"Hello my children, I've called you all here on account of my guest. A child was found playing in the woods, They have been living here for a while and we have suspected they might be a cross of demon and human."

"Then go home no one needs the attitude." Tengen sassed.

"I for one would like to see what they are like!" Rengoku boasted, accidentally cutting Sanemi off. He couldn't hear him.

"Are we sure it's safe. We do not know its intention." Gyomei asked.

"During the time they were here they never ate or was agressive towards anyone. Why don't you come out Y/n, I know you're listening."

You slightly opened the door to the engawa and peaked your head out.

"They're gonna kill me." You whined.

"No ones gonna kill you," Ubuyashiki and his children chuckled, "Can you come here please."

You thought for a minute before slowly making your way over to him, careful not making eye contact with the hashira.

"Aw how cute." Mitsuri gushed.

"They don't look the least bit demon." Iguro noted.

You shrugged, Sanemi groaned, "No disrespect master, but I don't see the purpose of keeping it alive."

"I told you they wanted to kill me!" You cried while running back into the mansion.

You had a habit of following your father and for the most part he found it cute until it became a problem and you kept following him to the hashira meetings.

And guess where you followed him today.

More specifically when a demon slayer was caught protecting his demon sister.

You hid behind the side of the building out of site but you could hear most of everything.

You heard so commotion and peaked around the corner to see giyuu standing a few feet away from you and the slayer on the ground with sanemi in front of him.

'Did he just hit sanemi' you were shocked. In the time you had know Sanemi he beat you in every fight but this kid took him down with his hands behind his back.

"What are you doing here Y/n." You heard giyuu whisper next to you making you realize how you far you had hovered over to get a better look of what happened.

Making a strange noise you hid back behind the corner. "Promise not to tell dad, I followed him cause I heard what happened." You wisphered back grabbing the building.

"I think its to late for that."

Your heart dropped. You looked to the hashira immediately making eye contact with your father.

He held no emotion while looking at you.

"Yatoraa~" You hugged him from behind "whatcha working on." You looked over his shoulder at a blank canvas. You heard a deep sigh as he leaned into your hold.

"I don't know anymore, I'm supposed to draw something in black and white and still get the same effect as color but its hard." You could tell he was frustrated and you wanted to help.

"How about you take a little break and look around, try to find something with a lot of feelings even without color." You start to pull him away from from the canvas. He chuckles turning around and hugging you.

"Is this your way of asking me on a date." He held you tight giggling like a school boy. You would've said something if you weren't being pressed into is chest. You started dating Yatora a few months before he joined the art program and to him it was perfect timing.

"Alright lets go somewhere." He basically dragged you out of his house saying bye to his mom and walking around the bustling city for a while before you both came across a ramen shop.

small talk and childish laughs were shared at the shop. You could tell he was getting to relax a bit and you were glad. When he first started practicing art he as so excited but got burned out fast. You were glad that he was finally able to give his brain a little break. Finishing your meal you asked "did anything spark your interest yet." You said as you started to pay for the meal.

"Nope, nothing yet. How about we go your house we could watch a movie or something." He rubbed the back of his neck all shy like as you gushed at how cute he looked. "Sure lets go."

You panicked and tried to avoid him but he stayed close to you even while broadcasting his carnage

He could tell that in hell you were a fish out of water so he proposed a deal

He would give you enough power to protect yourself from anyone and everyone that tried to harm you in exchange for your soul

"Why are you following me?" You ask as you got away from the public eye so you could talk to him.

"I just want to have a little chat, my dear. We used to be quite close after all." He smiled

"That was a long time ago." You groaned as you hugged yourself to give some type of comfort.

"Exactly, in all my days I never would've thought that you, of all people, would end up with humanities worst. Whatever did you do, my dear." Alastor said as he approached you.

"That is none of your concern."

"Oh, but it is a sweetheart such as yourself doesn't deserve this place but looks can be deceiving." He sang as he wrapped an arm around your waist and lead you down a side walk.

"I can't think of anything bad that you could have done to end up here and I'm just dying to know."

His prying eyes stared into yours, it was making you uncomfortable. You removed his hand from your waist and walked beside him.

"Why would I tell you? You're the reason I'm here in the first place." You said. You couldn't believe how wide his smile grew.

"I did not kill you because I wanted to. In fact, it was your death that led to mine." He leaned close to your ear and whispered, "You meant that much to me, my dear." The sound of static filled your ears. His confession surprised you, it reminded you of your relationship when you were alive.

"I killed my parents." You confessed, and the static stopped abruptly.
