You can get away with it a few times without it ruining the story, but by building the whole franchise off of it, you have created a disaster. Not only did their trash writing kill an interesting character who needed more depth and is way smarter than portrayed (she knows better than that, she has been on earth, she knows what shes doing, she shouldn't be fucking dying in the first episode like an absolute dumbass, that's not her fucking character) Maria, but they took a potentially good storyline of fury not being the same as before and instead dumbed it down and used the blip as the reasoning. I'm tired of them causing more questions than answers provided. It's just lazy and truly undermines the hard work of other workers who are forced to work out this shit.
