Hello, Tumblr! This is @ro994art, and I've decided to create a side blog to share all about the Sedaverse, which is what I have named the universe in which my fanfic "A Second Chance" takes place: an OC insert story with my MCU original character, Roxanne Brooks AKA Seda!

"This is the story of Roxanne Brooks. After seemingly leaving behind a life-altering tragedy, her world will turn upside down once again after a fateful encounter. The powers she acquired in this traumatic accident years ago may actually be a blessing in disguise. But being a hero doesn't come without a price. This is an OCxCanon love story (with my main character getting paired up with Bucky Barnes) taking place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, mostly from phases 1 to 4. If you enjoy stories that have:

Superhero origin stories with coming-of-age elements,

Found family,

Lovers to enemies AND enemies to lovers,

A well-developed, wholesome (slowburn) romance with LOTS of hurt-comfort, yearning, and tension (where the guy falls first 😉),

You know guys, I actually can't wait for Thunderbolts* to come out.

No, I don't mean that in the "OMG I'm so hyped and excited for this movie and I'm sure it's gonna be amazing and I'm going to have a great time watching my fav in it" sense.

I mean it in a "The journey ever since the announcement of this movie has been so stressful to me as a Bucky fangirl, the marketing campaign has been a complete rollercoaster, and for every choice that I actually kind of like they make 3 decisions that completely appal me; so I just want to know what happens in the damn thing already so I can get it over with, plan out a fix/rewrite for our AU with my friend, and move on" kind of sense.

As Roxanne heads to rescue her brother and Bucky stays behind to protect the Garcías, both of them will have intense battles to face, both internal and external.

🌙✨️ Date for the Night (A SciFlash redraw)

SciFlash (human Flashlight) used to be practically all I drew back in 2017 up until maybe early 2020. Most of those artworks haven't aged very well, so I decided to redraw one of my most well-known pieces. I am quite proud of the improvement! I still have a lot of room to keep getting better of course, but it's nice to see how far I've come since I was in high school.

🎂 October 17th Birthday Girls 🎂

It's my birthday, so I drew myself with my two main OCs, who also share my birthday! (Just different years haha)

Yes, all three of us are nicknamed Ro. And they do have aspects of my personality to them. But other than that, the three of us are super different!

To those of you who don't know them, the girl on the left (red hair, piece sign) is my Equestria Girls OC, Rose Gold. She has a magical talent to see who people's soulmates are, and is a self-proclaimed matchmaker, though her confidence in her abilities may surpass her actual success range. She may or may not come off as kind of crazy sometimes, but she means well and has a heart of gold! (No pun intended)

And the older girl on the right (brown hair, in the Bucky hoodie) is my MCU OC, Roxanne Brooks, AKA Seda. As you may have guessed by her hand gesture, she has spider powers! She started off as my Spidersona but ended up becoming SO much more than that, and she has her whole story and AU that I'm currently working on publishing! (The story is fully planned out, though) She's very shy and insecure, which sometimes makes her superheroing difficult. But she's one of the kindest-hearted people you'll ever meet (as long as you don't get on her bad side or messed with her loved ones). She has had a rough life, but when she meets someone who's had it even worse, finding common ground with said person may lead to something more blooming between them (COUGH her hoodie gives you the answer, COUGH).

EDIT: I forgot to mention that her hoodie design is based off one made by an Instagram account StyledByMarvel. I'm totally in love with that hoodie and I'm not sure if they still have it in stock, but if they do, I so wanna get myself one someday TuT

You can see more of Roxanne specifically in the Instagram I have dedicated to her and the OCxCanon couple, as well as the ongoing fanfic about them! I don't have a lot of Rose Gold's lore posted as of yet, but my next post is going to be a little introduction to both her and a secret relative that she may or may not get all that well along with. 👀

So yeah, hope you don't mind this little self-gift. I've been having a rough year for a number of reason, so I wanted to treat myself a little. I hope you're all taking care of yourselves and that you'll have a great day! ♡

First artwork of the year is dedicated to Sebastian Stan and his SUPER well-deserved win from yesterday. If you know me, you knew I had to do something in commemoration of my favorite actor finally getting some recognition. 🩵

I know Sebastian doesn't really get into social media anymore (and for good reason honestly), but I sincerely hope someone lets him know how proud us his fans are of him. 🥹

UPDATE JAN 09: Okay, I admittedly rushed this one and wasn't very happy with the eyes and some other minor things after I had posted them, so I made adjustments. I can't modify the file on other sites unfortunately, but I can here, so I did xD

HAPPY ELEMENTAL PREMIERE DAY! Though it sadly isn't coming to my country for another week ;_: But that's only making me build up more hype for this movie than I already had, so I REALLY wanted to include these two in my ongoing 4 ship challenge, even though no one requested them xD

I stepped way out of my comfort zone with this piece as you can see, and I'm honestly so happy with how it ended up looking! Hope you guys will enjoy <3

🩶 Human Muffin and Socks 💙

Some new art at last! July was very stressful for me and I wasn't really able to do anything all month, but I finally got to finish these cuties after a few weeks of putting them off.

Originally an entry for a challenge, but I decided to simply focus on the art instead. I haven't really given myself the chance to do that lately, which in turn has caused me to struggle to find motivation to draw. I'm working on finding enjoyment and fun in the process of making art once again, because after all, that's what this page is for. ♡
