Today I got to skype with Andrea, this precious 7 year old trans girl. She’s my friends cousin and she never got to speak with another trans woman before. When we started the first thing she says is “you have pretty hair” and we started talking about being a girl.
The first thing I asked her is i said “have u ever spoken to another trans girl?” she didnt know what trans meant she was like “ummmmm….i don’t know” in her adorable high pitched voice so i said “me and you are trans girls sweetheart bc we were boys at first’ (i dumbed it down cuz shes 7) and then she said “well being a trans girl is cool!” and I told her “yeah it is!”
I asked her about her family and she told me her parents love her so much ^_^ she said her mom bought her dresses and her sister is gonna teach her make up and she was so happy I could tell how wonderful her family was.
She told me about how other kids she knew bullied her about her gender and I started to tear up and I told her “you don’t have to listen to those people. You’re such a beautiful girl and you’re gonna grow up to be so pretty and so happy I promise” and she made me pinky swear so I did bc she’s perfect and cute.
When the call came to an end she told me she to be like me when she grows up and i started fucking sobbing and she asked why i was crying and i told her “I’M SO PROUD OF YOU” and she said she was proud of me too.
This is what every young trans girl deserves. Trans girls deserve to be trans girls no matter how old they are. Andrea is being given so much love and that’s exactly what little trans girls deserve.
Protect trans girl children. Protect them with everything in your power. Do all you can to make sure these angels grow up to be happy and loved. They’re so vulnerable to this horrible transmisogynist hellhole - protect them please. They all deserve to be happy and beautiful women.
Just so you guys know, mucinex interacts INCREDIBLY poorly with most antidepressants, especially Zoloft. It not only almost completely negates the effects of your antidepressant, it also has terrible effects on your body. (Frank wouldn’t even let me read all of them because he thought it would just scare me more, but he said do not take them together again)
I found a website where you can check for possible interactions with any medicine:
http://www.rxlist.com/drug-interaction-checker.htm
Sudafed seems to have fewer negative interactions with physiatrics, but it’s still a good idea to check.
Be safe this cold/flu season, my friends.
As per request (thanks, singingrabbitskull!), I did a half-tutorial, half-sporadic notes on how I generally render basic expressions.
There’s already a lot of cool tutorials that exist on how to do expressions, so I tried to just look at a lot of really minor details that I’ve used but haven’t seen commonly passed down.
required disclaimer: this is just how I go about it, feel free to ignore bits, steal bits, do whatever you want with them. Hope this helps, and if you have any questions scream at my inbox!
- Not taking your child’s injuries seriously when they’re younger, may make them feel like they can’t tell you anything when they’re older. - PLEASE let your kid take personal days once in awhile once they reach highschool. - Grades are NOT everything. You can get plenty of well paying jobs now without having to go to college. - Really strict parenting leads to sneaky kids. Trust me. - Let them be who they want. They can’t change who they are, whether it is sexual orientation, gender identity or anything else. They need someone to support them. - ^ Never say “you’re too young to know” - ¼ teenagers deal with a mental illness of some sort (in the U.S). Please make sure they’re okay. - You can’t MAKE them chose an educational field. - Even an A+ student who’s a star athlete can be suicidal. - MENTAL HEALTH COMES FIRST - Self harm is more common than you think amongst teenagers. It’s also not always cutting (or on wrists). Be aware. - Sex ed. doesn’t teach them anything. - Tattoos and piercing aren’t “unprofessional” anymore - If they have depression, please DO NOT call them lazy. It’s almost the worst insult you could say. - If their grades are dropping for no reason, ask about it. Don’t assume things. - Most teenagers don’t have high self esteem. Don’t make it worse. - School is much harder now than it ever has been before. - Not everyone on the internet is a predator - It’s normal to have internet friends now - Take them seriously
