bakugo’s first real crush.
when he’s getting these weird feelings and intrusive thoughts about you, and he gets embarrassed when you’re around. what did you even do to make his stomach tighten and his face go red?
bakugo is a man who had zero interest in romance (at least, publicly) so he’s thrown for a loop if it effects him on the field. what’s he supposed to do? can he ignore it? suddenly a relationship doesn’t sound so stupid.
he challenges himself more so you’re impressed, or he’ll joke around with you so you can talk to him a little longer. “joke”…. he’s joked around before, you didn’t know?? bakugo would tell you just that with a pout if you take him too seriously.
bakugo would start thinking he doesn’t have a chance because you probably think he’s a dickhead or sometimes he’s too mean, so he’ll mimic kirishima or deku, and try to compliment you but it’s awkward. “i like your pants.” “uh.. thanks?” “yeah.”
people don’t think he would think twice about being romantically involved, but here he is wondering if it’s worth a shot.
slow down, you’re doing fine
breath in, breath out. there’s no rush, no deadline, no need for desperation or worries. everything happens within you so lay back and relax. breath in, breath out. let it come to you, go with the flow, be at peace. breath in, breath out. it’s inevitable, natural, familiar. you have everything you need, you know everything you have to know so trust yourself and let go of the control. breath in, breath out. the impatience, the frustration are unfounded, recognise your feelings, name your emotions but don’t let them overpower you. you’re the one in charge, everything revolves around you. breath in, breath out. the past is gone, future doesn’t exist, presence is the only thing that matters. live in the moment, be now. breath in , breath out. you’re fine, just breath.

LIKE WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHEN I AM INTENDING TO SHIFT OR WTV THAT I SHOULDNT WORRY IF IT STILL FEELS LIKE MY CR
A/N: this is quite self-insert because ocd has been kicking my ass the last 4 months 😭 especially when what i'd usually be irrational/obsessive over is actually happening, but i don’t have specifics. but yeah, hope you enjoy :p <33 might make a part 2 of this somehow, or other characters
content tidbits: hypochondriac and OCD reader, GN!reader, talk of obsessions and compulsions, fear of illness (cancer mentioned bc that's one of my fears brought on by my own OCD, as well as random body happenings that could be health related), swearing, anxiety/panic attacks, UA bakugou and reader (what year is up to u), therapy/doctors appointments, platonic relationship, intrusive thoughts, reader isn't initially medicated or getting treatment but does through the fic, essentially hurt/comfort and fluff :) also maybe OOC katsuki. also brief mention of possible OCD katsuki

Briefly proofread
Linked this song because it reminds me of how OCD feels :p
it was known to the people you felt close to that you suffered with anxiety- but to what extent?
yourself and bakugou were at a point of closeness and security within your friendship, to where telling him felt alright.
when bakugou found out you had OCD initially, his first thought was just 'oh, they don’t like mess and are a clean freak', because yknow, stereotypes.
but then you told him what it entailed, he took it in. you talked about your persistent health anxieties and scares, the way they plagued you and tormented you.
"That's fucking dumb, though. Like- you'd know if you were actually sick." He'd say.
"But that's the thing, I don't." You explained. "I don't, regardless of symptoms or not, and that freaks me out. And when I can feel something, the only way I can deal with it is to prod or feel at it."
You explained to him some moments this type of thing happened; in one case, you had odd, painless bumps in random places, and the trigger of its unknown cause sent you spiraling. Petrified it was cancer, you went on an internet deep dive, kept seeking external reassurance, feeling at it 24/7- and rather than this helping, all you felt was fear.
The next was a random pain near your rib. Was it a punctured lung? But then a pain on your head- a tumour?? Then your knees felt different sizes- are your bones shrinking???
He listened, trying to recall times you may have been out of it or panicked for what to him, seemed like for no reason. And it started to click. Realising it extended even further than the health anxieties too. Past traumas, or fears, or habits. It made sense. And it made him feel an ache of sadness for you in his chest. But also pride, for the fact you go through this daily.
In saying that, after you left, he went into full research mode on the types of OCD you had talked about, on how they worked, triggers, compulsions, and how to support you.
He wouldn’t admit it directly, but after hearing how it gets to you, then seeing it in real time, made him feel helpless. Until you got support professionally, he was slightly frantic.
He made a promise to be there for you, any time, if you were having a mini episode, or major. Which he didn’t expect to be..... a lot. But he kept the promise.
1:34am the clock on your phone read. You were tired, sore, stressed. Your hand went to the odd shaping on your back yet again, a nervous shiver going through you. You tried to rationalise. 'It's probably just some muscle. Or some kinda benign growth. Or just my body being weird again.
Or maybe it's a tumour-'
The intrusive thoughts kept scratching inside your brain, urging you to keep poking, shifting, looking for an answer you knew wouldn’t come.
You remembered his words: "If you need me when it happens, fucking come to me. I don’t care when, do it. You shouldn’t be alone with this. And don’t you dare feel bad."
Slipping out of bed, you quietly made your way from your dorm to his, careful to not be disturbing to your classmates.
You go to his dorm, and knocked loud enough.
"Fuck off." You heard from behind the door, the angry voice of Katsuki.
"Katsuki? It’s just me. You don’t have to, but I'm having a hard time with my OCD, and wanted to kno-"
Before you could finish the sentence, the door opened. "Get in." He said softly, looking at you half asleep, yet with concern.
Once in, he closed the door, opened the balcony door to let in a soft breeze, and sat on the bed with you. After a moment, he spoke.
"What's it doing now?"
"My brain won’t stop." You respond, voice tight and exhausted. "I keep finding new bumps, or growths, or whatever the fuck, and even though they don’t hurt or do damage, my brain is still saying cancer. Which is dumb, because I'd know if it was by now-"
"It's not dumb." He interupts. "Ok, yeah, worrying about a worst possibility that you don’t even know whether it's true or not is kinda stupid. But don’t beat yourself up over it. It is scary. Not knowing fucking sucks. But none of this is your fault. Yeah, you'd probably know by now. But you're allowed to just observe it, without making it some kind of evil situation. Give yourself some grace, dimwit. You have every right to be scared. Especially since this matters to you so much. But don’t- don’t let it consume you. You know you're fucking strong. So... know regardless, you can beat whatever is going on. Serious or not."
You looked at him, tears of appreciation, but also overwhelm, pooling in your eyes. He scoffed softly, but not in anger, more so in understanding, and pulled you close, both under the covers, and your face to his chest.
"Just cry it out, idiot. You need to at this point."
So you did. Allowing yourself to feel everything, let everything crash out of you, with him anchoring you. He gently eased and shushed you if you started hyperventilating, the crying turning into a spiral of panic. He whispered soft, encouraging words into the top of your head.
"Its okay. You're gonna be okay, regardless of what happens. This isn’t something you'll do alone. We'll get you the help you need, and I'll be here when you need me to. Things will work out how they're meant to. Just because it's scary doesn’t mean it's impossible."
"I know. I know, i'm just so scared. I hate not knowing. I hate feeling like my mind is working against me, and my body is fucking acting on what I'm scared of-"
"Hey, hey, relax. You’re rambling." He says softly, shifting to wipe your tears. "I know. I hear you. As I said, it's no wonder you're scared. Being afraid of something with mixed signal signs of it sounds like hell. But again, one day at a time. You're asking for help- be proud of that. It's fucking hard to even acknowledge it sometimes. You already took the first step."
"That’s kinda rich from you, considering you bottle everything up." You respond, cracking a slight smile.
He laughed a bit, nodding. "Yeah, I know, I'm emotionally constipated, fuck off with what's obvious. But I mean it. Just because I have trouble doing it, and I ain't the best at comforting, doesn’t mean I won't try and help you. I care about you, fuckwad, even if I don’t say it. I really do."
Once settling down, he got you some water, and turned on his TV for some background noise, of something you both enjoy. You sat, talking, about your compulsions, triggers, fears, trauma, all of it. He listened, gave his input, and got what he needed from you in terms of what you wanted in support from him.
That night, with you against his warm frame, he slept well knowing you were there- regardless of what you had going on, he could be there.
And you slept well knowing he was there- knowing that despite any unknown health factors, legit or not, you'd have him.
From there, you decided to start looking into getting professional help. You went to Aizawa, with Katsuki nearby, to let him know of your situation. You came to an agreement that if you ever weren’t in a fit mental state for training or class, he would give you time to catch up, on the condition you would keep consistent with effort. He then informed the other staff of it, so it would be an all around agreement.
Once that was set, you found a place to go to get the help you needed, or at least a start. You started to gain coping strategies, ways to challenge compulsions or triggers, and more to generally work with until you would get advanced help. As for the physical side of things, appointments were booked, so hopefully that would be a steady process also. He vowed to be there throughout the process of getting any required diagnoses as well.
In the meantime, Katsuki was still there. Through any panic attacks, anxiety episodes, reminding you to do something else when he noticed your compulsions, and occasionally yelling at the rest of Class A if a trigger was mentioned when you were near. Which yes, is extreme, but he meant well.
He helped you identify other compulsions and obsessions outside of the hypochondria, and helped take notes on your physical and mental health for future appointments. He even went to your therapist briefly to ask how to support you, and how to work with you in times you couldn’t carry everything yourself.
No matter how hard it was for either of you to battle against the monsters in your mind, and unknown of your body, he kept his promise. You knew you'd be fine as long as you had him, and everyone else who cared for you, at your side.
If you ever feel alone or unsafe, reaching out to someone who will listen, is the first step. You are more powerful and stronger than you know 🩶
I feel like he has a lot of notebooks, not just for heroes but for other things he's into.
I think he loves conspiracy theories and mysteries so at 3 in the morning Izuku and Shoto are just on the phone talking about different theories they like.
I also think he's a theater nerd, but I feel like his favorite musical would be Hamilton because in some ways I feel like he relates to Alexander.
I can see him building Lego sets in his free time
I feel like Izuku is the type of person to say sorry when it isn't his fault or not complain too much (same lmao)
So let's say that the class went out for lunch at some restaurant and Izuku ordered one thing and got something else.
He would not say anything
He doesn't want to bother the staff
(I may be self projecting here but eh🤷♀️)
I feel like the reason he doesn't listen to the adults when they tell him to back off on saving people when he knows he's hurt is so that he doesn't feel like a burden.
I feel like Pro hero Izuku would like dye his hair or sit in an Ice bath or do some random fun stuff for charity.
I honestly feel like I'm becoming a my hero blog. Anyways here's a short thing I came up with. Hope it wasn't too depressing 💚
#Drafts Dump #WeDieLikeMen:Stupid&WithoutSpellcheck
Mean, sarcastic, genius, handsome, panty dropping Neurosurgeon Dr Bakugou Katsuki Head of the Neuroscience Department at UA hospital known as as Dr. BOOM BOOM to all the the interns and even the residents as a nasty cutthroat attending who has made more than a handful of interns drop out and a few residents cry; as well as that one time he made a fellow attending absolutely furious when she tried to hit on him and he told her to get out of his OR.
He's a complete asshole but he's the best of the best, so he gets to act like hot shit because he IS hot shit. He doesn't take shit from anyone not does he listen to the board of directors or the Executive committee when it comes to the way he treats his patients and he certainly doesn't listen to anyone when it comes to his OR.
So you can only imagine the shock of the entire medical staff, including Dr. Bakugous rival Dr. Midoriya (the number one general surgeon in the nation) when little old you the new, pretty cardiothoracic surgeon who just started last week tells Bakugou Katsuki to "shut the fuck up, I'm trying to do a Thoracic aortic dissection repair Dr. Bakugou and with all due respect no one here gives a shit about how you made a Michelin star chef cry last night for preparing your steak wrong." and he does.
He does shut the fuck up.
And everyones sure he's planning your murder when his eyes crinkle and he takes a step back from his patient on the table. But what they cant see is the predatory smirk under his surgical mask. What they dont know is he's absolutely. completely. smitten.
Deku almost passes out and if it wasn't for his scrub Nurse Ochako placing a hand on his back he might have.
Once the surgery is complete and the patient is stable you're one of the first to leave, Bakugou in his orange scrubs follows soon after having one of his residents close up.
You're taking off your scrub cap when he finds you. You know you're in for it when he makes a bee line straight for you. Not only did you disrespect him in-front of his medical staff and colleagues but you also did so in his OR.
You're about to apologize but before you can; he's towering over you at his full height 6'2 all broad shoulders as his arm shoots out to grab your forearm in gentle hold when he looks down at you. His eyes are searing, hungry and wild as he looks down at your smaller softer form and you feel like your knees might give out if it wasn't for the breath taking smile on his face and the pink dusting over his high cheekbones.
He calls you by name with a doctor attached to the front as he demands you grab coffee with him the least you can do for acting like a brat in his OR.
and you do, every morning, every late night shift and during your days off you can be found with the explosive blond.
A friendship forming between the two of you is frightening even your favorite attending Dr Shinsou comments on how the two of you are attached at the hip.
And its shocking to think that ruthless blood thirsty cutthroat Neurosurgeon Dr Bakugou Katsuki is wrapped around your dainty little fingers.
He opens every door for you.
Bring your coffee in-between consults and reminds you to drink water shoving a liquid IV in your hand and an orange hydro flask with his name engraved on it i.
Dr Kirishima head of Ortho almost screams when he sees you drinking from his officially dubbed work best friend's water bottle.
"y/n you might want to put that bottle back in the fridge before Dr Bakugou sees you with it. He threw a fit last time when one of the lab guys mistook the bottle for his own. Cleaned it with bleach and made the poor guy buy him a new one with his name engraved on it." he warns not wanting to see Katsuki blow his own chances with the new Cardio Surgeon because she drank from his water bottle.
with a confused look on your face you scrunch up your eyebrows and pout your lips, the gloss on them draws Kirishima's eyes to them and he has to tell himself not to blush at how adorable you are
"But Katsu gave it to me this morning after my transplant patient" you say taking another swig. "I don’t think it’ll be a problem but if it makes you feel better I'll return it to hi-"
But before you can finish your sentence you're cut off by warm hand wrapping over your own as you go to screw the top back on "Shut up shitty hair; Dr y/n can use my shit whenever she wants." he grunts stretching his arm over your shoulder to grab the bottle from your hand and bring it to your lips.
"drink more water shitty women or you might fall off your booster seat during your next surgery." he states eyes never leaving Dr Kirishimas a silent back off to his best friend who chuckles pretending to look at his pager.
"oh shoot gotta run" he supplies before making himself scares.
Its adorable and the head of ObyGyn Dr Momo cant help but gush about how she saw Dr.Bakugou braiding your hair in the attending lounge one early morning before some big surgery.
The Nurses begin to talk about how they notice the two of you arrive together and leave together regardless of your shifts.
Dr Ashido swears she saw Bakugou hand you your signature pink scrubs in the locker room from HIS bag.
And the rumors go on and on until the sleep specialist and your childhood friend, Dr Shinsou brings it all to a climax when he tells all the attending in the cafeteria that he saw you exiting the building with Dr Bakugous car keys one late night when the neuro surgeon got held back for an emergency surgery. Throwing in a little “they bicker like a married couple as it is”.
But what really seals the deal is one particular morning you come rushing in on your day off running toward the the OR greeting your collages with a quick "hey!" or "morning" dressed in a pair of grey sweats and an orange sweatshirt two sizes too big for you. You run right up to Bakugou screaming "Katsu! wait I got it!" as you see him reach for a plain disposable scrub cap. With a sigh of relief Bakugou turns away from his surgical Team consisting if: Dr. Todoroki, Dr Denki, Dr. Midoriya, Dr. Shinsou, Scrub Nurse Ochako, and Dr.Tsu.
"Oh thank God, I did not want to wear that shitty fucking Scrub cap" he complains bending down to your height as you reach into your pocket and pull out his signature grenade print scrub cap placing it on his head.
"I know thats why I jumped out of bed when I saw your text. Why didn't you call me!" you complain as you knot the back.
"I didn't want to wake you up on your day off, Princess." he responds with absolutely no sarcasm in his voice. Patiently waiting for you to let him know you're done before returning to his full length.
"wake me up next time. I'm taking your mom grocery shopping anyways so I needed to be up." you finish patting his shoulders twice before kissing his nose as he stand up.
"whatever shitty woman, dont let that old hag start putting silly ideas in your head now. You two together are fucking trouble." grunts Turing away from you only to be met with four pairs of bulging eyes and one pair of smug ones as Denki hands over $100 to the Dr in purple scrubs.
"what the fuck are you extras looking at!" he exclaims pulling you into him as he places a kiss on the top of your head as you laugh telling him "I'll see you at home" before making your exit.
and the next words that leaves Dr Bakugous lips do make Dr Midoriya pass out.
"Can I not fucking kiss my wife!? get back to fucking work!"

× × × × × × ×
Ojiro
Ojiro was another one to not have many bad days, but when he did have them, he didn't get mad or moody. Just all sad. Of course, you are there to cheer him up whenever it's needed.
One day, after a long stressful day, he needed some cuddle time with you as you rubbed his back. So when he got home and saw you at the table, on your phone, he immediately went and hugged you from behind.
You smiled back at him. "I didn't hear you come in, hey." You kissed his cheek.
"I missed you," He whined and you chuckled softly, grabbing your phone and standing up.
"Lets get you changed and lay down, okay," You ask, already knowing the answer.
"Okay," He says quietly, kissing your cheek, which made your smile brighter.
You got him up to your guy's bedroom and threw him clothes. He got changed, along with you and you laid down so he could lay on you chest.
When you started rubbing his back, his taild wrapped around your leg, making you smile.
You put him to sleep pretty easily and you woke up with him absolutely glued to you.
Shoji
After a long day of listening to Bakugou's yelling and Denki accidentally electrocuting him, he was over it. You were in the shower when he got home and took no time to join you.
He startled you at first, since you didn't hear him, but quickly recovered and kissed him.
"Hey babe! How was work," You ask, wrapping your arms around his hips.
He sighed and used every arm to pull you close to him. "Fucking terrible."
You frowned and started kissing his cheek. "You wanna talk about it?"
He goes on about his long and annoying day as you rub his back and use your nails to scratch it gently. He sighed at the feeling and laid his head on your shoulder.
"Come on. Lets clean up and have some dinner. I haven't eaten yet and I know you haven't," You say, moving up to kiss him.
He kisses back, happy to finally have you in his arms. "Okay. Turn around, let me clean you," He says, using three hands to turn you around, the other three grabbing stuff to clean you.
You giggle gently and let him clean you and you do the same for him before you get out the shower and make dinner for him.
Momo
Momo was known as the "rich girl" in school. Well at least outside of class 1-A and 1-B anyway. They knew her well enough. But the rest of the school was convinced she got where she was with money.
She hated this, but never brought it up. Especially when her classmates, and even some kids from class 1-B defended her when they heard this. No because Kirishima almost punched a third year, Bakugou as back up.
So some people thought she bought her place in class? So what? And so what that they never suspected Iida even though they were equal in about everything? It doesn't matter. It just doesn't.
She tried to convince herself of this, but no matter how many times this was repeated, it never stuck. She still broke down over it, and then kept it to herself. You just happened to accidentally walk in on one of her breakdowns, while trying to give her the bag she left behind.
Now you sat on her bed, as she was silent and cried on the floor.
"Momo-," She cut you off, throwing an empty water bottle at your head and shook her head.
"No talking," You sighed with a nod. Instead, you sat by her and she instantly moved to lean into your side.
After a few minutes, she mumbled into your shoulder, "Okay, I wanna talk about it."
This led to her yelling at you. Okay, not AT you, but yelling as if to get her frustration out, pacing the room.
"I worked just as hard as ANYONE ELSE to get here! I can't go one day to walk down the hall without hearing "Daddy's Money" and its unfair!"
"Momo-"
"You NEVER hear Iida and Todoroki being called out for being rich! No, because they are men so they MUST'VE earned their place while I'm just a measly little lady who can't be smart or be strong!"
"Babe, I know-"
"I constantly stress myself out to earn my good grades just to be constantly bullied every single day by people that don't know me! It's embarrassing and its fucking degrading and I HATE it! They make me so angry-"
You covered her mouth and pinned her against the wall, catching her attention. "I understand, I get it, and we can continue to talk about this but it's 8 PM and you're yelling honey. I don't think you want the whole dorm building to hear, huh?"
Momo nodded, face turning red like she was embarrassed. You uncovered her mouth and kissed her. "Don't be embarrassed, it's okay. We can even go on a ride so you can yell all you want."
"...I would like that," She nodded.
"Okay, lets go."
By the way the class was ten times more defensive after that, they definitely heard all of it.
Koda
You stared at the snake in Koda's enclosure. You were at his house, helping with his daily check in. His room was huge, cage after cage with animal after animal.
"So why are you getting rid of the snake," You asked, looking over to where he sulked on his bed.
"Well... Snakes eat mice... And I have a hard time feeding him," Koda looked almost disappointed. "I feel bad because I know hes hungry but I get sad hearing the mice struggle."
You couldn't help but smile at him, at how kind hearted he was. "Listen babe, I'll feed the snake while you... Go feed brownie," You remember the three legged cat that hadn't been fed yet.
"Are you sure," He looked up to you and you kissed him.
"Mhm, and I'll let you know when he's done eating and everything so you don't have to walk in on it," He nodded and stood up, leaving.
You stared at the snake, nodding slightly. "I got this. Two mice, and it won't need to be fed for another week. Yep, I got this. For Koji."
You took hold of one of the mice and made the mistake of looking it in the eyes. "...oh no, you're cute... Like a little snowball... There are two other mice anyway."
You fed him the other mice with your eyes closed, then sighed as you closed the cage. You looked to the last mouse and your heart dropped.
"You're not snowball... SNOWBALL!"
Shinsou
Shinsou loved and cherished his sleep, when he could get it. Having insomnia did NOT help in the slightest.
So insomnia mixed with a mission that was constant for a week, no room for sleeping, made him very grumpy and frustrated.
All the heroes that worked that week were so tired, they were hallucinating and were taken to the hospital. He refused it though, just wanting to see you.
He sat in the car that drove him home, feeling like he was flying, and about to pass out. He kept hearing things. Bangs, scratches, whispering, quiet yelling. It felt like spiders were crawling over him.
Next thing he knew, he was at the door, Denki holding him up.
'Was Denki the one driving me,' He thought as he stared at Denki like he had two heads.
(Denki and Jirou weren't at the mission, just there to take Shinsou home to you. So they were completely fine.)
You heard the knock at the door while watching TV in your bedroom and got up, jogging downstairs. Your eyes widened when you saw Denki and Jirou at the door, holding Shinsou up between them.
"Hey Y/N! Before you freak out, he's 100% fine. Just hasn't slept for a week. He just needs sleep," Denki was quick to explain, calming you down.
"He looks like that because he's hallucinating. But he isn't in pain for anything," Jirou explained and you opened the door more, letting them in.
Shinsou looked to Jirou. 'When did she get here?'
"Just set him on the couch. I got him from there," You said, sighing.
They did just that, you thanked them and they left. You went in front of Shinsou, getting on your knees, your hands on his knees, and he didn't react in the slightest.
"'Toshi, baby, can you say something," You ask and he jumps a little.
"Wh- what..." 'Why is Y/N on the mission with me? She isn't a hero,' he thinks, not aware of much. "Wh- why are... Why are you here? I- it's not sa- safe," he stutters out.
"Baby you're home. We're both safe. Look around," You say rubbing his cheek gently.
He does and when he realizes he's home, he kind of freaks out. 'What happened? I was just fighting...' His thoughts are interrupted by that stupid banging, and looks around for it.
"What are you looking for, Hitoshi," You ask, confused.
"Th- the ban- banging."
You listen but here nothing. You chalked it up to the hallucinations. You move his face towards you.
"Can you make it to the bedroom," You say softly.
'Bedroom? I'm on a mission... No, why is Y/N here? It's isn't safe for her.' His thoughts were going crazy, the noises came back, the crawling feeling came back and he just broke down in tears.
"I c- can't fucki- fucking th- think," He practically shouts and you frown.
You pull him close and kiss his forehead as he cried. "It's okay, it's okay 'Toshi. I'm here."
He gripped onto tightly and you pull him on you as you lay down. He cries into your neck, not being able to stop the noises, and the feelings surrounding him... Until you grab his attention.
"Listen to me, baby. You're home and safe. I'm safe. The mission is over. I know whatever is happening right now is driving you crazy but it's okay. Go to sleep. You don't need to stay awake," You whisper gently in his ear, rocking him gently and rubbing his back.
"B- but the mi- missi-" You swiftly cut him off.
"The mission is over. You succeeded. You can sleep now, 'Toshi. You saved everyone. Just go to sleep," You say now moving to his hair.
After like 10 seconds, you feel his body go limp and his eyes close as he goes into a very deep sleep, relaxed by your magical hands and words.
It was over a day when Shinsou ACTUALLY woke up. He woke a few times to use the bathroom but fell right back to sleep.
He was starving, didn't feel like moving, he felt dirt after not showering for so long, his head hurt and was thirsty as hell.
Of course, you were there to help him. You made him lots of food and didn't make him get out of bed to eat it, got him tons of water, got him medicine for his headache, and then got him in a bath.
He didn't feel like standing or moving for long so you went with bath rather than a shower. You got in, straddling him and cleaning him up, while also rubbing his sore muscles.
All while you did, he whispers how much he loved you and missed you while he was on the mission.
You let him relax after cleaning him and he wants nothing more but to hold you, so you let him.
Despite the shitty state he was in, he couldn't be happier with you in his arms.
Monoma
Monoma was a cocky bastard but he had his insecurities as well. ONLY you got to see this. He was insecure about multiple things.
His looks, his height, his weight and even his personality. He wanted to change his personality, truly, but couldn't. Especially when you loved him the way he was. When he was feeling insecure, he went to you, and let me tell you, you HYPED him up.
One night, he had off work, and was waiting for you to come home.
See, he kept himself pretty skinny but stronger and he never really LIKED it, but it was useful for copying different quirks and keeping his body ready for a quick change of quirks.
He didn't like looking in the mirror and seeing that he was as skinny as he was. But he couldn't change it, since it would interfere with his hero work.
He was thinking about this that night, sitting on the couch, waiting for you to come home and cheer him up.
He didn't hear you come in or call his name but did feel you climb onto his lap.
"Hey, what're you thinking about so deeply? You didn't hear me," You say, kissing his forehead.
"...do you love me," He asks quietly, like he was expecting a no.
You looked at him weirdly. "Of course I love you, I love you more than anything. Why," You run a hand through his hair.
He ignores your question. "Do you love my body," He asks, voice kind of shaky now.
You frown. Of course, you've seen him break down before, being married for a year, but together for 5. So you caught onto what was wrong.
"Babe, of course I love your body. It's perfect," You say, pouting and kissing him gently.
He can't help but kiss you back, pulling you close. "You always make me feel better."
You laugh softly. "I barely said anything."
"Still, it made me feel much better Y/N," He says, rubbing your back and kissing your jaw.
"Come on dork, it's bedtime. We're gonna cuddle and go to sleep," You say, pulling him up and to the bedroom.
He just follows and obliges, knowing it made you happy.
Tamaki
He didn't have having bad days, as far as he was concerned. The anxiety attacks and being nervous were just part of his daily life now, so he was used to it.
But ever so often, they got to the point where he actually couldn't breathe and panicked even more, because he couldn't take an actual breath, making it worse. This was happening one day, after a successful mission.
Successful meaning you and the rest of the heroes got all the people that were alive, out, and got the villains. Now you worked with Fat Gum at his agency, and were always there to help with panic or anxiety attacks that Tamaki had.
So you were with him on this mission.
You've been a hero for more than 2 years longer than him and his friends, so you were used to seeing very graphic things, and didn't think much of it.
But Tamaki was a different story.
Like the great hero he was, he kept his cool during the mission, so you really didn't think much of him seeing all the bodies and blood. It wasn't until after the mission, you noticed how every single younger hero looked traumatized.
Nejire, Mirio, Tamaki, and Kirishima. They looked like they were going to pass out.
"Damnit, we forgot about how they're new to the bigger missions," Fat Gum says from beside you.
"Uh huh," you say, agreeing. Now that you remember, the scene was extremely gruesome and couldn't have been great for one of their first missions as actual proheroes.
Tamaki, along with the rest of them, couldn't get the picture of the scene out of their head.
Then he passed out. You were quick to catch him before he hit his head on the hard, marble floor. The rest looked like they were going to do the same.
Fat Gum got some people to calm them down while you took care of Tamaki. All of them were having panic attacks in less than five minutes.
Tamaki was probably having the worse one he's ever had, but you were able to get him to look at you, through his struggled breathing and full on panic.
"I know, I know, it was scary. I'm so sorry you had to see that. But Tama, baby, I need you to focus on breathing. I know it's hard to think about anything else but I need you to really focus," you say, holding his face.
You guys sat in the corner of the room, you hiding him from eyes, knowing he hated to be seen by anyone but you during these.
He listens to you and really, really fucking tries.
"There you go, Tama. You're doing great. So great. Just keeping doing that," you say as you feel his breathing get better in the slightest.
After a minute or two, he speaks. "I- I feel li- like throwing up."
You get a trashcan and put it in front of him, and he threw up. You rubbed his back and looked back to see the rest of them doing the exact same thing.
When he was done, you noticed his head was struggling to stay up.
"Are you just dizzy or do you feel like you're going to fully to pass out," You ask, holding his head straight.
"Dizzy," He crokes out.
You nod and pull him close, his head against your chest, arms wrapped around you. He held you like his life depended on it.
It was a long night for the four of them, and you drove Kirishima to Bakugou's place, Mirio to his Dad's, Nejire to her Dad's and Tamaki went home with you.
You walked into your shared apartment and you went straight to the bathroom after take your shoes off. He was very quiet. More than usual.
So you started a shower and got him in it. You washed all the dirt and blood off of him, and he stood there, silent and wanting to get the images out of his head.
"Turn around, baby," You say softly, and he turns to face you. You massage his chest and kiss him gently. "I love you so much, Tama."
"I love you too, Y/N," Ye says, softly.
You move him under the water and start to wash his hair of all the dried mud and blood.
"Are you hungry," You ask, scratching at a spot where mud had fully dried.
He nodded his head as you finally got the mud out. "Well, I'm clean and everything so how about you finish up here and I go make us some food, okay," You ask and he nods.
You kiss him gently before getting out and getting dressed before going downstairs and making what you could with the stuff you had.
Once he's done, he walks downstairs and sits down at the table. You hand him some food, and he starts to eat slowly.
You stand behind him and rub his back and run your hand through his hair.
After half of it of his food gone, he looked sick again. You got him the trash can and he threw up. You weren't surprised. You did this on your first gorey mission too.
"I'm sorry," Tamaki whispered, after he threw up.
"You don't have to apologize for anything. You can continue to eat or not, whatever you feel comfortable with. I'm going to go check on the rest of them, okay," You ask, running your fingers through his soft hair.
"You're leaving," He questions, looking up to you with a worried face.
"Oh no. Just calling them. I'm staying here as long as you need me," You kiss his forehead and move to the other room to call Bakugou.
He answers with a groan. "Who the fuck is it?"
"Drop the attitude. I'm calling to check on Kirishima," You say, rolling your eyes.
"Oh. L/N. He's uhm... Is it normal for him to be throwing up this much," He asks, sounding worried.
"Uh..." You heard Tamaki throw up again. "Yes, Tamaki's doing the same thing. Make sure he gets rest and water and he should be fine... Don't be surprised if there are nightmares," You leaned against the wall behind you.
"You never told me what happened," He says, like you're dumb.
"We went on a mission with Fat Gum, Tamaki, Nejire and Mirio. It was worse than we thought it was when we got there. There were a lot of bodies and blood. Not something they should be seeing so early on in hero work," You explain, banging your head slightly.
"So... He just saw a gruesome scene," He seems like he trying to understand the problem there.
"I know it doesn't SOUND bad, but you weren't there. All the blood on him? That was just from getting survivors out, with no fighting. It's hard for someone his age to see something like that, whether you want to believe it or not, Bakugou. Now I gotta call Mario's and Nejire's dad. Keep me updated," You say, and hang up after he agrees.
The same thing was happening with Mirio and Nejire. After making sure they were OKAY though, you got back to Tamaki and put him to bed.
It took him a good hour to fall asleep in your arms but eventually, did.
You watched him sleep and hated how that day went.
Aizawa
Like Shinsou, he loved his sleep, which was hard to get when being a teacher and a hero. So when he went a few days without a minute of sleep, he was grumpy as fuck.
You also had your job so you didn't see him a lot, but kept calling him to check up. You noticed how snappy he got with you, which was rare to say the least.
You got home one night and saw Shinsou and Eri on the couch.
"Thank god you're home," Eri says, jumping into your arms, and you put her on your hip. She was starting to get too big for that.
"What's wrong," You ask, feeling the tension in the room.
"Dad's in a mood. He didn't yell at us or anything but he snapped at me. Eri has never seen it so it kinda freaked her out," Shinsou says, standing up and hugging you. "Welcome home though."
You smiled softly, hugging him back. "Thank you. And Eri, you know how to get grumpy when you haven't had your nap," You ask, propping her up higher on your hip after she nods. "That's what Dad is going through. He's okay and he's not mad at you or Shinsou. Just tired."
"Ooooh! Okay," she yells, understanding.
"Here, I'll get her ready for bed. I don't know when he'll be back from patrol," Shinsou says, taking Eri and she holds onto him, clearly not tired.
Shinsou was very tall now, so you had to tiptoe to kiss the top of his head. "You know I appreciate it when you take care of her."
Shinsou smiles softly and kisses the side of your head. "I know you do, Mom. Don't worry about it."
"Okay. Go do what you have to do. I'm gonna call your Dad," You said, ruffling his alresdy messy hair.
You went up to the bedroom and called Aizawa and immediately, he sounded ticked off.
"What," He asked, sounding annoyed with you.
"Just wanted to check up on you," You said, knowing snapping back at him would do nothing.
"I'm fine, Y/N. Why the hell would you call me just for that," He said, making you feel stupid.
Scratch the whole snapping back thing.
"I'm sorry I'm worried about my husband, after I come home to both of our kids worried about you as well. I know you're tired and haven't slept, but you better think before you have an attitude with your caring and loving wife, m'kay," You say, not with an attitude persay, but there was a tone there.
He went silent before speaking up. "I'm sorry, I know I've been fucking moody and all of that. I am done with patrol in like 30 minutes and I'll be home to get sleep and calm down."
"Okay, babe. I love you," You say, sitting down.
"I love you too," He says before you hang up.
About 45 minutes later, he gets home and you are there to greet him. You wrap your arms around his neck and he hugs you as you kiss him.
"Bedtime," You say, pulling him.
"I need to showe-," You cut him off.
"Bedtime, Shota."
He followed you to the bedroom, and got changed while you plugged in his phone. You pulled him on the bed and he laid on your chest.
"I love you, Y/N," He says, going to sleep.
"I love you too."
Hawks
Hawks looked like the most happy, cocky and confident person to survive when it came to his fans.
You were a different story.
You were there to hold him as he cried about his bad days, which he had quite a bit of. You were there to hold him when he ranted about not being good enough to be a hero. And you were there to reassure him that you loved him when he struggled with believing so.
One night, he just had a breakdown while you were at work. So when you came home and heard his uneven breathing and struggled sobs, you took your shoes off and found him on the kitchen floor, looking almost in physical pain.
You bent down to him and he only noticed you because you blocked his vision.
"Keigo, baby, look at me," He shook his head, tears falling like a river. You lift his head up yourself and wipe his tears away. "Take a breath, you're hyperventilating."
"I- I can't," he chokes out.
"Yes you can, it's okay," You take his hands out of his hair. He puts them on your waist as if he's afraid of you moving away. "I'm not going anywhere babe, it's okay."
It took him a minute but he started breathing a little more normally. You ran your hands through his messy hair and let him hold onto you, tightly.
"What's wrong," You ask, not stopping the hand in his hair.
"...we need to break up," He says, and you look down at him.
"Excuse me," You say, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm not good enough for you, Y/N," He says and you sigh, thankful that this was something you could talk him out of.
He watches as you stand up, and then pull him up with you. "Come on. You need to change out of your hero costume and then we're talking."
"But-."
"This is not up for discussion, Takami," you say, with a tone that makes Keigo agree instantly. He knew you well enough to know when not to fuck around.
He followed you into the bedroom and you took his jacket off and then pointed to the rest of his clothes. "Strip." Then you went to get him to start a shower.
He stripped his clothes and you pulled him in the shower with you. He sighed as you started cleaning his wings. You smiled softly as you watched them shake gently.
You two showered in silence, and washed each other. He looked exhausted.
When you two got out, you got dressed and you laid him down on your stomach, which he gladly took, holding onto you tightly.
"I'm sorry," He says, softly. You run your hands through his hair. "I don't want to break up. I just want you to be happy."
"I am happy. With you. Being without you breaks me, Keigo. I'm sorry I can't get you to understand that. But you don't have anything to be sorry for. I know. Just go to sleep," you say softly, now rubbing his bare back.
"...okay," he whispers and yoy let him cuddle into you.
"I love you Y/N," he says, falling asleep.
"I love you too."
Dabi
Dabi doesn't show emotions, much like his little brother. He tries. God, he tries so hard but it's hard for him. You've only seen it a few times. Those few times, were just barely, where he tells you he loves you.
When you walked into your shared apartment one day, and heard a glass shatter almost immediately, you jumped.
"Fuck," You heard him yell out, then a loud bang.
You went into the kitchen and saw him sinking to the floor, back against the wall. You saw the blood down his face, the red knuckles, the broken glass and the hole in the wall. You didn't freak out, but got some first aid stuff from the bathroom, then knelt down in front of him.
"Get the fuck away from me, Y/N," He said, his voice raspy and tried to push you away.
You smacked his hand away. "No."
"I wasn't as-," You stop him from finishing.
"You weren't asking? I'm not your EnEmY, Touya. Now, look at me," You say, grabbing his chin and lifting his bloody face up. You saw the blood coming from his eyes, and pooling in them. That had to hurt.
He doesn't fight you, but softens. You clean his face and then move to his hands. They were at least sprained. So you wrapped them up.
"How'd you sprain BOTH hands, and wrists," You ask, tightening the bandage.
"...I don't want to talk about it," His voice is strained.
"Okay," You say simply, then moved the first aid stuff out of the way and got him ice for his hands. "Come on, stand up."
He stands and you pull him to the bedroom, sitting him down on the bed and handing him the ice.
"Get comfortable. I'll be right back, Touya," You went to walk away but he stopped you.
"Please stay," He croaks out, and you turn back to see his eyes pooling with blood again. You grab a tissue and start wiping at the blood again.
"Calm down, babe. It's okay, I'm here," You say softly, as he looks you in the eye.
"You won't leave," He asks, grabbing your waist gently.
"No. Never. Now can you tell me what happened," You ask, letting him pull you into his lap.
"...Shoto knows who I am," His voice was very shaky, like he was about to break down. "He pulled me into an alley way and told me everything he knew before I could even react."
"Did he say he was going to say something," You ask, worried yourself.
"No. He just hugged me and said he missed me. I just... Did I do the wrong thing by running away? I didn't know he would miss me like that. He was almost crying, Y/N. I didn't want to hurt him, I didn't think he'd care," He looks broken.
"...running away wasn't a good choice, I won't lie to you. But it's not like you HAD a choice. It was that or get even more hurt," You say, rubbing his neck gently.
"But I hurt Shoto," He says, blood started to spill from his eyes again.
"Baby, you need to calm down for a second," You held him while wiping the blood away, once again.
It takes a few minutes for him to calm down and then you notice the tired look on his face.
"Do you want to go to sleep," You ask, running a hand through his hair.
"Yes. Is that okay," He asks, looking up to you, making you chuckle.
"Of course it is. We'll clean you up later. For now, arms up," You say, pulling them up. You take his bloody shirt off and he lays down, pulling you on him to cuddle.
"I love you so much, Y/N," He says before kissing you.
After you break apart from the kiss, you look him in the eye. "I love you too, Touya."
He knows you would never understand how much that truly means to him.
Shigaraki
It was getting late, and Shigaraki said he would be at your place hours ago. You naturally got worried, texting Toga. And she said he left awhile ago.
So you sat there, hoping he'd at least send a text. But no text, no call, nothing for hours upon hours. You eventually just go to sleep, hoping for the best.
Soon enough, you wake up to banging downstairs. You questioned if it was actually Shigaraki, until you heard "FUCK!"
That was definitely his voice.
You jogged downstairs to see he dusted a vase. "...I'll steal you a new one."
"My Mom's ashes were in that," You gave him a horrified look and he froze.
"...I'll dust you a new Mom?"
"Nah, she was a bitch anyway," Shigaraki huffed as you landed in his arms. "You're pouting, what's wrong?"
"I am not po- I do not pout," He almost looked offended.
You poked his bottom lip. "Then put this buddy away," You smiled softly and kissed him. "How about you rant as we make dinner together? I hear your stomach growling."
Toga
Toga was coming back from her mission within a few hours. You were waiting at your house, with food ready to just heat up and eat. You knew she didn't have much time to eat to take care of herself much at all during these longer missions.
You sat on the couch, on your phone with the lights off. It was dark, moonlight shining in and lighting it up pretty well.
Then your living room was suddenly bright. You looked outside, squinting against the light, and noticed it was the LOV van. You stood up, stretching snd approached the door as there was a knock.
There stood Dabi, holding a very dirty and tired looking Toga. "She's being dramatic, take her," Dabi huffed.
You took hold of her, her latching onto you with her arms around your neck, legs around your waist. "Thanks Dabi."
"Whatever," He mumbled, walking away.
You shut the door and looked down to Toga. "You want some food?"
"Mhm," She nodded, yawning.
After you guys ate, you got her into a bath. She was filthy, and it wasn't just on her clothes. Absolutely covered in blood and dirt.
You cleaned her up from outside of the tub, and she was practically passed out asleep. You didn't mind helping, especially after the long week she had.
Ever so often, her hand would grab yours as if she was unaware you were busy cleaning her. As if she was telling you to stop moving.
"Himiko, you gotta let go," You chuckled, trying to pull your wrist out of her grip.
"Bedtime," She mumbled, grip loosening just a bit.
"You can't go to bed covered in dried blood," You mumbled, cleaning off her arm.
Toga just hummed. You took your time cleaning her, checking for any cuts that had to be cleaned up. There were a few so you finished cleaning her of mud and dirt, and woke her up.
She was a little moody, but you still stood her out of the bath, and dried her off. She whined a little when you cleaned and bandaged up her cuts, but you got through it.
You brought her to the bedroom, got her dressed in just your shirt since she asked to be, put her hair up and finally, you two went to bed.
In the middle of the night, you woke up to her sitting up out of your arms quickly, gasping. You took a few seconds to process you were alive before looking to her.
She was shaking, and crying. "Hey, baby, what's wrong," You sat up next to her. You touched her shoulder and she jumped. "Okay, okay, I won't touch you."
You leaned over, turning a lamp on. "Himiko, it's okay," You sat by her, not touching her.
You continued to talk to her softly, eventually being able to hold her hand. She stopped crying eventually, but still shook. You pulled her into your lap and kissed her, letting her get comfortable.
"I love you, Y/N. I'm sorry," Toga yawned.
"Don't be sorry, it's okay. I love you too," You mumbled, turning the lamp off and leaning back in bed, holding her close.
