tomorrows CAS backgrounds! Have a great day

Saint Magnolia Hospital

Been a while but wanted to pop in and show you all what I've been up to. I started this Hospital in Saint Greer, but now it moves around to all my towns with me. Been inspired to finish decorating as I eagerly await the next version of @olomaya's Private Clinic mod. Coming soon is Optometry, which I've included a space for on floor one, more maternity care so that's the second floor, and currently we have the psychiatry module, so I have a counseling room and office on floor three, meeting space, and of course all the techy machinery. Along with a beautiful but totally not functional kids ward. Photos below. Will also be on my simblr.cc for more details :)

Hello friends, a little cc update. I am working on another big children’s set but it’s been slow going since I’m working full time instead of part time these days. But it’s over halfway done and I’m going to try to stay on the motivation train and get to the finish line for you all.

In the meantime I have a few other wips that have been complete and in my personal gameplay for a while that I going to try to share. So the next few sets might be small but there’s a big one coming at the end 💕

Inspired to decorated by watching C J Plays on YouTube with his decorating Rosewood series so I wanted to decorate too (just of course had to use way more cc). Going for a coastal cottage kinda vibe.

Are you named after anyone? Yes, my name is a twist on a famous actor and my middle name is after my grandfather. 

When was the last time you cried? Probably recently, I’m a pretty emotional person and think sometimes a good cry is helpful. But I’ve been feeling better lately and I’m grateful for that!

Do you have kids? Yes, one amazing little boy! And I hope to have more 

Do you use sarcasm a lot? No, years ago I was told my sarcasm burned and after that I stopped all together. I don’t want to be the kind of person who makes others feel bad or insecure. I prefer that people always come away feeling better after talking with me.

What sports do you play/have you played? Ballet and soccer, but when soccer got to competitive I quit and became a music girl. I definitely prefer that!

What’s the first thing you notice about other people? Their energy. I get a pretty good sense of if someone is happy, calm, irritated, strong willed, etc. I pretty much always try to have happy energy and brighten others days. 

Scary movies or happy endings? Always happy endings! I am an absolute chicken and never watch scare movies. Ever. 

Any special talents? Not really? I’m a pretty good organizer lol. Does that count? 

Where were you born? California, USA

What are your hobbies? Simming, Stardew Valley, Reading, Embroidery, being outside, learning more about cc making. 

Do you have any pets? Not currently but we want to get a golden retriever soon.

Fave subject in school?  History and English! Loooove history though. 

Dream job? Ummmm, homesteading and having my own hobby farm. Sign me up for having some Jersey cows, chickens, and baking sour dough bread.

anyone else ever look at all the TS4 to TS2 conversions and get jealous? Lol. I love our TS3 community but seriously wish we had more converters. Also me wanting to start more projects but my giant WIP folder whispering that’s probably not a good idea....

So sad because Gshade worked 100% better than reshade ever did for me.

After seeing the rest of the story I get it now (no it’s not malware that infects your computer and steals your credit card, but rather deletes outside add ons and force restarts your computer if those are found. And that forced restart is what’s considered malicious).

Im disappointed in how the gshade dev handled the situation and personally am going to give reshade another try. I don’t like the idea of anyone having the power to add potentially damaging code to a program I use for my side hobby.

Heads up hoes; the GShade dev has gone off the fucking rails and turned the damn program into malware. If you're using it for The Sims, FFXIV, Guild Wars 2, etc, it's a good time to uninstall it, after this recent update.

Starting today with the biggest set OAK HOUSE by Pierisim with 25 new items and then the next two saturdays I have the Saint Greer town hall set to release and another small kids item. 4t3 Conversion Pierisim OAK HOUSE Part 6 Kids Room

25 Items. Functional toddler bed as a crib (toddlers only, babies rotate weird). Functional bassinet as a crib (babies only, toddlers are too big). Functional abacus as a peg box, functional blocks as peg box. Most everything is fully recolorable, with the wood furniture having a baked on wood texture and a plain texture.  You will need to use a kids mattress for the bedframe as I was unable to successfully convert the mattress from this set. Hopefully will update later as I continue learning. Mattresses can be found here x and here x

Hiatus

Hey guys!

Sorry I dropped off the radar for the past month, I’ve had some crazy real life stuff going on, like my husband being diagnosed with MS. We are still reeling and just trying to adjust our life and help him to heal and recover.

Because of all that I’m taking a little break here. All conversions and stuff are on pause for a bit. I still have some things in my queue so I might post those if I have time, and pop in here and there when I can.

But truth be told I’m an Enneagram nine who likes to shut down and retreat to my ‘inner world’ aka sims when things get too hard but I am really trying to just show up and be present for my real life, even though it’s overwhelming and hard (and let’s be honest I broke down in tears because never did I ever think I’d be worrying about losing my partner and learning how to cope watching him suffer when I am only 26. That was not on my radar)

So anyway, I hope to return eventually because I have some more Saint Greer builds I was really excited to share and more going on in Hylewood. Not to mention a folder full of half finished conversions. But I need to (force myself to) take a step back and just embrace the season we’re in. Any prayers and love is appreciated.

Hylewood Round 1 - Atwood

Part Five

We left off with Sarah at the beginning of her pregnancy, the girls enjoying their summer break and William working on his career. To further his career William invited over local Law Enforcement Officer Ben Johnson and his wife Kate (ironically not pictured here but she is the local photographer you'll see later) for dinner.

The girls really just worked on their skills. Charlotte and Sarah did some painting and Jessica worked on her piano (The Atwoods are the wealthiest family on the Island and I figure they would want their girls to be a bit of over achiever proper ladies)

Soon enough it was time. William and Jessica had a good freak out.

Then the Doctor was called, and also the repair man to fix the dishwasher, while we have a baby in the kitchen because sims.

Welcome to the family Alexander Atwood! (Not sure if I'll stick with the A-Z naming for rotations but Alexander just seemed to fit).

I think William was after all quite glad to have a son and despite his early reservations was super attentive to the new baby.

Time to end their round by posing for a nice picture with Kate Johnson.
