—Meet the Cast!—
(Part One: The Real "Mystery Twins")
The young tween is making a debut in the acting industry as a rising star. After landing the role of playing "Mabel" in the new hit show, "Gravity Falls," she decided that she'd rather associate with that name for her stage name.
Before gaining a presence in acting, she was famous for her love for animals. She started her own brand of sweaters for both people and pets, believing that they deserve a chance to be fashionable as well. She even fully trained her pet pig, "Waddles" — becoming well known for doing such an impressive feat. Due to her passion towards nature's creatures, she's also sworn on being vegetarian; refusing to eat meat of any sort.
She has a heart of pure gold and is said to be just as amazing of a person in real life as she's viewed online.
"Mabel? Oh, she's just the sweetest! She checks on everyone — and I mean everyone — and asks if they're having a good day. She hasn't let any of the attention, or benefits, of getting a main role go to her head, and is so modest. She's splendid to have on set," Susannah (actor of "Lazy Susan") exclaimed during an interview.
The pre-teen girl is beloved by seemingly everyone working on the show, causing her to be quite popular with them. The same can't be said for some of the fan-base, however. Hate groups have been formed against her character and they've decided to also take out their anger against her as well, considering that she's the actress playing the female Pines twin. Other cast members of the show — like Stan (actor of "Stanley Pines"), Mason (actor of "Dipper Pines"), and William (actor of "Bill Cipher") — have shielded her against the verbal assault, coming to her defense. We can only hope that part of the community gains some sense and realizes that they should fix their behavior.
Mason plays the role of "Dipper Pines" — a nerdy teen obsessed with uncovering the mysteries surrounding him. While not being a hunter of the paranormal like his fictional counterpart, Mason has a history of acting in mysteries and horror films. Despite being younger than most people with a job in those genres of media, he's had a successful career with it. He claims that he's never found the supposed 'creepiness' to be unsettling: In fact, he says he's instead usually drawn to it, like a moth to a flame. As a result, he has a passion for the eerie and supernatural — causing him to be a perfect fit for the character.
Many wondered whether or not the 'Big Dipper' birthmark he displays in the show was authentic due to how real it looks, and he confirmed to indeed be simply makeup. Though, he admits that he wishes he did have it for an actual birthmark because of how cool it would be.
Mason is not at all the insecure kid he acts like in the series, and instead is confident and outgoing in person. However, similarly to Dipper, he's tends to be an introvert.
"It's mental whiplash just interacting with the kid! He'll be a sarcastic smart*** , but as soon as the camera starts rolling, all of the sudden he's an awkward mess, sweating bullets left and right. The change catches me off-guard every time, but I try not to act like it," Stan (actor of "Stanley Pines") grunted when we asked him about his experiences.
He's extremely attached to Mabel and clicked with her as soon as they met. They could really trick you into thinking that they were twins with how close they are. They barely spend a moment apart. Frankly, it's adorable.

Time to start writing on my fanfic for my "Actor Falls" AU! Since, I'm terrible at titles, though, I would appreciate any feedback possible.
I just realized that I set the amount of voting time for my poll to be a day instead of 1 week 💀 I swore I clicked on the week option, but I guess not.
dear cast, what was your hardest episode to act for (if one applies)?
Dear Pickledoesthetumbling,
I don't understand why you would want to know (why are people obsessed with seeing me vulnerable), but I suppose I'll entertain my fans. You better appreciate it! The things I'll do for my parent's public image.
I would have to say that the most difficult episode for me to act in was the "Northwest Mansion Mystery" episode. Why? Well, there's multiple reasons behind it, for your information. First of all, Mason is a jerk. ... Okay, fine, maybe that was a bit of an overstatement. I'll rephrase — he can be an annoying smart aleck when he wants to. And, for some reason that only he himself will ever know, he decided to be one for the episode. Constantly. So much so that some scenes from the episode weren't planned and instead some of those "times when actors weren't acting" thing. So what if I maybe fired some insults back? Horror is dumb. It's a scientifically proven fact. Besides, he knows that I'm a natural blonde! Yet, he keeps on making comments about how I'm not. Ugh. He's lucky that I don't mind wasting my time with him with how he acts.
Secondly, the episode hit a bit too...personal for me. I may or may not have had a few mental breakdowns that were only calmed down by Mason and the sense of security he gives me, but there's no proof of that. Like, at all. So, don't go poking your nose around any rumors, gossip, or cut takes. Or else I'll sue you. I'm not joking. I'm sure Mr. Stan would be more than willing to be my lawyer for a cut of the profit.
You're Welcome,
Patricia
Dear Pickledoesthetumbling,
This was a good question! Here — have a sticker for the amazing idea! ^^
Take it! It's a gift between you and me. Anyway— I would have to say that the episode "Dipper and Mabel vs. the Future" was the most difficult for me to act. I'm new at acting, so I didn't know how to make myself emotional or cry at will. Because of this, the ending ended up, admittedly, taking a while to get done. But, everyone was really nice about it! Mr. Stan even gave me some private, one-on-one lessons to help for the scene. It was SO fun. I learned a lot from him! He's the best! I should probably give him a thank-you sticker...
Best wishes,
Mabel <3
Dear Pickledoesthetumbling,
I don't usually have much trouble when it comes to acting due to my lengthy experience in the film industry. But, I would have to say that the hardest episode to act for was "Dipper and Mabel vs. the Future." Usually, I'm able to detach myself from the other cast members and get deep into the role, but the idea of saying something that was supposed to break Mabel's (the character's) heart when she acted so similar to, well, the actor her was just...
...
It — It took a little longer than it normally would have to get into character for the scene. I don't want to talk about it anymore, nor do I have to. Please don't be like other "fans" and choose to respect my privacy. We're not just people acting for your entertainment — we're real human beings, just like you. I shouldn't have to state that.
Sincerely,
Mason
Dear Pickledoesthetumbling,
In all honesty, the answer came to me right away — like a dream! Except it's not a dream, since it's the hardest episode I found to act for, heh... Uh, proceeding on, the episode I had the worst time acting for was "The Hand That Rocks the Mabel". Funny, considering that it was my (character's) debut episode, isn't it? It was difficult for me for two reasons. One, it was my first ever time acting with a main role, so I put a teensy bit of pressure onto myself to be perfect. Not too much, but still some. And, two, I — from time to time — got a bit weirded out from the lines and actions I had to act out. Gideon's a lil' creep. I knew this already, of course, but I still got slightly uncomfortable when I finally had to act like one. It's different knowing something about a character beforehand than having it actually play out in front of your eyes. 'Specially if you're the one playing it out. But, I digress.
Best regards,
Deon
Dear Pickledoesthetumbling,
Thank you for question. I hope that my answer doesn't disappoint, but I can't really think of an episode I had the hardest time acting for, dude (neutral). Like, I had a pretty chill time acting for all of them. Sure, I may have had a little bit of a trouble once in while, but nothing that really stands out. Y'know what I mean? Kinda like when you get all of your dream presents and you're asked to pick a worst one out of all of them. You can't really decide — you feel the same about all of them, but in a positive way. Uh, so yeah. Still, thanks for asking!
Cheers,
Alza (or "Alzamirano" for formality?? Not entirely sure on how to do this, dude...)
P.S. should I have maybe written that extra bit as a "P.S."?
Dear Pickledoesthetumbling,
I took the moment to think deeply about the question before writing my reply, and I can confirm that I indeed have one! For me personally, I reckon that the episode I had the hardest time acting for was the "Gideon Rises" one. I will be the first one to admit that I'm a huge klutz. Whenever we had to shoot that one scene where I was building Gideon his ginormous robot, I would keep slipping, or dropping stuff, or just straight messing up. We had to do...what? Ten retakes? I don't remember the exact amount. Not that I've developed memory problems like my character, heh. Remembering a specific number just wasn't my top priority.
Respectfully,
Hadron
Dear Pickledoesthetumbling,
Ooh~! Interesting question. You don't have the intention of stirring up drama, do you? Ah, I'm just messing with you. Haha! Of course you do! Who doesn't? That's why there's an entire genre for it: People crave tragedy and melodrama. Why, it's a fact about society at this point. Why else do you think there are so many angsty fanfictions on WattPad and Ao3? Because people enjoy watching other people suffer!
Oh, and just to clarify, I'm not one of those people. Cross my heart and hope to die, stick a cupcake in my eye (Pinkie Pie, no one could understand your greatness). Sure, I thrive in the chaos and perhaps may cause some of it from time to time, but when it comes down to the serious stuff? Like bad things happening to real people? I'm not going to stand by and make it my own form of entertainment like everyone else.
...
Oh, that got depressing quick, didn't it? My apologies I'mnottrulysorry! Anywho, back to the reason why I'm writing this whole thing — the hardest episode for me to act for? Well, kid, I'll tell ya. It would have to be "Weirdmaggedon 3: Take Back the Falls". That episode was the main time I struggled out of all of the times I acted for the series. And let me tell you, it was smooth sailing with very little sea monsters threatening the peace when working on the show.
To be more specific, the scene in the Fearamid's Penthouse with Ford was the one I had a difficult time with. Trust me, there's nothing I like more than a challenge, though! Some technical difficulties were overdue after such easy workload and I was prepared for them. Totally. 100%! You better not doubt any of what I'm saying because it's all very much true and if you do you're stupid (jk, I'm sure you're smart if you rightfully have interest in people like me). There definitely was no extra tension between the two of us, and I definitely did not want to bolt the room the moment we were forced to stay onto the same set together. And I definitely did not think back to those days when we met each other in secret. Nor did I remember the twinkle in his brown eyes when he looked at me like I was worth something, stirring up feelings within my heart. I especially did not think of how much I missed him, of how much I regretted our (my) decision to part ways.
Aside from that, everything was a breeze! Acting was — what's the phrase? Oh, yes! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! After all, an actor as talented as moi barely ever has a hard time with the art he perfected.
Yours,
William
Dear Pickledoesthetumbling,
Ha! You wanna know the episode I had the hardest time acting? You wish. Sure, the question itself may come from innocent motives, but one thing I learned is that if you give the public an inch, they'll take a mile. I reveal what episode was the most difficult for me and why and the information will be spread all across the internet — like a weed growing in a garden! Then, it'll become one big game of telephone where the information gets abridged and summarized and translated to the point where it's phrased entirely differently with some people's personal thoughts added to the mix as if I spoke them aloud. After that, either it's used to turn me into some meme — damaging my reputation and self-worth, but don't tell Ford that — or it'll be used to fuel some controversy or type of slander that only those type of people are capable of coming up with. So, sorry, but I ain't got anything for ya. Try again next time.
Goodbye,
Stan
Dear Pickledoesthetumbling,
I compliment you for both your curiosity and decision to take matters into your own hands in order to discover some answers for yourself. Not many people have the confidence to inquire with me about such a subject (though I am absent of any clue why), so I shall reward you for your boldness with an answer.
After thoroughly pondering my many experiences acting for scenes from the show, I have come to a firm and definite conclusion. I can say with absolute certainly that the episode I had the most difficult time acting for was "Weirdmaggedon 3: Take Back the Falls" due to the existence of the Penthouse scene between William and I. I'm sorry to disappoint you in such a manner, but I refuse to give an explanation as for why. It's a personal matter that brings me much discomfort every time my mind thinks of it.
Thank you for your understanding.
Cordially,
Dr. Ford
(I'm sorry that this took so long. I ended up being very busy today. I'm planning on eventually writing a fanfic for this AU once I get to the final part of the "Meet the Cast!" series and one of the chapters delves into how William and Ford felt acting out that one scene. Thank you so much for the ask!)
Please take a few minutes to watch the video and read this post.
I am writing these words after losing hope in everyone… except for you, my friends. Tumblr has a very large number of users, estimated in the millions . That’s an enormous number! But imagine, with all those of people, how would you feel if people saw you and ignored you? You’d feel deeply disappointed, right? Or maybe you’d even wish for death.
Have you ever wished for death? For me, I feel like I’d rather die than be ignored by everyone. If I wasn’t in desperate need of help, I wouldn’t ask anyone for it. I really need help.
Imagine for a moment that you have a small child you love dearly, and you’re forced to watch her suffer in front of your eyes. This isn’t just an imagination for me; it’s my reality. My family and I live this pain every day.
Please, be our hope. Be our voice. Be the ones who save us from despair. Don’t ignore us. Donate, even if it’s just $5 .
There are so many people reading this post right now. I beg anyone who sees these words to donate if they can, and if not, to share this post. Please, don’t leave us behind.
Be our family, or think of us as members of your own family, and save us from this suffering. No matter how small the amount, your help means the world to us. And if you can’t donate, share this post and add a few kind words to inspire others to help.
Thank you so much, everyone. I wish you all the best.

After being reblogged a second time with this, I have finally mustered up the courage to do this! @majoringinfanfiction tagging you here because technically you reblogged it to me first, so in case you're interested in hearing my responses.
1. If you could be any animal, which one would you choose to be?
I would choose to be a cat because I'm a cat person, I enjoy alone time (I'm an introvert), tend to wander wherever *cough cough* pace through rooms *cough cough* when I'm bored, and my love language is physical touch, so I get definitely see myself being affectionate in cat ways.
2. What would you choose to wear when you're in a hurry?
It genuinely would depend on where I'm going: Is it a formal event or a casual meet-up? Who would be there? Friends, superiors, or foes? Assuming I wouldn't have enough time to figure out these variables, I would most likely decide to wear something that would fit well in any category: A white blouse decorated with black flowers, small ruffles on the edges, and two drawstrings towards the bottom that can be used to shift it into a fancier shape; a black undershirt to complement the black flowers and because I don't feel comfortable exposing too much skin; faded blue denim jeans that flair out at the bottom with a cut in the side and flowers sewn into the design; and, lastly, a simple pair of black tennis shoes.
3. Are you a witch, vampire, fairy, dryad, siren, or mermaid and why do you think so?
This was personally a difficult question for me. I already had an idea of what each creature was like, but I still googled them to have an even better picture of which one I would most likely be. In the end, I settled on the mermaid. I love the water — it feels natural to me — and I am an excellent swimmer. I have a strong will and don't bend to other people, which, personality-wise, are what mermaids are supposed to be like. Also, I'm not 100% if singing became a hobby associated with mermaids when they sorta fused with sirens (in terms of concepts) and became the modern version of them, but I love to sing and am very much a theater kid at heart!
4. What is your style?
So, my favorite clothing style and the ideal way I would dress (if I had the money to afford it 💀) would be kawaii lolita. For those not familiar with the style, it's essentially adorable frilly dresses with large, poofy skirts — all colored in pastel! I love it and I feel like it radiates my personality (you'd be more likely to agree if you knew me irl 😅).
...
Unfortunately, though, I don't actually dress that way due to the financial debt it would put me in. In reality, my style ranges from what I'd describe as cute casual to casual chill to extremely fancy. I wear a lot of sweaters (both open ones and regular, collar-less ones) and leggings when it's colder. Once it starts to get warmer, you won't ever catch me dead wearing shorts; it's skorts only! I dress, admittedly, very feminine with my clothes. (Please don't take this as me saying I think there's anything wrong with that — there's not, I'm just saying it in order to give a better idea of what my style is like.)
5. Regular milk or plant-based milk?
I only drink regular milk. I didn't realize that plant-based milk was something people drink until this question, though I suppose it makes sense.
6. Milk or cereal first?
I find it crazy that people debate over this kind of stuff. I put the cereal in the bowl first, then pour the milk second. Otherwise, I would do drastically terrible measurements and end up with a mess of overflowing milk. Then, I would be murdered by my family for causing such a disaster, and I would never be seen again. The end.
7. Favorite way to kill someone?
I just want to preface this by saying that I'm no murderer, nor do I intend on becoming one. With that being said, in terms of actual methods, I don't have one. However, I do love it (from a writer's perspective) when a character just monologues about all of the crazy ways to murder someone like an info-dumping machine as they casually perform the deed. It's displays just how unhinged and detached the character is, which I enjoy from a — and I repeat — writer's perspective.
I'm not pressuring any of you to do this, but I'm supposed to tag mutuals, so...
@ameluvs @kat-reich-4222000 @sunbxf
Once again, don't feel like you have to do this. It's all a matter of choice.
thankyou for the tag @preposterousray 🖤
get to know your mutuals♡
if you could be any animal which one would you choose to be? (can be fictional) (and you can explain why if you want to) I think I would choose to be a bengal tiger because I have always resonated with them 🐅 <3
what would you choose when you're in a hurry and have nothing to wear?
hm, a black singlet top, fishnet tights and black denim shorts with lace, hair in two spiky buns, eyeshadow and lipgloss, some bracelets and obviously my scoliosis brace but that is a mobility aid lol
are you a witch, vampire, fairy, dryad, siren or a mermaid and why do you think so?
I think either a witch (darkness, chaos, magic, freedom, and power, and animals, besides I’m already into witchery) and a vampire (turning into a bat, flying, supernatural powers, macabre)
what is your style?
idk man I love and admire both gothic fashion and punk-rock fashion. diy, scraps, lace, patches, studs, spikes, fishnets, jewellery, mesh, paint, safety pins, stockings, short skirts and shorts, crop tops, weird hairstyles and makeup, expressing individuality and rebellion and the macabre and unusual — and if I’m being formal then thrifted suit jackets and vampy curly updos ✨
regular milk or plant based milk?
regular milk 🥛
which one do you put first milk or cereal?
milk because I am a psychopath
nah I’m actually kidding I obviously put cereal first I just wanted to annoy whoever was reading this
fav way to kill someone? (idgaf if you never thought of it now you have to think of something and make it at least a bit cool I'm begging)
pull one of their eyes out with my fingers, shove a handkerchief into their eye socket, and then throw them the fuck overboard a ship to drown in the unforgiving sea kaz brekker style

—Meet the Cast!—
(Part Two: The Stan Twins)
Stan has spent the majority of his life as an actor. Ever since he was young, he auditioned for parts in plays; giving him an early start to his career. His lengthy experience has allowed him to perfect the art, becoming a professional of the finest quality. He would have never ended up at this point, however, if not for his passion for performing.
"I'd have to say I love the thrill of it. Always have. Putting on a persona and just fallin' back into the character. I dunno too much about the mental implications — that's more of Ford's thing, ya see: nerd stuff — but maybe the fact that it makes me feel in control of the situation is why. And, yeah, I know that it's 'you' not 'ya,' or whatever. I get enough of that at home from you-know-who," he explained upon questioning.
He was requested specifically to play the role of "Stanley Pines" by the creators, Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. They claimed that they thought no one would be able to bring the character to life as well as him. After all, it was a difficult balance of "greedy conman," "grumpy old man," and "secret softie" that had to be done perfectly in order to accurately reflect the vision. A feat they believed only Stan was capable of achieving. Ultimately, they were right: Causing Stanley Pines to become a character loved by the public all because of Stan's acting.
In his free time, he tends to attend casinos for the cause of gambling. He'll walk in with a small amount of cash in his pockets (moderated by Ford to ensure that his twin doesn't accidentally drive himself broke) and come out with bags overflowing with money. He claims to be an extremely lucky person with natural talent and good instincts when it comes to the activity. He has been accused of cheating by many, but his good heart and reputation is enough to challenge and disarm such slander. (Plus, Ford comes to his brother's defense in a way so aggressively protective that some of them back off immediately out of fear.)
Despite his tough outside and gruff voice, he's a kind person who cares a lot about those around him. He's started multiple charities with the money he's won from casinos and gained over the years in an attempt to help those in need. He implores others to step up and do the same, since every donation and act to make the world better makes a difference.
He lives with his twin brother, Ford, and the two of them spend much quality time together. Some people are suprised that they still stay so close at their age, but they just reply that they're like fictional counterparts and wouldn't have it any other way.
Ford is a well-established scientist whose scientific endeavors, while usually being a bit more unorthodox, have paved the way for several accomplishments. He strives for the betterment for society and believes that in order to make discoveries, you need to realize and accept the truth surrounding you. Recently, he's also developed some fame for his first ever acting role of playing "Stanford Pines" from the adored series, "Gravity Falls." The story of how he came to receiving that role is one of humorous coincidences.
"It really was just a huge struck of unbelievable luck — though it was because of Stan, so maybe it isn't that out-of-left-field. The beginning of the story, so I was told, was this: Stan was talking to the writers about upcoming episodes and they revealed to him that they were going to green screen him as double for the rest of the series for the long-lost twin brother, Stanford. Stan was asking about the appearance — what does the twin look like, are there any specific details he should know in advance for when it came to dressing for the scene shoot — so then they mentioned, 'Oh! Well, he has polydactyly, so we'll have to find some way to add an extra pair of fingers on.'" Of course, Stan immediately thought of me and told the crew about having a twin brother who just so happened to have six fingers. They were delighted by this information and offered me the role as a result.
"I didn't know what to think at first. Acting wasn't my forte and I didn't have much experience; not to say that I had none, for there were a few times where I covered for Stan when he had to drop-out last minute. Regardless, I still wasn't very skilled in that particular field of expertise. I wasn't that confident in my ability and felt that my acting would only hinder the quality of the show. That should've been the end of it.
"...
"Yet, it wasn't because Stan is nothing but stubborn, and I can't help loving him for it. He sat down next to me and gave me an encouraging talk. He said that I'm much better than I think I am and this would be a chance to prove those words to be true. He then...he then told me that he would love to be able to work with me on set, and that accepting the role would save the CGI crew some time. At that point, I couldn't refuse, so I was welcomed as the actor of 'Stanford Pines'. And I have to say, I don't regret that decision," the scientist reminisced during a behind-the-scenes interview.
Ford is usually quiet unless a topic of his interest is brought up or he's speaking to a person he enjoys conversating with. He's extremely fond of academics and has been found to help the younger actors with any educational assistance they require; whether that be a math problem they don't understand or an in-depth lesson on theme.
Now, this part is purely theorizing, but many people suspect that he has some kind of past relation to popular actor, William (actor of "Bill Cipher"). Despite the two claiming to not be familiar with the other, they seem to avoid each other specifically out of all of the cast members — even on their supposed 'first day' of meeting! William is more subtle, suddenly being reminded of things and gaining convenient excuses to leave the room. Ford, meanwhile, just slips away once the yellow triangle comes near. However, please remember that this is pure suspicion and not anything valid, so do with this information as you please.

Alright, so story time: I intend on becoming an author my career. I love writing and just the endless creativity that comes with crafting fictional stories. And my blog is meant to be a way that I can share my writings with the world. So, obviously, I wanted to create a user name that was writing-themed. First, I tried out the user "writing-dreams" because all of my fics start out as daydreams essentially; except, instead of being mentally projected as an image, it's just sentences. Also, being a writer is — as I previously stated — my dream job, so it fit well.
However, unfortunately for me, it was taken. After that, I was kind of stumped because I suck at naming things. Then I remembered this random post that went like this: "I wish people would romanticize gaming like how they romanticize reading. People talk about spending an entire day in solitude, reading a book, and that's perfectly acceptable. Encouraged even! But, when I tell people about how I spend an entire day playing video games, all of sudden it's 'unhealthy' and I need to 'take a break and go touch grass.' It's not fair. They should romanticize gaming the same way!" And I was struck with the idea of making my username "romanticizing-writing" due to my passion for writing and random remembrance of that post.
