HIIII UHM so I’m currently trying to fight my over-the-top perfectionism soooo I’ve been trying to focus on making lower-effort drawings (mostly during class…) (don’t tell my teachers) without polishing up every single detail aaaand here’s one of the pics I made as a result :) it’s my melody sitting in a cupcake. don’t even ask me how she got there. First and foremost, this blog is 100% sfw and child-friendly!!!

Right now I mostly just make silly art for myself, but in the future I really hope to become a children’s illustrator! I’d love to illustrate kidlit books, but I’d be open to trying other things too. I’ll make a post when I figure out how to start accepting commissions :)

I support lgbtq+ rights, pacifism, eco activism, feminism, ethical veganism and abolitionism <3 This might sound complicated but essentially, once again, I just want to make the world a kinder place. Fluttershy as close to canon as possible / with my redesign and headcanons :3

In my redesign, she’s part-pony (semi-flying pegasus) part-deer! Also, this might be a bit controversial, but I headcanon her as a trans girl so she has little antlers (and doesn’t really mind them). I also gave her short hair because I think it would be more realistic since she runs an animal sanctuary all by herself… Long flowy hair would get in the way of her work, i think.

I tried to make my design a bit more detailed and realistic, based on her lore and my own perception of who she is as a pony… or a doe :P so there you have it. I hope someone likes it!

Also. obviously I’m not actually turning eight lol 😭 I’m actually eighteen now.. which is wild to think about. I guess I’m just never going to actually feel like a grownup :P

(sad) context: one of my pet rats has been sick with a respiratory infection for a while… thankfully he’s feeling a bit better now tho, sooo this is an old pic! I drew it during the night when his breathing got especially bad and I had to stay up holding him and feeding him baby food :(
