bi disaster rody soul meets midoriya izuku and then goes on a whole ass summer romance journey with him & falls in love, crying when he has to leave but keeps in touch, & every time they text he gets butterflies in his stomach and goes to bed smiling. then one day midoriya casually mentions he has A Thing with his childhood friend-turned-bully-turned-rival (that angry blond explosion hero) and rody literally spends 2 weeks crying in his room and listening to olivia rodrigo's sour on repeat

but you see, the ingredients (seeds, cloves, juice) are natural aphrodisiacs. the pomegranate seeds originating from the greek mythology of hades and Persephone. chocolate is also an aphrodisiac, TMYK!

"...I guess that is true. But, is that really considered a love potion? There's no guarantee for anyone to fall in love with you."

"How does drinking bones even work? Like melting them?" Ochako asked before shuddering. (nuravity)

Oh no, now Uraraka was getting involved too.

"I was thinking more along the lines of lemonade or orange juice. Breaking the bones and squeezing them- why are we even thinking about how this works?"

He gently took the notebook from his boyfriend's scarred hands, looking over the page that it was currently on. Deku was right about him not understanding most of the writing, though it was sweet to have all of this stuff hand written about him.

All... of... this... He flipped through the additional pages that had to do with him and Pino. Said pink companion was happily viewing the pages from his shoulder as well. Rody was surprised to have even one page about him but- there was more? It was touching, and he found himself smiling at the drawings integrated into the notes. How cute.

"Hm?" Rody looked down at his boyfriend as he currently rested against his chest. Which was the worst place for him to be as his heart skipped at the sweet and genuine words. Rody knew he helped save the world, but part of him continued to deny the 'hero' label for some reason.

His face was heating up and Rody playfully shoved the notebook into the hero's face so he wouldn't see. Though that didn't stop Pino's soft chirping. "Yeah yeah, but we all know it wouldn't have been possible without you."

“Huh…?” Izuku blinked out of his thoughts when he heard Rody’s voice. He felt his boyfriend’s weight shift behind him and flushed for the briefest moment at the close proximity. He blinked and flashed a sheepish smile once he processed the question. “Oh…! Sorry…” 

He held up the notebook for Rody to see. “You can look at it if you want…” he added as the flush only grew worse. “Though, I’m not sure how much you’d get out of it since it’s mostly in Japanese…” There were at least five full pages dedicated to Rody and Pino in the notebook. There were a few sketches of both of them along with detailed descriptions of Rody’s abilities and his Quirk.

He leaned back against Rody and a warm smile crossed his face. “You’re in here because you’re one of my heroes…” he murmured. “If it weren’t for you and Pino, we wouldn’t be able to have this kind of moment together…” His smile widened. “You both helped us save the world.”

(Muse: Amelia Soul) (Coming for your feels tonight!) Wait this couldn't be... No this wasn't possible. Was what she had been told all those years ago really a lie? Well only one way to find out, Feeling Kamisha forming to sit on her shoulder to offer warmth and comfort as she approached the brunette. "Excuse me sweetheart your name wouldn't happen to be Rody Soul now would it?"

A stranger asking for his identity was a toss-up. It could be an old organization he worked under looking for trouble, or someone who found out how Rody contributed to defeating Humarise and just wanted to thank him.

Either way, his go-to response was as follows:

“Depends. Who’s asking?”

It was like he ran into a brick wall. His mind didn't know how to comprehend the person standing in front of him. There were so many thoughts but none at the same time as his breath caught in his throat.

Rody’s first thought was that the woman just happened to look eerily similar to his late mother... but that phoenix on her shoulder... No one else had that. There was no mistaking it.

But it couldn’t be her, right? She had passed soon after Lala was born. So she couldn’t possibly be standing in front of him. Was this someone else’s quirk? A sick trick being played on him? Was he finally going crazy after all those late-night shifts at the bar?

“You... I’m dreaming, aren’t I?”
