Anyways !!! As I prepare the upcoming A Human Condition poster duology, I had to make face reference sheets for Bill because holy artwork, does these poster require some intricate choices, and oh my gosh, I gave him such a cunty face card 😭

Honestly, I can’t tell which face I like more 😭 I wanna lean more towards Billy because I swear I captured the look of hope so well, but then Bill is there and god damn do I love how threatening he looks (not sure if you can see the faint red in his iris LOL) Default is actually a little silly to me, I didn’t mean to give an arch brow, but now I can see this guy holding an arch brow as default 💀

Bill would probably get stuck in a “Don’t hug me I’m Scared”-esque Nightmare loop of this with Euclydia burning down and everyone screaming in terror in the background, then wake up in a panic and absolutely not talk about it the next day in therapy 😂😂

The Seven Stages of Writing:

1. Having the best idea for a story

2. Making a bunch of character sheets, plot outlines, snippets of scenes and playlists for inspiration

3. Sitting down to actually write the story

4. Realizing halfway through you don’t know anything about *insert random topic here* and go down an Internet rabbit hole to become an armchair expert while bullshiting the finer details and hoping no one notices.

5. Getting stuck for too long on a scene/ trying to make a character or plot Do A Thing™️ it’s not doing without it being contrived.

6. Wallowing about how terrible your writing is and how the whole story is basically a dumpster fire that should never see the light of day.

7. Going back to edit the whole thing and realizing it’s an absolute masterpiece and you were worried about nothing all along.

The chapter update is coming tonight guys. It’s just taking a little longer than anticipated. 😮‍💨

The stormy weather the past few days has helped with the writing though 😉
