When I tell you that I have read fanfic characterizations so OOC that they'd classify as an original character, trust me I have read THOUSANDS. But you know what I don't do? :) Tell the author of those fanfics that they might as well classify that character as an original character if they're going to write them like one. I’m planning a fic set during a hypothetical future edition of the games, which means I need to come up with a new cast of characters to interact with the existing ones who’ll be involved

can anyone think of any believable reasons why people would be joining the game, which haven’t already been done repeatedly? I’m trying not to inadvertently copy canon characters but there are only so many ways I can think of to get into vast amounts of debt

I’ve got a couple of ideas but if anyone feels creative and has any thoughts please let me know!!

re: prev post, when it said ‘those 1k word fics that will cause you permanent trauma because of how sad they are’ I felt so called out bc I adore those and I also love writing them 😭

I just realised that to meet my planned publishing schedule for the upcoming sg serial fic I need to have the prologue and first two chapters finished four weeks from now, pretty much to the day (planned release date is every saturday) plus enough extra material written ahead so that I can stay on track

which means I need the jibyeok and ji-yeong fics done ASAP because I am not a quick writer
