My Hopes And Prayers Have Been Answered!!!

THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!!!!

Now that Supernatural is officially over after the 15th season, may I suggest a spinoff show with Jack?

This is perfect on so many levels to me!

The fandom needed more Uncle Ford and Nephew Soos bonding/family relationship!

Parenting’s hard, you’re never quite sure you’re doing the right thing…

So I’ve heard.

Based off my older brother and his dad-anxiety

Thinking about how I would write an adult Scooby-Doo series, because I think it can be done.

The first thing I’d do is make the characters actually be adults.  Still young, but adults, in the mid to late 20s range.  Mystery Inc. is a private detective type business that they run together.  In this universe, the supernatural/ghosts/etc are real, but not necessarily common, so when they take on a case, the culprit might be a person disguised as a monster, or it might actually be a real ghost.  The stakes can be higher; sometimes a bad guy is legitimately trying to kill them.  Sometimes the mystery they’re trying to solve is a murder.  Sometimes they actually get hurt on their cases.

Fred: the core of Fred’s character should be that he’s incredibly kind.  Like, give a stranger the shirt off his back kind.  The “Fred can’t talk to potential clients because he might take a case for free and we need to eat” kind.  He’s an honest and good person and sometimes gets himself into trouble because he assumes other people are too.  While he’s not very good at reading people or noticing ulterior motives, he’s brilliant when it comes to mechanical or engineering type stuff, so he’s the one who keeps the mystery machine running, builds their gadgets, and of course, designs the traps.

Daphne: she comes from old money, and her parents absolutely despise her life choices, to the point where they haven’t officially disowned her, but they have basically cut her off, so she doesn’t actually have access to any family money.  Growing up wealthy has granted her a variety of skills, including speaking multiple languages, horseback riding, and fencing.  She’s very into fashion and jewelry (even if she can’t afford it anymore) and has extensive knowledge of both that can occasionally provide a vital clue in a case. And even though her parents have cut her off, Daphne still has a wide network of contacts she can ask for favors sometimes, because she’s personable, and people tend to like her.  Daphne is also very emotionally intelligent, and is usually the one who can spot when someone is lying to them.

Side note - I ship Fred and Daphne, so I think I would start them off as an established couple for this universe.  Dating, engaged, married, I don’t care.  They are stupidly in love, ride or die for each other.  There’s no will they, won’t they, no worries about cheating.  They are in a healthy, happy, loving relationship, and no one (not even Daphne’s disapproving parents) are going to mess that up for them.

Velma: she is the forensics nerd who sometimes gets super excited about the wrong thing at the wrong time (”He was mummified in seconds? That’s so cool!” “Velma!  His wife is standing right there!” “Oh.  Sorry.”).  She’s not purposely insensitive, she just gets laser focused on her work and forgets to filter herself sometimes.  She’s also the one who can get so fixated on solving whatever mystery they’re working on, she’s willing to bend or maybe break laws.  Is breaking and entering really so bad?  Not if it gets them answers.

Shaggy: he is still the comic relief, but he’s the comic relief by being the only person in the group that actually has common sense.  He manages the business’s finances, he’s the only one who knows how to cook, and the others tease him for being a coward sometimes, but Shaggy maintains that if a ghost with an axe is coming for you, running is the only sensible option.  He should also have a range of random knowledge that sounds useless, but sometimes saves the day (ex ventriloquism, origami, the history of spoons, etc).

Scooby: as this is a universe where supernatural creatures exist, Scooby is an ancient eldritch type being that took a shine to Shaggy when he was a kid, and took the form of a talking dog to befriend and hang out with him.  Aside from the talking dog bit and not aging, he never uses his powers in a way that anyone notices.  The audience is not told upfront that Scooby is an ancient eldritch being; it should slowly be hinted at throughout the series so the audience put it together, but the characters never realize it.  Scooby genuinely considers Shaggy to be his best friend, and cares about the rest of the gang too.

I JUST HEALED FROM BOTH FANDOM’S TERRIBLE ENDINGS! DON’T MAKE ME CRY AGAIN!

Why…why was Derek Dean’d?!?! Neither one deserved it! (I know why, terrible writers that wanted to kill the main fan ship) (that or now with everything going on, the writers were probably weren’t paid enough)

The fact being that this makes Stiles his Castiel hurts too because:

We never gotten the closure that we needed and wanted from his character

He gave the person he loves a personal item of his that he cares about because he knew the other person would take care of it (until the day they die)

He wasn’t there when the love of his life sacrificed himself, but if he was, he would have stopped him/wouldn’t have wanted to end like that

He knew that they both loved each other but never gotten the chance to give a proper confession/allow the other person to confess their feelings back

…This is why fanfics are better than canon!

i know we joke that derek got castiel’d but actually he got dean’d.

got a kid that is the carbon copy of the man he loved

was never able to tell the guy he was in love with him

deeply closeted with a bunch of dead ex-girlfriends

held on to a something of his S/O that was significant to them, even though he knew/was sure the other would never come back (the jeep/the trenchcoat)

died a pointless, miserable death due to bad writing, in a post-ending add-on to his main story

disgustingly, offensive hot

After hearing Mabel previous statement, something clicked with Ford, “Wait....you’re a Cordaroy?”

“Yeah..... what is it to you?” Wendy is confused enough as it is, now Stan #2 Stanford questioning her family name.

Ford looked shocked but continued, “Is your father Dan Cordaroy?”

Now everyone else is confused, how the hell does Ford know Manly Dan?

Wendy still does trust this guy at all but now, she just wants some answers since this guy knows her dad. “Yeah, he is. How do you know my dad?”

With that information, Ford surprisingly relaxed a bit, only in the slightest though. His shoulders drop but his hand was still on the gun he was pointing at her face moments before.

“Dan build my house back in 1975 when I first moved here after college.”

A very loud “What?!” Echoed though the basement startling Ford making him jump again. “This is definitely not lining up with my fanfiction.”

“My dad build the shack?”, somehow getting more questions them answers.

“That makes no sense, my dad never once said he build the shack nor said that he met “Stan Pines” before.”, Wendy’s dad was always proud of everything he made and always talk about them.

Ford didn’t have time for this. They’re losing time to help Stan even though he’s still mad at him.

But he knows if he doesn’t explain even the most insignificant detail, he’s going to be bombarded with unnecessary questions.

He just sighs and states plainly: “Well your father did indeed build my house many years ago since he was the only contractor in the town. He even let me stay at his cabin while in construction, that was actually how I have my first ghost encounter.”

That answered some questions everyone had but, still rosed some more.

Wendy started rubbing her temples. Great now she’s getting a headache. “You know what? I’ll figure all of that other later.”

Her eyes then drifted over to the unconscious Stan surrounding by candles, “More importantly someone, without talk too fast, explain to me what the heck happened to Mr. Pines!?

You know those AUs and fics where Stan is badly injured/dying in NWHS when the portal opens, and it forces Ford to react differently when he steps out?

Imagine Stan being more exhausted than he was in canon (after all, he was fighting off agents, sprinting across town, and getting thrown around the basement, and adrenaline is one heck of a drug but still)…exhausted to the point that when Ford punches him in the face, Stan just straight up passes out

I’m just picturing Ford going “OH CRAP DID I REALLY HIT HIM THAT HARD” and Soos freaking out that “MR. PINES IS DEAD” and Mabel and Dipper still being like “WHAT IS H A P P E N I N G”

(and Stan will be fine, of course, but Ford’s potential reactions in this scenario are hilarious to me for some reason)

Ok, this is my first time doing this so, this is what I wrote recently for my new chapter I’m writing.

“So what are you doing in Gravity Falls?”

“I’m looking for human trash! Or should I say “collectibles” to sell back home.”

Stan was confused.

1) Where is “back home” for her anyway because she definitely not from this dimension.

2) How the heck is she able to sell trash and make money of of it?!

“How are we twins?” Dipper mumbled, shaking his head but the smile on his lips betrayed him. He held his plate out for a piece of pie too.

“Because you love me.” Mabel munched on the pie happily, kicking her legs carefully.

“Hm, nah,” he nudged her playfully, munching on his own pie just as happily.

Life is pretty good anyway, isn’t it? If you just look in the right places and moments, there is a lot to treasure.

Been working on this since yesterday and stayed up till 4 and still didn’t finish until today. 😭 I CANT LIE I was so tempted to just NOT do this at all, but I’m so glad I did because it was a lot of fun to draw.
