alrighty, character analysis time. shoutout to @affectionatecorpse for making me realize i can just rant about anything i want and sometimes people will *like* it.

i actually think that edward and harrison are quite similar. i rewatched the quarter-moon convergence (S4, EP 5) and follow the leader (S4, EP 6), and took some notes on both harrison's and edward's character traits.

i found that they actually have a good amount in common. they're both a bit optimistic, loyal, and insecure of their looks. in (S1 EP 3), edward is insecure of his acne. in (S2 EP 3), harrison is insulted by nerris, and seems a bit insecure before exclaiming he'll "grow into his looks."

they both seem to be good at heart, though edward is definitely a bit meaner. however, in (S4 EP 9), edward defends the group against daniel once he realizes that daniel's not who he seems and was literally going to sacrifice a camper.

so, i think that if the two ever had screentime where they interacted, i actually think that maybe they would get along.

yeah i'll stop rambling.

ok i have a rant. WHY are they so similar????

similar eyebrows, ears, and mouths.

i mean look.

similar facial expressions. the performance sort of way they both move. both like to sing.

they've both tried to kill their enemies (though lou's reasons are definitely more valid than moriarty's).

both have henchmen kinda.

moriarty's workers (sort of) are reggie and ronnie.

lou's workers are tuesday, lydia and kitty.

they both get soaked at the end of the movie? moriarty falls into the ocean, lou gets thrown in the washing machine.

at one point, when sherlock finds a clue (i think) he says "the game is a foot." later, moriarty is talking to sherlock through the screen, and he says this "the game is not a foot, or a hand, or a leg, it's just OVER. and you lose. (byeeeeee-)".

also what is with him and knocking people over with his butt. MAN WE GET THE POINT SHSHSJSSDGSHS

anyway. another thing that i love is that watson left the clue with irene, meaning that watson and irene are probably close enough for him to be able to do that.

if you look in the background of one of the scenes close to the end, you see moriarty pouncing on sherlock, which is.. fitting.
