I told you. It's pretty crazy. Anyway, these are almost every character that has ever interacted with the turtles whether significantly or not. Now that I'm looking at the list, I'm really blown away by how different these interactions are. It's awesome! Seriously, it looks like the the only things that stayed the same was the turtles, Splinter, April, Casey, Shredder, and Karai. The Kraang too but I'll talk about that in a second.
In the Au, Stockman might've gone to the store Stockboy works at and chatted about machines and whatnot. Tang Shen and Gram Gram Karai would also have gotten along pretty well I think (they share the same voice actor too so that's a nice touch). I don't think Draxum would've worked together with Shredder. Saki tends to boss others around and Draxum's pride wouldn't have liked that. It's possible that Shredder tricked Draxum into wearing the armor, but the chance of finally gaining the power necessary to achieve his goal would've been too good to pass up. Saki isn't above using enhancers as a last resort. He would've worn the Dark Armor on his own and become the 'Super' Shredder. One last thing to note is that technically speaking and looking back at Rise canon, the Hamato clan originally was a part of the foot clan. It's weird right?? The split happened when the leader of the Foot clan at the time wore the Dark Armor and went on a rampage. He had done so with the best of intentions but he couldn't control the armor's need to destroy. The man (who happens to also be called Oroku Saki, might name change in this au) had a daughter whose name was Karai. She would go on to create the Hamato clan and seal away the Shredder and herself. That's what happens in this Au at least and aligns closely with canon for the most part. 2012 didn't have much lore when it comes to the Hamato clan, aside from what happened to Tang Shen, so that's why I chose Rise canon as a building point.
Now the Krang is in a weird spot. In canon the 2012 Kraang are brainwashed by Kraang Prime with only a few that managed to break free of his control, calling themselves Utrom. Rise canon sees something similar to this in that the Krang are invaders that can take control of both machines and organic beings. Rise fans also know that Krang are actually the reason for Yokai in the first place through the Empyrean they brought and that they created the Dark Armor. In terms of the Au, the 2012 Kraang only want to free Krang Prime which is Rise Krang. (Brother and Sister Krang are also there but we don't see a lot of love for them so.) There were a few 2012 Kraang that decided to rebel and called themselves the Utrom. The creation of Yokai through the Empyrean and the banishment of Krang Prime and his siblings happened long ago, just like Rise canon.
No one really knows who sealed them away, time had eroded the knowledge away to the point of meaninglessness. There are definitely several legends about it that try to explain what exactly happened but it's never explained. Maybe it was the Utrom trying to atone for the sins of their past, or maybe, just maybe, it was a group of great warriors?
2012 Raph: I'm his brother! He should take care of himself for me because...I still need him...

An idea for the Mutant Mashup Au made my @possumsarenice and I.
Niccolo and Purple actually used to be close as kids. They naturally had lots of similarities and spent most of their time together building things. Whether it was a joint project or helping each other build inventions as each other's lab assistant, both purple turtles enjoyed each other's company a lot in those moments.
However, the more advanced their tech got, the farther away they would drift. Purple eventually started thinking that Niccolo was trying to outshine him, meanwhile Niccolo just wanted to build things just as amazing as his cousin. It's because of this insecurity that led Purple to bond more with Sanzio.
It's important to note that Niccolo never wanted to outshine his cousin and only wanted to be seen as an equal to him. He misses Purple and the things they used to build together, misses having someone that could understand him in a way the rest of his family just can't. Sometimes, Niccolo wishes he wasn't that smart and could be more laid back like Simoni or Blue.
This all comes to light when the purple turtles are captured by Big Mama and the 2012 Purple Dragons. Both boys are locked in a room and are forced to work together to get out before time runs out but things are not going well. Purple is trying to do everything himself and refusing help, but Niccolo wants to help him so both can escape. It takes a good while of arguing but Purple spills the beans about what he thinks about his cousin, how he thinks Niccolo is trying to replace him. Niccolo is speechless for a second before admitting how much he wanted someone, anyone, to stick around whenever he wanted to build machines. He felt like Purple abandoned him for bigger and better things, leaving Niccolo behind.
The two eventually clear it all up and start to reconnect by doing more joint projects like old times. Both still work on separate projects, but they have fun when they work together like they used to.
Alternate idea is that they still drift away from each other but neither notice until it's pointed out. I'll put more thought into that later but yeah.
Took a short break from Megaman to draw a character I always loved the look of.
Her name was Silhou the Wildcat and from what I understand, she was the prototype for Blaze the cat, who debuted in Sonic Rush. Blaze's backstory in that game was that she's a princess of a kingdom called Solenea and she guards the Sol Emeralds.
Blaze is also, apparently, an alternate version of Sonic himself? I guess that explains why Silhou looks the way she does, and I really like it. I think she looks so colorful and pretty. Personality wise, I think Silhou was meant to be much like Sonic. Carefree, cool, adventurous, but also being reckless, impatient, and overconfident. I headcanon that much like Blaze, Silhou also has fire powers though they're far more dangerous than Blaze's since they're so wild and burn hotter.
Going off on a tangent here, it's likely because of her destructive power and untamed spirit that she was exiled from the kingdom. Her family probably didn't appreciate her casual nature and wanted her to act the part of a princess which felt suffocating to someone like Silhou. Even if she wasn't exiled, she probably left of her own accord since what was expected of her didn't align with what she wanted out of life. Plus, her powers are very dangerous and like Sonic, Silhou cares deeply for the people around her. She probably left both because she wanted to see the world but also to protect the kingdom from getting swallowed up in her flames. Either way, the result is the same. Silhou is not a part of Blaze's life growing up and left almost nothing aside from old pictures for her family to remember her by. Blaze won't know who she is, but Silhou is smart enough to connect the dots should they ever meet.
Along with Silhou, I also know of another prototype for Blaze that most fans know already.
ProtoBlaze! She doesn't have an official name other than the ones fans give her and her story is nonexistent since I believe she was made early into Blaze's design process. I've seen someone name her Ember, which I love, and I've also seen someone liken her to Shadow and align her more towards his story. I like a lot of this, but I've got an idea of my own that I'll just put down here:
Silhou and ProtoBlaze are in fact one in the same. ProtoBlaze, who will be called Silhouette from this point onwards, is an additional form Silhou takes when her emotions become too much to handle. Kind of like Dark Sonic, only the difference is that Silhouette lasts much longer and her fire powers become that much more deadly, being able to burn through anything. Thankfully, it takes a lot for Silhou to reach this point so Silhouette doesn't usually appear.
Eventually, Silhou comes to accept Silhouette as part of her and over the course of her life Silhou becomes able to temper the dark forms flames, using them to achieve her goals.
With that final thought, enjoy these doodles:
Here are those doodles I promised, just more interactions between cousins as well as two doodles with April and May.
Heads up: I can't draw digital art because I have no tablet but traditional will do just fine. Anyway, so me and @possumsarenice made a TMNT Au centered around the Rise and 2012 boys being cousins. It was super fun to brainstorm ideas so I decided to draw a funny interaction between the two rat men we all know and love.
They are brudders.
And here, we have the lovely parents.....
......totally confused about how this even happened
My thoughts about the kid are below the cut if you wanna read
I'll be honest, I never gave em a name so if you're reading this feel free to just come up with one in the comments or something.
Aside from that, I did try to keep some things in mind when I drew them. I wanted to use triangles to make up the entire body but I thought it looked off and ended up harnessing Jax's twink energy. In hindsight I could've given the kid yellow ears and be done w/ it, but I couldn't resist reopening old wounds for good ol' Billy. Sometimes kids adopt traits from their grandparents and I wanted to reference Bill's parents in some way. Kinda makes me wonder if Bill would even accept this kid. Allow me to go on a little tangent if you please.
The creator of Gravity Falls himself answered that Bill's character is that of a spoiled kid that never grew up and that's completely true, but there's something deeper going on. Bill's immaturity stems from a deeply traumatic experience: destroying his own universe. We don't know specifically how or why he did it, but it still happened, and while Bill plays it off as "liberating" the flat minds of the people of his flat world in the show, we can see in his book that Bill regrets what he did. The benevolent God of Gravity Falls, The Axolotl, confirms it: "Saw his own dimension burn/Misses home but can't return." Bill even calls himself a monster in when we read his book, one that would eat Ford alive.
How does this relate to Bill's immaturity? Bill lives in denial. He can't face the reality that he killed everyone he knew and loved, so he tries to drown out their screams with unrestrained chaos. He needs to be distracted so he doesn't have to think about them anymore. Bill doesn't want to grow up, because that would mean acknowledging that he did and still does awful things to those around him. @praisetheaxolotl goes into better detail about Bill and his issues, if you're a Gravity Falls fan then you should take a look at their stuff I think they're awesome.
Back to the beginning, what does all this mean for the kid? Well, Bill probably isn't gonna care too much for their health or mental state. He may try to encourage them act as he does. Uncaring of others and disregarding guilt or remorse in favor of "fun." Honestly, Jax may do the same though I can't be absolutely sure of that. We don't have much on Jax's character when compared to Bill.
Man, it really is hard to make an interesting character with no trauma whatsoever. Guess that'll be something for me to try in the future.
....I drew a Bill Jax fankid....
God I haven't been able to draw anything these past few months, life keeps uppercutting me with reality checks left and right. Glad I'm able to doodle more player 2 au.
Nothing too special, honestly it's just more redraws of X and Zero but with Rock and Roll in their place.
The more and more I draw, the more I can't help but imagine this story and what this version of Megaman and Roll can do.
Here's some extra doodles I might do digitally under the cut
There’s no way that poppy will turn evil or sacrifice herself she’s so important to the game
Again, very valid, I mean she's the namesake of the game after all.
I just wonder what'll happen to Kissy, since all we got was a loud shriek off screen. I'm hoping that they don't kill her off either and that we can rescue her in the next chapter. Ngl I hoped we could've saved DogDay too when the trailers first came out.
i like a lot of things. fair warning, I have very sporadic updates. worry not, I'm not dead.
